Old school place for Bo kho and gari ga. It satisfying but not the best yet. But the beef tongue is really tender and good

Good spot for breakfast in the morning. Curry is the go to here. Good place to meet a friend or business partner and have a chill breakfast/lunch.

Hidden gem hole in a wall place to have a delicious home cook-like meal especially when it's cold out. The beef stew was so full of flavor and tender. The curry chicken was also delicious! The pate chaud reminds me of a meat filled steam bun but with a flakey outside instead of the steam dough. Everything was so good! Will definitely be going here more often! 😋

There was quite a wait just to get seated, very busy in the morning. Had the Bo kho with bread, it was great. Almost as good as home made. I could of eaten 2 servings for sure.

To those of you who choose to eat a Continental Breakfast when visiting OC, you are missing out in life.

While the peculiar store name threw me off initially, since this restaurant is KNOWN for their bo kho (translates to beef stew), their bo kho is to die for. #6 on the single page menu is where the magic happens. It's got all the right flavors and all the right seasonings. The meat is incredibly tender and the broth is just too good. This is a must-eat place for both locals and tourists. The fruit tart is very on-point as well. Just do it, get the #6.

Old school bò khò taste! Feel like in “Đà Lạt” in Vn, cozy French culture design and atmosphere!

Their signature dish is beef tongue lagu with banh mi, and trust me, this is a complete different texture than what you usually have, it's soft and silky and super delicious
Their banh mi xiu mai is also very good where you can have a little of everything: mushroom, green pea, pork meat, pork fat, going with the tomato sauce to make it full of every flavor

Came here passing by we saw a lot of people out so we tried it out. The beef stew is very good with the bread. You read it right they don't serve rice. Just noodles and soup. We also tried different croissant 🥐 and it was good. It tasted fresh even the soup and stews are good. Definitely a must try.

Best place for the best flavored beef stews and chicken curry stews in my opinion, and has been for a long time. Although the place is much more modern looking with newer furnitures; still similar tastes. Great place to stop by for brunch, or just simply for some sweet treats with their well known bakery selections and fruit cakes, or just simply a Cafe togo. Has always been my favorite, and most likely will be for a long time.

This is a nice, bright little bakery cafe with good fruit tarts and some of the better Vietnamese beef stew I have had, if today was a good indication. My friends buy fruit tarts here from time to time, and I've eaten them at their house. Good crust, fresh fruit, creamy custard, can't go wrong. I have never actually bought one, so I cannot comment on the value. However, today I was meeting my friend for lunch, and we were in the neighborhood and in the mood for Vietnamese food (not a bad geographical location for that state of mind), after running through the litany of usual options I mentioned stew, actually with Lynda Sandwiches on my mind (I like theirs as well). So friend says "I know just the place" and we wound up here. The parking lot was an adventure - not a lot of spots during this Wednesday lunchtime (probably because it is way too small for as busy as this plaza is) - but we found one eventually and went in. The cafe is very small, with a bakery counter and then a few tables near the window. The lunch menu consisted of beef stew, red wine beef, beef stew noodles, and four or five other similar dishes - each for around eight or nine bucks. There is also a noodle menu from attached ramen place, next door. The decor is simple, but nice - this isn't a dingy hole in the wall, but a homey, well maintained, and comfortable if utilitarian space. Most of the tables were occupied and everyone had either the stew or pastries and coffee. The lady took our order, and minutes later two plates of beefy goodness were in front of us, piled with cilantro, onions, and jalapenos, with a baguette on the side. It tasted great, with that subtle balance of spice that the best vietnamese food always has. I ate mine quickly, using the baguette to soak up the broth. It was delicious, and that, in combination with the general warm friendliness of the place, will bring me back again and again. It's always great to add a new place to the rotation!

Please go here and get as many fruit tarts as you can possibly eat. The fruits are incredibly fresh and colorful. The party is delicate, buttery, and flaky. The bake is fantastic and you get a great crunch underneath a bed of fresh fruits and a thin layer of custard. No better dessert has ever been invented.

This place has the best paté chaud (equivalent to meat empanada of Spain). I’ve eaten it so many places and always come back here. Make sure you order in advance because they sell out early in the day regardless whether it’s weekday or weekend!

The beef stew is delicious. Most come for the food but cheesecake is the hidden gem here.

It is a bit small and can get busy at times, but has a lively atmosphere. Their bo kho (beef stew) served with bread is pretty solid. They are also known for large fruit tarts with flakey crust that are a popular replacement for typical cakes at parties.
