We really enjoyed our stay at Happy Traveler RV Park. It's exactly what we expected after visiting the website and spending time on Google. The park is right up against the mountains so great trails for hiking are minutes away, it's minutes away from downtown Palm Springs so shopping and restaurants are within easy walking distance, and the price compares very well to other RV parks in the area. The facilities are dated, but seem to be kept very functional and were always very clean while we were there. The staff and other visitors were always super friendly and helpful. We did find the WiFi to be simply horrible - in fact, it proved to be essentially useless. If you visit, you should probably not plan to rely on the Wifi.

We've been staying here for years and love the central location, the pool, incredible views and the sense of community that you don't find at most RV parks. Yes, that means there are colorful characters, but we truly enjoy that. And, wow, those sunrises are amazing.

We stay here occasionally and I love this place. The pool is great and all spaces are very private with tall hedges between them. Some long-term folks but everyone is pretty friendly. My only gripe is that they have raised the price 25% in the last 2 years.

Very nice clean park. Everyone here has been very nice to us. We will be back but I do wish they would update the bathroom.

I go there for the fabulous parties that the great Robert throws for his guests. He really appreciates everyone and shows with gratitude every holiday party.
I must take exception to all the bathroom comments. The bathrooms are all old school and at all in working order and very clean. A blast from the past. And that's what you want when you go to palm springs. The staff are all great, helpful and very accommodating.
Everyone always Enjoys their stay here!

Had a great time here. Close to downtown Palm Springs and the views of the mountains right behind you are breathtaking. Pool and hot tub were great and other stayers were friendly in the park. Staff was too. Hook ups worked well, and we liked the privacy that the shrubbery created. Do be careful with the lots, they are very tight which is well advertised. My partner is pretty skilled at backing in now so had no problems but may take a few tries for newer travelers. Men’s showers were a bit dated worked well and water was hot overall. We would have stayed another week here if we could but they didn’t have space.

We stay at Happy Traveler several times a year. It's clean, friendly and conveniently located. Yes, it takes a little skill backing our 31ft Class A into the space but we've never had a problem. The restrooms, pool and hot tub are well maintained. There is no on-site shop, but a convenience store sits right outside the pool gate. We love walking into downtown Palm Springs. Also, a free "Buzz" shuttle passes by every 15 minutes for those with walking issues. They don't take credit cards, so come prepared with cash. We are Happy Travelers!

Older facility designed in the 50's for smaller 'tear drop' trailers of the time. Very well kept and clean. Nice pool and hot tub. Beware of the narrow driveways that makes backing into the spaces with a trailer difficult. If your not 'good' at backing up trailers I would avoid this park. Short walk to downtown. Highly recommended.

This is the best park i have found in a long time. Here is why. QUIET!!!! PRIVATE!!!! Gerdy is the sweet friendly face of this park after hours. I had read some reviews that stated it wasn’t very clean. It’s in a windy area so you would have to clean 24/7 to keep it perfectly groomed. It is very clean and each space is provided with a trash bag and holder that gets picked up everyday. Some reviewers complained it was not updated. It is older, but it is a great value. New does not always make better. Has a home town feel and I will return often and enjoy this beautiful park that I am so delighted to have found. To me it’s a gem! . Rebecca is the manager and was so friendly. I did have one concern and when I addressed it to Rebecca, she told me she was already taking care of it. This park is very unique and has that Palm Springs” vibe.

Smaller, quiet RV and mobile home park. Love the privacy bushes between RV spaces. A vigorous mountain hike is just a block behind the resort (my quads are still sore 2 days later!). Bus route into downtown Palm Springs is helpful if you don't have a toad to drive around. Good, clean refreshing pool and spa. Spacious shower. Billard room. Bring cash or check; NO CREDIT CARDS accepted.

We have stayed there multiple times in a trailer and now our RV. Very clean park. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Summers are of course very hot, so there are ample spaces if you care to stay there. During winter, book way in advance, as many snow birds stay several months. We were able to be there a couple of times during the Christmas holidays over the years. You meet people from many northern states, Canada and even Alaska! What fun!

Happy Traveler Rv Park was an amazing rv park. Rebecca at the office was so very helpful and accommodating with all of our stuff. She was helpful and wanted us to have a good stay no matter what. They also allow animals and the park is very clean. I would highly recommend this park to people in the Palm Springs area or traveling this way. The park is relatively tight, but the pool, hot tub, laundry, and staff is amazing. In addition the residents are friendly. 5 out of 5.

A nice and clean RV very near to Palm Springs Downtown. You can walk 20 min or you take the free shuttle (just on Thursday-Sunday) to go there.
Quiet and relaxing place! Laundry is for free. You have electricity, water and a dump station on your campground.

The best RV park to stay. I love it here. It's the finest in the country. Beautiful, clean, and very well kept. Reasonably priced and perfectly located in Palm Springs near downtown, hiking trails, world famous restaurants and shopping.

We stayed here for three weeks in March of 2022. One of the absolute best Rv parks we’ve ever been to! Quiet, friendly, respectful neighbors and a close community of long term residents.
