I was referred to two selling agents from my neighborhood from the relocation company handling my move. After meeting with the two agents, I clearly decided on which one of the two I would select. Since the two agents suggested selling prices didn't come within a certain tolerance, the relocation company referred me to Aaron Zapata for a third opinion. I ended up choosing Aaron over the other agent I was so excited to work with because in our initial meeting he was timely, organized, and seemed so confident he could quickly sell my house. Even though Aaron was busy going to jury duty, he was able to get my house up for sale within a week. Sure enough, I got an offer on my house at the first Open House as Aaron so confidently predicted. All throughout the negotiation and escrow process he kept on top of all the details and was very helpful in providing me sound advice. I would highly recommend Aaron Zapata to anyone that has any real estate service needs. He was very professional, experienced, and did everything possible to make sure that the stressful process of selling my home went very smooth.

This is a slightly different kind of review. We are from a Foundation and had an indirect dealing with Aaron Zapata, in which we rented a house from his client where Aaron is the realtor.

After we finished our tenancy in 2015, we were involved in some dispute over the outstanding water bills with Aaron. After a few email exchanges, both parties were able to resolve the situation amicably.

We would like to commend Aaron for being professional and fair throughout, and this review is to show that if there were to be some dispute in the dealings, you can be confident that Aaron is able to deal with it professionally and fairly to reach a win-win situation.

I just wanted to take a moment to share my experience working with Aaron Zapata. My husband and I met Aaron in June 2009. We were frustrated and discouraged, as a lot of home buyers are in a very competitive market. We were on the verge of taking a break from our home search, but Aaron was our sign of hope and determination. I was surprised at how attentive he was with our needs and wants. I never had to wait more than a day for a response and he was always available and flexible with our schedule. That was the key for me to continue working with Aaron. He was very professional, punctual, and communicated well with us and with other parties. As first-time home buyers, purchasing a home was uncharted territory for us, and he really helped us understand all the processes that are involved in making such a huge investment. Just two months and numerous homes later, we found the house we felt was home and put in an offer. It was accepted, and escrow closed in October! It was amazing during the few months of working with Aaron on a daily basis not only my husband and I felt close with him, but my son as well! I have to say, the day we closed escrow was a bitter-sweet moment. We were thrilled that we finally found a place of our own, but that also meant no more Aaron! Without hesitation, I highly recommend Aaron to everybody. It has been a pleasure working with him.

We embarked on this new adventure with Aaron in December of 2008, when we first called him to ask if he could help us find our new home. After seven months, ten offers and more than 100 homes viewed, one of the most difficult and complex real estate transactions was complete. Because of Aaron, we are now in the home that is perfect for our family.
Through the tenuous and nerve racking experience of purchasing a short sale Aaron walked us through the process step by step. If there is an easy short sale, this was not it. At times, we wanted to throw in the towel. Aaron, however, was there to take our numerous worried phone calls and help us sort through all of our options. Not once did Aaron get impatient with us, nor act like our questions were silly or ill-founded. Every time we contacted Aaron, he was happy and upbeat and ready to answer our questions. Aaron is a very hard worker who strives to make all of his clients happy with their real estate transaction.
Not only was Aaron there for us, he was there for the transaction. As it became clear that this escrow was about to fail, Aaron made a phone call every day to the parties involved. As the drop-dead day approached, he made as many as four calls per day on our behalf. We know that had we not had such a persistent realtor working for us, the deal on our home would have never happened.
There are many real estate agents in the Southern California region from whom to choose. We are convinced that Aaron Zapata is the very best. For anyone who wants personal attention to real estate needs, we highly recommend Aaron. He will not disappoint.

We initially contacted Aaron because Zapata Realty was a small shop located in our target area (Brea / YL / East Fullerton) and had good reviews. He did such a terrific job helping us to purchase our home in that area that we turned around and asked him to sell our home in Monrovia immediately thereafter (San Gabriel Valley). We were very happy with the price we were able to obtain in both transactions. When potential derailments came up, he got us back on track and made the process go smoothly.

Interestingly enough, Zapata Realty also represented the buyers of our Monrovia house. This initially made me nervous, but they did a great job. In fact, the buyers were so satisfied that they then asked Zapata Realty to sell THEIR home in the San Gabriel Valley! Please understand how hard it is to represent both sides of a transaction and have it end up where both sides feel like they got a good deal and would want to work with you again.

I don't give my very positive review lightly. By way of background, I would describe most of my experience with realtors before Zapata Realty as generally neutral or even a bit negative. I am a transactional attorney and expect those with whom I work to be responsive, organized and hard working. Plus they actually have to perform well and know their stuff; to help me negotiate an excellent deal and see things in a house or community that I would otherwise miss. Aaron and his team were all of those things, did all of those things, AND they were very friendly and empathetic while they did it. We enjoyed our experience and got good value. Thank you, Aaron!

I know there were lots of hurdles and we had to put forth extra effort. I really think we did experience a Miracle! You were able to get escrow closed in just 4 days after so many obstacles. We have worked with Aaron Zapata twice. The first time was in 2010 when we had to relocate out of state. Mr. Zapata assisted us with the sale of our home. It only took 4 days! The 2nd time we moved back to the area and needed assistance with finding a home. We specifically requested him and was happy to find out that he was available through our relocation program.
