LakeHills Community Church

Wow...what a powerful and inspirational experience I have every time I attend this church. My family is always greeted at the door and welcomed in. The message is always relevant and Biblically based. I've even communicated with both the Pastor and his wife online and always found them to be encouraging and informative. If you're looking for a Bible-based small, but, growing church in the Lake Elsinore area Lake Hills is the place to go and this Sunday is the day to start.

Lakehills is absolutely amazing. The power and presence of the Lord is front and center and felt throughout. Pastor Jon is an excellent teacher and really knows how to relate the bible to everyday actions that I can utilize daily. Love this community church!! Do yourself and family a favor and visit them!!

We really enjoyed it here. We were visiting from out of town this past weekend and loved the experience. The kids ministry was great. We really enjoyed pastor Jon Hornkohl's message and the sweet community. They were so welcoming. We loved how community focused they were with giving back, exactly as Jesus Christ instructs us. You can tell there was a great excitement here, God definitely working. We would be excited to attend & serve this church if we lived closer. :)

Fantastic church, amazing community and a phenomenal pastor! Pastor Jons sermons are concise and convicting and yet they can be humorous and light hearted. I would definitely recommend Lake Hills to any one looking for a new church home!

LakeHills is a Christ-centered, loving community. They love their community authentically by meeting people where they are at. There is a strong sense of unity within this church. Pastor Jon teaches the word of God with conviction and compassion.

LakeHills Community Church is a faithful body of believers. The members of this church are welcoming, generous, kind and genuine.

If you are looking for a church and know what you are looking for, I've listed some data points below that you may find useful, but if you aren't particular or you prefer to "feel things out" then just give it a try for a few Sundays.

LHCC is:
-Generally Baptistic in theology and polity
-American-evangelical/non-denominational contemporary in style (non-liturgical, no hymn books, casual dress, not confessional, etc...)
-dispensational in their hermeneutics
-programmatic/communal in the approach to the ministry of the church
-welcoming of children in the worship service
-application-focused in teaching
-a place for enthusiasts

I love the people that attend this church! Also, the Pastor's teaching are straight from the Bible...totally LOVE that!! A great place to go if you don't like huge churches & if you love real people being real...

LakeHills is a place where you can immediately feel comfortable while embracing the love of Jesus and his followers. It is a great community church with an awesome mission of making fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

LakeHills is a small church with BIG love, you immediately feel like you belong. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. This Bible teaching Holy Spirit dwelling, is the place to be.

This is a welcoming, contemporary church who love Jesus and others! Pastor Jon's teaching is Biblical, practical and easy to apply to everyday life.

LakeHills Community Church is a wonderful church with a core leadership, energized pastor, and a welcoming friendly church body; it is another place Carly and I call home.
