The equipment was clean and the staff was pretty friendly. The woman who was the dental assistant seemed to have a very hard time with the machine that performs x-rays, stopping everything to keep readjusting the device in my mouth so she can get a decent picture of my mouth.

The dentist working at the time seemed nice and at the end of my appointment and consultation we went over the prices of all the procedures I needed done, a whopping 11,000 worth of dental work, ranging from a couple surgical extractions, cleaning, and multiple fillings followed by one crown. My insurance covered a good part of it so I would only pay 3,000 out of pocket. I didn't have that kind of money at the time, so I opted for a surgical extraction of the tooth that was bothering me, and if I could do a payment plan for the procedure.

The receptionist told me that she would give me a call when the employee who handles payment plans is baxk again. I called again a few days later after no callbacks or follow-up from anyone from Esplanade Dental concerning the payment plan details, and once again the employee who handles payment plans was not in, but she would get back to me.

This went in for the next few weeks; the calls, the run around, and then the lack of callbacks thereafter. I finally gave up and switched dentists completely. I was the only customer when I came into the office at the time so I couldn't imagine that they're too impossibly busy. Don't waste your time.

First visit, dentist introduced himself as "Doctor Joe" so I have no clue who he is, obviously an insult to my intelligence and wouldn't look me in the face when talking to me. Maybe he thought because he is asian that it was funny, but I didn't think so. Then after the exam, "Nanette" hit me with this estimate but did not explain the medical terms, did not offer me a printout, did not go over what was going to be the process,just how much I would be paying out of pocket. Her obvious priority was to get the money out of my pocket as fast as she could. I actually had to call and ask how we were proceeding, and she tried bullying me into paying upfront. I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. There just wasn't anything professional about this place and I found another dentist the very next week that was just the opposite, professional and took the time to explain in detail what I needed and let me decide how we would proceed. In fact, the entire staff at my new dentist is very professional and made my first visit a pleasurable one.

BAD, BAD, BAD PLACE! Stay away from this business as far as you can. Bulling and insulting personal. Young and unprofessional doctor. They refusing to do what you ask looking to raise your bill as much as possible to profit on you and not helping you.
Ex-ray $53. What? Just down the street 239 N Sandeson Ave, Ste c-2 you'll find friendly and caring personal with ex-ray $10 only!!!!
Beware this Esplanade dental office! They will eat you a life.
