Residence Inn by Marriott Palm Desert

Spoke with Candy the front desk associate about room rates as I will be working in the area soon and he was very professional and helpful. I will be visiting the property soon to see if I will be staying there long-term.

Right off Cook and I 10, perfect for Acrisure Arena shows. Rooms are pretty standard. Clean, but someone smoked in my room, it had that stale smoke smell. Super friendly service, includes breakfast.

Such a great location, love the breakfast buffet here, nice work out gym... the rooms are wonderful... second time staying here love the suites here...

Resort style property with lots of cozy spots outdoors. Our suit had brand new furniture, carpets, curtains, etc, also very beautiful golf course view which I have enjoyed while sitting on the balcony. Loved desert plants surrounding the property. The stuff was super friendly, although... When checking in I told them that this is my first stay after reaching Gold status with Marriott loyalty program, and the answer was they cannot give me the upgrade which is coming with new benefits, but they still will post 1000 gift points instead of regular 250 to my account, well, later I have checked: only 250 points were posted... 1000 points were posted 1 month later, thank you!

Very clean safe place. Breakfast was good. Better than most places. Staff friendly.

What a lovely place! This was a beautiful resort when I expected just a hotel. Two separate rooms off of a common living/dining/kitchen space. Not just two beds in one room like so often. TV in living space and both bedrooms. Bathrooms off of each bedroom also helped make this a lovely experience while we had 4 to our suite. Lots of space and less to share among us 4. Full kitchen with full fridge too. Had a balcony with chairs as well. Breakfast was bagels, bread, mini muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, cereals, apples/bananas, and juices or hot drinks. Pool was nice and surrounds beautiful. Since we visited in May, it wasn't too hot and lovely weather including cool nights. Great stay if you're heading for desert.
Also, being on a group retreat, we used the large meeting room which was great.

Really nice example of how Marriott does this style of hotel very very well. Huge rooms and suites, with direct room access to the crystal clear pool. Tons of parking. Staff are all really helpful, professional and service-oriented. The 1-bedroom suite we stayed in was huge, well-maintained, and well-designed. The bathroom was also huge and well-maintained, and the hot water for the tub / shower was readily accessible, even late in the evening, plus the water was really as hot as you could want it (almost unheard of nowadays). Well worth the price.

Only thing I didn't care for was the showerhead. Other than that, nice roomy room. Slept great on the bod.

Conveniently located near the I-10 for easy access to all the Coachella valley cities. There is a check-in desk 24/7 and all of the rooms are a great value for the money. Breakfast is served each morning. The hotel has amenities such as tennis courts, pool etc. You do have to drive to your room, and there's no elevator to the second floor, but Marriott's done a nice job with an older establishment.

Customer service was amazing , Nel was a sweet heart. I loved that each room had a kitchenette and the tv has Netflix, Amazon Prime, and (free) showtime. Decor was cute and comfortable. Continental breakfast actually had protein (eggs and turkey sausage) and great coffee. Solid stay , would definitely comeback again.

This is our go to property whenever we stay in Palm Desert. The staff is friendly and more then welcome to help you out. There is also an Applebee's located in the same place which also has good service. JT's Diner is just down the road and is also a great spot for food. Large rooms with great views of the golf course. Our favorite amenity is the pool great vibes and always a great time.

Stayed here during Coachella; I was very happy with the location and it’s wonderful staff! The breakfast that was complimentary to our stay was amazing, I was expecting a continental type of breakfast but they served a full gourmet offering. Hope to stay here again soon!

Wonderful location and staff is extremely attentive to our concerns. They layout was less like a hotel and more like apartments. Will come here again.

This place is awesome. The view is amazing the staff is super friendly there is a full breakfast in the mornings and the rooms aren't rooms they are sweets it is beautiful

Friendly staff when checking in and the rooms are really nice. Given it's a Residence inn it's essentially a spacious studio apartment so being able to have lite groceries was a plus. It's in a good spot from the highway, close enough but far away enough to not hear it. The parking lot filled up quickly next to our room though, not a huge inconvenience but there was still plenty of spaces in the complex.

Although we didnt get our room until around 4:40pm (they were short staffed), check in was smooth with Chris. Chris was nice and friendly and worked with us to get a decent room.

This is a 3 star property with nice grounds, good location, the hotel was quiet and our room was comfortable. We were content as we were tired.

The next day we asked Evie at the front desk if we could be moved because we were staying for a few nights and when the folks above us arrived, they were loud (stomping mostly). Evie was so accommodating and located a different room. We ended up not moving when we learned the folks above us were checking out. Evie alao went out of her way in helping us out with a couple of other small issues. We really appreciated her help and positive attitude (she was attending to several different things at one time). It's always great when folks take an extra step to help. Thank you Evie.

My only suggestion for the hotel is that someone should go to all the rooms annually and do an inventory check. For instance, our room only had one wine glass (a few other items were also missing). If toasters are ever replaced please purchase wide slot. Our bread wouldn't fit for our lunch sandwiches.

There are two tennis courts and a swimming pool. We never had a chance to use but others seemed to enjoy them. We are platinum level with Marriott and travel extensively so we have some experience. All in all, we had a great trip!

The room and Service were amazing! Cleaning staff was helpful and smooth! Ariana (I think her name was)... fantastic! Easy checkin and the manager was super helpful! Friday night tacos with beer was a topping to this stay...HOMEMADE tacos from a local catering company! Yum. Will stay again for sure!

The room was perfect for our needs. The air conditioning worked perfect and the room was clean and beautiful. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast provided was good. I especially liked they had my favorite Chobani Yogurt.

We stayed here for Coachella 22’. Rooms are clean and in good shape. Full size fridge and bathroom. There was a live DJ playing at the pool on Saturday which was cool. The Shuttle stops right in the parking lot to take you to the venue. Shuttle is truly the best way to get in and out of the festival. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was great! It was fresh with plenty of options for everyone,including iced coffee for this mama! The fitness center was clean, large and well equipped also open 24 hours, which is a huge bonus for traveling folks. Also the pool was perfect for families with young children as it's not terribly deep and very warm with plenty of lounge spots and open early and closes late,which just makes sense for people traveling. We took advantage of the outdoor lounge area and fireplace a few times throughout our stay although our balcony was also pleasant and large enough for eight adults and some kids. The room was wonderful and had more than enough space for the kids to spread out in the living area while I cooked in the furnished kitchen. Overall it was well worth the money. We plan on staying again this February, we've found our new hotel for trips to palm desert. My only complaint is that I requested a room with a view of the pool and we got a parking lot view, I'm hoping next time my request will be met.
