Cozy Inn Costa Mesa

I stayed here two nights last weekend. I actually booked this without even looking because a family member had stayed there previously and said it was good. Then, fast forward about a week before my trip... I looked at the ratings and reviews. There were soo many bad reviews and i got super nervous, I am a 21yr old girl traveling with my very young cousin so I was concerned. Let me tell you how shocked I was! I had an amazing experience here! We beat the traffic and got in 5 hours earlier than our original check in time... the man in the office was sooo kind and understanding! he had our room ready asap! We stayed in room 8. The room was super clean! I also ran into multiple room service gals and they were super sweet! To debunk previous reviews: there were no bed bugs, no mold, it smelt nice.. the pillows where amazing, showers were wonderful and the water pressure/temp got really hot...absolutely perfect. There were deadbolts on the door and it was super safe. The tv worked perfectly, AC unit worked wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints.
I can see how others can confuse old paint peeling due to humidity (as it often does in California) for mold (even tho it isnt) but this was hardly an issue in our room. Overall 10/10 I would absolutely stay here again. The costumer service was so wonderful, and they all made you feel soo welcome! P.S. I got my deposit back 2 days after we left. So do not always believe what you see in other reviews!!!

Juan A provided excellent service! Throughout our conference, he ensured our snacks were stocked and kept the coffee flowing all day.

I really enjoyed my last stay at the Cozy Inn a couple days ago. I’m Impressed with their improvements. The rooms are big, carpets were clean, and bed/sheets were much more comfortable. I think the prices are always very reasonable, just don’t ask for late check out.
Yes- towels: I could have used another one, And a wash cloth ;)

Hands down the best bang-for-the-buck motel I’ve ever stayed at. My girlfriend & I got their “king suite” for a night and the towels were cutely folded into swans with roses for Valentine’s Day. The king suite is on the corner with no neighboring rooms, and it’s the biggest motel room I’ve ever seen. Bed was comfy and clean, there’s some scuffs and scratches on the walls but hey, for about $100 a night who cares? Front desk people are friendly too.

For the price, this place is great! Cozy Inn, please don't increase your prices! It's about 13min away from everything which was perfect for us. It's quiet, tucked in, and easy to get to. The people at the front desk are super helpful and friendly. There is even a little 4ft pool if you need to cool off in the summer. The rooms have some wear and tear, but nothing that prevented us from having a romantic night. We had to ask for toilet paper and the fridge still had some stuff in it from the previous people, but again this is totally okay given the fact that this is a cheap place. The beds were comfy, the towels were clean, and the shower works. We were on a budget, and this place gave us what we needed! Thank you!

Excellent value for money. Cozy inn went above and beyond my expectations. Immaculate rooms, soaps, fridge, microwave, located right next to the high way and excellent friendly service.
After lots of horrible motels, for a very affordable price the Cozy inn proved to be really cozy! If you want something cheap in this area, search no more.

When I tell y’all that looks can be deceiving they can ! Me and my boyfriend stumbled upon the Cozy Inn yesterday and to be honest our expectations weren’t high. We figured it would be another travel lodge with the mediocre accommodations a low budget hotel has to offer , BUT we were so wrong ! When I tell you that this location IS SO WORTH YOUR MONEY ! And it’s budget friendly! The beds are SO comfy ! The water pressure is right the rooms are spacious and CLEAN ! The property is peaceful and quite , tons of cameras around for your safety a very nice clean pool . The staff and managers are so welcoming and helpful. Everything you would look for in a stay you can find it here. I will definitely be back😊!!

No more motel 6. This place beats them hands down and more. They have huge room size, bigger tv's and better beds along with high dollars amenities like in room refrigerator and freezer, in room microwaves and coffee maker there's even a hair dryer in the bathroom things motel 6 couldn't even think of giving. The staff is very nice and most important it is very clean . Prefect place for beach and Costa Mesa. All for about $12 less then motel 6 per night .

Definitely cozy. Stayed for 2 nights. Pretty close to every place we planned on going. Didn’t use many amenities. Only slept in the room for the most part. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Not noisy where we stayed. Accommodated a bridal party of a decent size so that was nice as well.

Very large comfy room, the bed was comfortable, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again, it is definitely the nicest place for the price in this area. Everything worked in the room, I had no issues, and I enjoyed my stay. :)

The price is great! The staff is great! Rooms have coffee makers, fridge, and microwave. Everything you will need.

Place rocks. Nice clean remodel. The people running the front office are so nice. Convenient to everything will def stay here again if I'm ever in the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Very clean too.

This was not a vacation so The accommodations at the Cozy Inn were perfect for what I needed, a clean room, good location, easy access to everything, friendly accommodating owners, lights, Tv, and Mircowave worked. Comfortable king bed. Spacious room. Clean smelling. Would definitely stay again.

The Cozy Inn was indeed cozy, and it was an overall pleasant stay. The service was fantastic: when we tried to check in early, the staff were accommodating and flexible with our schedule. The room was pretty standard, with A/C, TV, and wifi. Fantastic value for the price, overall a solid A grade, would book again.

As other reviewers said, you usually get what you pay for. However, the Cozy Inn turned out to be better than I expected. My single room was very spacious and extremely clean. It was nice to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room and the TV was much larger than most hotel rooms. I was surprised to find out that I had satellite TV as well. I called to let them know I would be arriving later than the office hours and the staff member/owner was very kind and accommodated my late arrival. The location is very convenient to the beaches and freeways and the neighborhood felt very safe. I would definitely stay at the Cozy Inn again.

My son and I stayed in Costa Mesa for two weeks in June of 2018. I called all of the hotels around the area where we would be doing our activities. Cozy Inn gave me a fantastic rate for a two week stay. The location is perfect. Minutes away from Newport beach and centrally located in an area with so much to do. Everything including Disneyland is no more than a 20 minute drive. The owners were fantastic and accommodating. They gave us great recommendations on places to eat and fun things to do in our down time. The rooms were clean and spacious. All the essentials were covered. Best budget hotel in the city without a doubt. No washing machines on the premises so if you are staying for a while than you'll need to visit the laundry mat down the street. Pool was clean and outside maintenance was done daily. Thank you again for making our stay so enjoyable and I will be staying at the Cozy Inn again soon!

The Cozy Inn in Costa Mesa is my go to place to stay. It’s very affordable. It’s off the main road so it’s quiet. They always everything I need. Steve the manger is great and always helps me out. If you book directly through them it’s cheaper. I highly suggest it.

Good location. Nice size room. Lots of upfront rules including quiet hours but I'd stay again for sure.

Room was fantastic for the price. Shower head was massive and bathroom clean. Also loved the big mirror with vanity lights above it. Fridge microwave ac was all included so everyday needs were covered. The staff even helped us with a booking issue that was going to charge us $80 and it charged nothing at all. ONLY issue was that the wifi turned off on our last night. Couldn't connect to it the morning of checkout either. Besides that loved being there.
