We recently celebrated our son’s wedding at the Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach, and we cannot express enough how exceptional our experience was! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in great hands.

The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful, with its breathtaking oceanfront location providing the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. A huge thanks to Melissa Huerta, the Senior Catering Manager, who did an outstanding job helping us plan multiple events. Her flawless coordination ensured every detail was handled with precision and perfection.
The service was exceptional – everything was impeccably organized, allowing the event to unfold seamlessly from start to finish. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Hilton support staff, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. Their professionalism and attentiveness were evident throughout the celebration, making all our guests feel welcome and well-cared for.

And the food? Simply outstanding! Chef Lewis outdid himself, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. The drinks were excellent, offering a wide variety to suit everyone's tastes – a special shout-out to Richard and his team for their stellar service.

We are incredibly grateful to the Waterfront Hilton for playing such an integral role in making our son’s wedding day truly unforgettable. Thank you for helping us create cherished memories that will last a lifetime!

Have been visiting this hotel for many years. One of the reasons I keep coming back is the amazing location where virtually every room, if not all, has some view of the ocean right across the street. If you don't want to swim in the ocean, there are two large pools on the property, and it is within walking distance of downtown attractions and nightlife. The housekeeping staff are excellent and help keep the rooms bright and fresh. Always a pleasure to come back.

Nice hotel. Clean. Employees were very friendly and helpful. There are several places to eat at the hotel so you don't have to go far if you don't want to. There are 2 pools there with jacuzzis. They have multiple lounge chairs. They also have cabanas that you can reserve. They are kept very clean and the employees are always nearby to help or answer any questions.

Recently stayed 5 nights at this resort and it met my expectations. Place is beautiful. Pools are great for kids and the walking distance to the beach is great. Drinks are the bar aren't too shabby either. We'll gladly stay here again.

Valet does need some help. Depending on time and day it can get crazy.

A beautiful property, nicely maintained and very friendly staff. I had a great time here except for one small minor issue.

The issue was with rooftop bar on 9th floor and I left a separate review with one star if anyone is curious... But overall hotel was very well manicured, clean, rooms were spacious, not big but big enough, well designed so you can see the ocean, they give you champagne at your check-in, great service, they're elevator lines can be a little long....

Their restaurant at Cabo on first floor is great, their pool is fun and very close to the beach so we can just walk there even for a quick night stroll where I took my picture.. their rooftop bar is good concept but the management should consider upgrading their service level to match rest of the hotel. I was told that they are not managed by the hotel & they have their own rules. For example I was not able to walk in there with a drink that I purchased from first floor bar...

Henry's their fine dining restaurant by the way is completely opposite. Their manager there is very active, very professional and very accommodating. He actually dealt with some crazy people right before us and I saw them managing it -professionally. Overall great experience!!!

Still our favorite resort and location year after year in all of California. Location. Cleanliness. Staff. Amenities. Everything is always perfect. Only complaint I ever have is Hilton not changing the comforters out between stays. Other than that. I'm always comfortable and know everything is super clean and top notch. Food is great too. The best pools! Just a minute walk to the beach. We come every year and can never commit to trying anywhere new because it's that good!

Stayed here with my mom and sister. Every employee we encountered went above and beyond! Service was a 10/10, including room service, restaurants, bell hops and front desk help. I would go as far to say this has been my favorite stay at any hotel! Will definitely come back. Thanks for such a great experience!

Hilton is our go to when traveling with the family. The hotel staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable as possible from the valet to check in to room service. Every single person takes pride in what they do. Make sure to ask about their beach packages. Our family enjoyed a day at the beach under a private canopy and beach chairs along with lunch. I highly recommend purchasing that package.

This hotel honestly doesn't disappoint. Yes it's pricey but the amenities are great, the service is amazing, rooms are clean, restaurants are great, pools are clean and big and the beach is literally across the beach. Also they threw in complimentary champagne for our message, upgraded us to a suite for 100 dollars more and gave us a hour extra complimentary checkout so yeah again the service is 10/10.

We brought our grandsons. We loved all the restaurants and convenient store to get gelato. We sat in the enclosed fire table area to eat. Excellent breakfast buffet. Awesome service. We ate up on the rooftop with the grandsons a few times, great view, no kids after 7pm. Lots of games set up at pool 2, pool one was huge, shallow end for the toddler to walk. Slides for kids 48" and above. Large hot tub. Beach chairs provided for the beach day. Lots of restaurants and activities.

So many good things to say about this location. Great building, airy high ceilings, right across from the beach, near all the bars n restaurants. Awesome rooftop bar, great food. Been here w family, on business trips, and for a convention. Incredibly helpful staff. Top notch customer service from the front desk to the restaurant staff. Super accomadating. Cant recommended enough.

I stayed at this location last week. It was my first time visiting California and this hotel was perfect. Eric was so helpful with providing food options in the area and Amanda made the checking out process a breeze. The level of customer service provided was amazing and the hotel is fabulous. Would definitely recommend

Great family friendly (and dog friendly!) hotel! We stayed here for a weekend stay-cation. The kids enjoyed the water slides, and the Dj playing music. Plenty of lawn games on one of the outdoor decks. The restaurant on property is great!

This is by far my favorite resort I’ve ever stayed , and that includes 5 star resorts . The customer service is top notch . The location is perfect . Front desk is always friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to have had Molly as our bell person . I believe she was the bell captain and you could see why . She was so professional and on top of everything. She even gave us suggestions for local haunts and inside info on activities. It truly felt like we were amongst family . Thank you to all the staff for the experience of a lifetime. We will absolutely be back !!!

What separates this hotel from all others is the staff. They are friendly, professional, and I didn't see a bad hire in the group. If you can, get a suite. You won't be disappointed.

Also the churro waffle for breakfast is really good.

Hi wanted to say we got the best treatment from Amanda B At the Hilton water front hotel Huntington Beach! She was so sweet and went out of her way for me and my mom for my sons birthday! I just wanted to say thank u to her and she made our stay amazing!! Her kindness was everything

Honestly exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort itself is fantastic with great options for everything you need. The rooftop bar is amazing. The room was super comfortable, great bed, clean and had an incredible view. I would happily stay here again. Highly recommend.

From making our reservation with management to the checkout of our vacation, we received 5 star treatment. The Hilton Waterfront is our home away from home. We have stayed there almost every year in the past 5 years. The staff is exceptional and always makes sure we have all we need. Our family includes a 12 and 9 year old, plus my father who suffers from dementia I will always recommend the Hilton.

Our family stayed here as a close quick getaway. Although pricey, it was really worth the short stay. The room was very comfortable for the 4 of us. The hotel is very family friendly. The grounds are very nice. We ate at the hotels Cabo wabo. The staff was always great and the food was pretty good. The convince of the beach being directly across the street is what brought us here. The hotel has complementary beach things for you to use. 1st come 1st serve. But it is definitely a great complementary thing to have. Wagons, small beach chairs, boogie boards, sand pails, towels, etc. The pool is also a fun family thing. The water slide was fun. The rooftop bar was beautiful and very relaxing on a non busy evening/ night. We went twice. And experienced the slow night and the busy night. It's not very big so only so many tables are there. But it's still a good experience.
