I had the opportunity to work with Dr Chasse for matrix repatterning. Over the course of my life I had sustained many impacts, broken bones and other shocks to my body resulting in stiffness and various pains. I am amazed at how an injury to one part of the body can affect an entirely different part of the body.
Dr Chasse did an analysis and we discussed a plan. After the first session I was able to move in ways I've been unable to do for years. She also gave me exercises that I can continue to use at home. When you need a different approach to physical therapy, Dr Chasse is an excellent resource.

I have seen Dr. Chasse for two issues. Before her I saw multiple physical therapists for pain from degenerative discs in my neck and no relief. Dr. Chasse relieved all my pain and it has never returned. My neurosurgeon was completely in awe. I am seeing her now for another issue and had immediately relief after two visits! Highly recommend!

I am so very grateful to Debora Chasse, owner of Function Ability Physical Therapy, She fixed my stress urinary incontinence!! Really fixed it! I learned about her on a health podcast. I flew in for a week to have multiple sessions with her. Debora is a joy to be around and she so thoroughly knows pelvic floor issues in both men and women and lymph. She's one of THE best practitioners I've ever met!!

Dr Chasse is an absolute dream to work with. If you are looking for a typical physical therapist this is not it. He craft is truly artistic. Her ability to hone in on the needs of your body are almost spiritual. She makes sure that you walk away with the knowledge to care for yourself and understand what is happening in your body. She teaches you ways to supplement you sessions with her and supports you in connecting your mind and body. Highly recommended! If you are done with the typical treatments and want something more, she is it! Hoping to see her again soon!

I have been working at Function Ability PT under Debora Hickman DPT for over a year now and I cannot believe how amazing my experience has been. Dr. Hickman usually takes 1-2 pre-physical therapy students as interns at her office and allows them the opportunity to learn from her. This place is unlike any other physical therapy clinic I have ever worked at or shadowed at (and I have been to several in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles). She is so incredibly in-tune with the body and I am constantly amazed at how she can identify and treat the underlying cause of even the most complex of cases.

I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Chasse for seven weeks now and have noticed significant improvement in my many gastrointestinal tract problems. Before coming I had bad pains in my rib cage and lower intestinal pains which have improved significantly. The Visceral Manipulation has helped me tremendously. My breathing has also improved. I appreciate the individualized and compassionate care I have received from Dr Chasse.

I have been seeing Dr. Hickman since this last February. I am amazed at my results! She has been doing FSM (Frequency Specific Microcurrent), Manual Visceral Manipulation and Manual Lymphatic Draining on me. I have Endometreosis and usually have very painful and heavy menstrual cycles. Also, with breakthrough bleeding and cramping in between periods. For the last 5 cycles I have had very little to no pain. Also, very light bleeding. I can't believe it! I have never felt better! I also no longer have breakthrough bleeding or cramping in between periods. Overall I feel amazing and have more energy during those times. Dr. Hickman has seriously changed my life, I can actually function now. I have been telling everyone I come in contact with about her and my story. I highly recommend her!

I have lived with the symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis for many years, to the point where I manage and deal with it. So, when physical therapy was offered to me, I was very skeptical, “what can physical therapy do for IC?” I am so glad I decided to give it a try. I was very hesitant my first visit, however, by the end of my 2nd visit, I felt relief, and noticed a difference. My doctor taught me a technique I could do at home called MLD, and I was amazed by the results, so worth the time and concentration. My family even noticed, teasing me about my ankles. I definitely notice a difference on the days I do it vs. the days I don’t, the pressure and discomfort are noticeably less. My doctor, Dr. Chasse, also suggested I wear compression nylons/pantyhose. I hate wearing tight clothes, and didn’t like the idea, nor did I want to spend the money for the “good” ones. I purchased a medium grade compression pantyhose and wore them for 10hrs, all day at work, and was surprised at the energy I felt at the end of the day. I usually feel pretty tired by around 2 in the afternoon, and on this day, didn’t even notice it, got home, had energy to even go for a long walk with my husband. I didn’t realize the swollen ankles and feet, as well as the fatigue were all results of this condition, and certain things Dr. Chasse has said are now making sense. Really, honestly, I didn’t even know this all was an option, I am still in the AWE stage, as I only just finished my 3rd visit. I look forward to my next therapy session, and am optimistic about my future.

So far after only a few therapy sessions, I have noticed a big decrease in my leakage esp when it comes out to working out. All these exercises that are given to you definitely help strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. I'm in no way wanting to go though surgery so having this as an option was absolutely great.

I’ve been working with Debbie for about a year I think... she’s one of the best practitioners I’ve ever had. She pieced together my different symptoms and gave me some hope finally. I have some lymphatic issues and it helped me tremendously. Thanks Debbie. Xx

Amazing. Really helped me work through TBI issues. She is extremely knowledgeable about the body, mind, and how it connects. I drove 3 hours several times to see her because I saw results.
