Big 5 Sporting Goods

The biggest and best Big 5 I’ve ever seen. They have beautiful items and everything is very clean and well-stocked. Excellent staff and excellent help here at this great store. I would recommend this store highly. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and kind. Amazing sneakers, clothes and much more. This is an amazing place to shop. Ample large parking spaces and plenty of handicapped spaces, as well.

A shout out to Joel and William at Palm Desert Big 5! Very professional and courteous. Very clean store and the atmosphere the staff creates is awesome , it’s how a shopping experience should be!

Amazing CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I went in looking for a massage gun. They were sold out at this location. But they looked at their other stores close by and asked them to hold the item until I got to the other location. I was able to get the massage gun.

Good location, parking, prices, and inventory.

When I need a pick up energy wise or in a not so good mood and I go by a Big 5, I stop in and walk thru the whole store. The smell of new leather baseball mits and new shoes, takes me to a good memory of my youth. That calms me and I feel grateful that Big 5 is still in business after my 60 years in sports. That is pretty cool in today's shopping environment, where most of it is done on line. You gotta be there to feel all the goodness sports brings to us!! They have Frisbees which are hard to find. Walmart got rid of their line of frisbees and and I got my track spikes for my running fix. I train for Masters track meets 800 meters....

Great customer service! I called in looking for a item, the female employee was very helpful, found the item,
then transferred me to her manager-Pedro, as I had a question. He was extremely helpful too and receptive. I needed the item shipped to a nearby store so I can purchase and pick it up. He would arrange for delivery to my nearby store. I took info down and would await until arrival of it. Within seconds, I received a phone call back from Pedro informing me there was another store close to me that carried same item and was also in stock. He went over and above to make it easy for me to have this item as soon as possible. Btw, item was a deal, too. Thank you Pedro and employee...this kind of customer service speaks volumes of your work ethics!

It's the only place I can buy shoes for my 12 year old that last more than two months. No pressure sales floor but easily found and they check on you periodically.

Such great service from a young man who was on his second day of working there. As a small business owner, I really appreciate good customer service - I would hire him in a minute! He helped me find the items I was looking for easily and I was able to get in and out with what I needed without having to hunt.

This place has everything for the golf enthusiastic. The customer service here is always great. A young lady by the name of Nikolette was a great help when I couldn't make up my mind on the shoes I was trying to decide on. If you're ever in this store and your undecided ask for Nikolette her personality is cheery and helpful.

This place is great! The staff is very helpful when purchasing anything behind the counter and ammunition purchases (as long as you're legal to do so) are a breeze. Highly recommended!

This comprehensive Sporting Goods store has excellent staff, very helpful and courteous. We came in to shop for pickleball equipment, and ended up purchasing there. When you join their e-club you get some good coupons and daily specials. Will be going back soon

Staff is very friendly and bent over backwards to help me find a properly fitting shoe! I am a challenge having recovered from two ankle and heal surgeries. My original injury happened while wearing "rocker bottom type"shoes 👟 from the The Good Feet Shoe Store in Costa Mesa.

I waited for awhile before making this review because I wanted to see and experience a consistent amount amount of customer service before deeming Big 5 Sporting Goods as arguably the best store of its kind. With the exception of one random new associate in the past two years, I have nothing but praises to sing for Big 5 Sporting Goods, which is why they have earned a great reputation and Five out of Five stars of approval from me. Well stocked, super friendly and helpful staff. We bought an anti gravity chair. They carried it across the store for us. Went that extra mile to provide great service!!!!!

They were helpful and nice. I brought in my online return with no hassles. The manager was very helpful at handling my return and purchase. Had good sales and not too busy.

I found the shoes that I have been looking for a lot less than in Phoenix where I live, Joel was able to go to the "back room" and find a wide shoe in my size.
