OC Hotel Costa Mesa

I read the reviews of this hotel, and was intrigued because of everybody’s great experience. The manager. Jeel Welcomed us upon arrival. He was incredibly friendly and should teach lessons on how great customer service needs to be! He was wonderful he gave us wonderful suggestions to a local restaurant which we tried and was amazing, and gave us the lay of the land. He allowed us to check into our room a little earlier. Our room was beautiful, clean and remodeled! The rainforest shower is beautiful! The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed some time around the saltwater pool. Crystal clean and delightful! This property is very well-maintained! I will definitely be back!

We arrived late on a Thursday night and the hotel was extremely accommodating. They verified our checkin time and someone was there waiting for us. Rooms were clean and quiet! Would highly reccomend for an affordable place to stay close to the beach!

Great place! Been here a few times. Super nice people. Super nice rooms, and breakfast was good, not just carbs but some good breakfast sandwiches. Really close to oc fair too.

This hotel surpassed our expectations! My husband and I booked this hotel for both sides of our family for two days. I believe we had seven rooms. They did a great job of keeping most of our group right by each other.
They allowed us to check in to two of our rooms early so we could put children down for naps, free of charge. They also let us do a very late check out for four of the rooms for a small and very reasonable fee.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space to set up our pack n play.
The shower had great water pressure and was a comfortable size.
The included continental breakfast was a nice selection.
The area was nice and quiet.

All 18 adults and 7 children were very pleased with their stay.

Modern hotel with new furniture. Super clean rooms and excellent service. Special thanks to receptionist Meigan, who is an excellent professional. I will always come back to this hotel!

This is one of the nicest 2 star hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The area was quiet. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. If I am ever in the area, I would be happy to stay here again.

We were in town for the OC half marathon race weekend. It was a great location with clean rooms and good service at a reasonable price.

From check In to check out this hotel and its staff was great. The bedding is great and I slept so well both nights I stayed here. Anna at the desk was very accommodating to my check out time being extended on my last day, as well and I very much appreciated this. the breakfast is very solid and so is their amazing coffee machine. I cannot wait to be back and hope to soon.

OC Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities I needed. The hotel's location was also perfect - close to the Newport beach.
They also serve complimentary breakfast which was impressive to me.
I can highly recommend OC Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the city.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we have absolutely loved it. The staff is friendly and really helpful, the rooms are clean, the price is good, and they have a pretty good breakfast. I'd recommend this place to anyone who chooses to stay in the area.

What a great find. This hotel was so fantastic. Great location, free parking. Very friendly staff. Too cold to use the pool but a very nice setup. Comfort and cleanliness were 100%. Already going back next week for a 2 day quick stay from Los Angeles.

Great value for quality accommodations. Nice service at the front desk. Rooms were clean. Rate was fair. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Perfect stay as we were passing through the area.

We called several hotels while road-tripping. We just needed a place to sleep.

We are doing a full house remodel and popped into town to check out progress.

$350-$420 were prices at chain hotels. That was a lot just to lay our heads. Then a quick search and this darling motel popped up. We called and we were booked at this unknown, to us, motel.

OC motel gets a high rating across the board. Sweet, quaint and cozy. It looks like the owners renovated an old tired hotel with all the favorite big chain amenities.

Beautiful, clean, soft linens & towels, big TV,
Wonderful coffee machine, and continental breakfast which was a BIG surprise given the price.

Update 10/17/2023:

We were so happy to spend another night at this darling boutique hotel. Driving in from Oregon and still remodeling our Newport Beach home. The OC hotel does not disappoint.

Love this hotel. I'm a fan of "easy" in/out hotels; 2 stories, no elevators, parking is close to your room so you don't have to walk through long halls and make multiple trips to your car, no smoking (unfortunately, as a smoker but they have smoking area), the pool/jacuzzi is really nice with abundant towels and space, room service does a great job, and it's right off the 55 Frwy just south of the 73 & 405 for easy/fast access wherever you're going. For the price, compared to most hotels in the area, keep this spot in mind.

What a fabulous hotel! Wonderful staff, easy parking, great breakfast! We can't wait to go back. Very clean, well kept property... The surfer motif in the room is inspiring!

Loved this little renovated getaway by the beach. Great price and wonderful beds. Clean and quiet. I will be back!

Enjoyed our 1 night stay here. Love to see less hotels use carpet! Nice wood floors and tile make the place feel and look much cleaner. Nearby the beach and restaurants. 👍🏼

Staff accommodated my last minute drop in at 12noon and got me checked in fast. For the price have to give this place 5 stars. My room was very clean. Staff was constantly cleaning the building, wiping down hand rails and just taking care of the property. My room smelled clean and room was perfect. Great location too.

Nice room and building. Nice pool/ hot tub area, although the pool doesn't open until 10 AM which is weird in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was pretty limited on choices, but it was free and edible. The water pressure for the shower was definitely lacking - I didn't dare put shampoo in for fear of not being able to rinse it out. Other than that, would definitely stay here again.
