The Palms Cafe

This place is a local favorite! Good food and great service. Because it is such a local favorite - literally, people waiting to get in all the time - the ambiance is energetic and it can be quite loud, or at least it was on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

Food: We were a party of three, two ordered the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad, and one ordered the Cobb - portions were large and filling.

Service: Elizabeth, our server, Anna our hostess, and Miguel the bus staff, ensured we were satisfied and were very welcoming despite being very busy due to the popularity of the cafe. Ruben walked by and even offered to take a photo.

Parking: There is free parking lot in front of the cafe.

If you are looking for good food, large portions, great service, and a taste of the local vibe in a casual yet energetic environment, then you should try this cafe when you are in Rancho Mirage!

This is a wonderful place to get an Al fresco breakfast or lunch with your well behaved four legged pal. The service is top notch and the food is excellent. They’ll even bring a dish of water for your pup on a warm day. You also get a nice view of the mountains.

Every visit to Palm Springs must include a meal at The Palms. Their pancakes ruined all other pancakes for me, this is the best. Thin crispy tender pancake! All of the meals I’ve had here have been delicious. The staff are prompt and courteous! There’s plenty of parking in the many lots. The atmosphere is a casual coffee shop, great AC and misters outside to keep you cool in the Palm Springs heat.

Wow, this place still has decent prices, delicious fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and a clean atmosphere. Found our new favorite breakfast location to bring my family. Thank you Palm Cafe!

I recommend making the drive to this location and checking out the mall next door if you like antique shopping or plan to get married on the spot. The mall has a wedding chapel.

Had breakfast here. Very good food. The blueberry pancakes were really good, scrambled eggs and sausage as well. They also serve fresh squeezed orange juice which is a plus!

This place was really good. Got the breakfast burrito. It was huge. You can definitely share this one.

Great place for Breakfast/Lunch . Great food fast service can't complain.

We ordered entree salads. We each had freshly cooked juicy chicken on our salads. My husband declared his order of taco salad was the best he’d ever had! We were there at lunch rush when it was quite loud. A popular place, even on the January 1 holiday! The staff were always hard at work cleaning, serving customers or preparing table service.

Heard about this place a few times, but didn’t really connect where it was. It’s in a unique location; away from other restaurants, in a small mall. Easy parking and centrally located in the valley.

Great breakfast with many choices and daily specials. Food was excellent and portions were good size (almost too much). Service was prompt and friendly, and it has relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Interior booths have hot rod upholstery; kind of unique. Patio seating is available as well.

Going to say this is one of the top 3 breakfast spots in the desert.

This was so enjoyable. The food was down home good and the family-like servers and buspeople were all so pleasant as if they were welcoming in guests to their home. I had an omelette but if I weren't on this damn low carb diet it would have been the famous eggs Benedict. Such a great place!

Service was very professional, food came out unusually fast for the amount of food we ordered and everything was hot and fresh. Will be returning and referring this location! Great experience!

What a find! We were in town for work and randomly chose this cafe for lunch. Amazing salads and other options. Fantastic menu, we will be back. Our service was outstanding. Outside seating, dog friendly🙏🏻♥🐶

Lovely breakfast haunt with a wonderful atmosphere. Everyone working at the Palms was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed mimosas (bottomless for 90 minutes if I remember correctly) eggs, hash browns, buttermilk pancakes, home fries and toast, can't wait to taste their eggs Benedict next time.

Chili cheese omelet and biscuits and gravy were excellent! Waffle with strawberries and the two eggs were great. Great and fast service.

Wife had banana nut pancakes. I had a chicken salad. All very delicious. Very friendly accomodating staff. Great breakfast and lunch restaurant.

Had a breakfast meeting. Ran about 1.5 hours, we just had coffee, but the waiter was so nice, kept our cups full the whole time. We left him a nice tip since we tied up his table so long. It was a very nice environment, conducive to business discussion.

Great spot for bfast! We opted for open air dining outside. Quickly sat and a glass of ice water also quickly appeared (it was a hot day!) Yummy food and fast, but not rushed, service. Reasonable prices and no frills casual dining. Def recommend!
