This book store has great vibes and it’s very nice to spend time there with a good book and cup of coffee! they have big variety of books for all ages! I bought few books there and one of them was to my coworker. Sam helped me to choose both books and honestly it was 100% match with what I needed.
Now it’s my place to go before or after work when I want to enjoy my book or do some work stuff.

Wandered in here. It was a really nice environment to poke around for a while. Came away with a couple of second hand cookbooks.

I’m so happy I am house sitting for my parents in Tustin and found this bookstore. Before talking with the owners, it was already apparently that this store cared about the community. When I asked the man behind the coffee counter if I may speak with the manager or owner, I didn’t expect that it was the owner himself. It’s rare to find a business that is so personal nowadays. Normally you don’t see the owners, what to speak of chatting with them and getting to know them! Very lovely and warm vibes in the store. Customers from the community would just come with their dogs and hang out. People can sit at the bar tables facing out the window to study or work. I found 3 useful books to purchase right away just browsing around.

I love this place. It's such a chill vibe. A great variety of books. I bought a used book from here which I am enjoying atm. I love that I can reuse a book. The words are still beautiful :) Oh, and I also bought one of those cool pens with different colors. Cute knick knacks ^_^

Great bookstore. Lots of character. Epitome of a family-run business; the owners are working the business, they contribute to the community, and they ARE customer service. Even if you don't need the books, their coffee is fantastic and it's a great place to hang out, work, relax. Great secret outdoor patio in the back. Wonderful customers. Wonderful vibe.

I have to say that I am so incredibly thankful to discover this amazingly beautiful store here in Old Tustin!! I drove by about a week ago and first saw it and thought I would come check it out. THEN, I read online that it was one of the only stores in Orange County that had signed copies of Dave Grohl's new book Storyteller. Unfortunately, the signed copy was sold, BUT!! I WAS ONLY TOO HAPPY TO BUY A PRESALE ticket for the next shipment of regular unsigned copies. However, because of the location, and because it is the only store around the OC that has the special "vibe" I would love to see if Dave Grohl would do a in store? Maybe a very special limited engagement type thing? Anyway, I met Sam and her husband Mike and they are some of the most neighborly people who you'll ever meet. Super fun to chat with! They have it all here, used books, new books, coffee, couches, cool music, a place for the kids to read, a gorgeous patio, ambiance, and fine writing materials to help you research, read, and create your own great novel!! I told them that I might set up a beanbag in the back and camp out!! Well, if you're like me and love these kind of places to hangout in, you're certainly NOT going to get that at B&N. Nope, you have to come here and feel at home. Book nerds as well as anyone looking for refuge should find this a nice island to escape to....if even for just an hour or two!

One of the very few third spaces left in oc. The owners choose great books to have on their shelves, they're invested in our community and even run a community garden across the street to donate produce to local food banks. They also host book clubs, fix it fairs, and sketching groups among other magical things you might discover in their beautiful historic location. Also, as an avid coffee lover and drinker, I highly recommend getting coffee from Tolima inside the store.

I love this place! They have a fantastic selection of new and used books, a magical children's book section, a welcoming patio out back, chess sets out front, comfy seating inside, and goods from local artisans for sale. They also have a great coffee shop inside called Tolima Coffee Co. where the co-owner Mike makes great drinks. Arvida is the definition of a small business; the owners Sam and Mike are always available with a book recommendation and a smile. They will order any book for you that they don't already stock, and host several community activities every month, including Fix-it Fairs, calligraphy classes, book and movie clubs, creative writing classes, art clubs, book readings, and so much more. In a world that seems to get more impersonal and automated every day, Arvida is a breath of fresh air. It's a community hub as much as it is a business. You'll love it here.

Love this place! Sam and Mike are the real deal! Support your local, independent bookstore! I try to stop in here at least once a month and bring friends when I can. I love perusing the used books. Great selection! And, they are so good about special ordering new books for me. I am also quite fond of the cards, stickers, and gifts (soaps, candles, and everything else!). They are a wonderful resource in the community and host many in-person events.

Arvida is the bookstore of my dreams. They sell both new and used books, have a magical kids section where I often stock up on used books for a few dollars and even have an under-the-staircase Harry Potter nook. Their coffee is excellent as well. Happy to have a local alternative to Amazon and Barnes and Noble!

I have visited this bookstore several times. The coffee is great. The used books are well organized and gone through. It is a great place to go and just browse and read. The people are so nice it is amazing! Why buy new books when the price is so much better here.

Cool spot in lovely Old Town Tustin. Local art on the walls, a nice selection of new and used books. And a coffee counter to boot! Had a banned book section proudly on display ✊ love to see it. Let freedom read!

Very cute bookshop that sells new and used books and serves coffee. They’re also engaging the community with multiple book clubs and a new literary journal, The Arvida Review!

It is hard to put into words how wonderful Arvida Book Co. is and what a tremendous impact they have had on the community of Tustin. Not only have they provided a space for everyone to gather and share their love of literature, but they are constantly uplifting other businesses and creative entrepreneurs in the area. It has been an honor to see them grow over the last couple years! I can think of no better way to spend my Saturday morning than grabbing a coffee and browsing the bookshelves. Sam, Mike, and the team that works to keep Arvida up and running, THANK YOU. Keep up all the amazing work that you are doing!!!

Very quaint and adorable bookstore with delicious coffee. They had a great section for children as well which was a really nice appeal. Can't wait to go back!

Here's an update, it's been a year and I can't say enough good things about the store and the coffee inside. Mike and Sam and their entire staff has always been kind, welcoming, and ready with a suggestion for a new drink or new read.

My partner and I love everything about Arvida. The atmosphere, the coffee, the owners and the staff are all welcoming and perfect for the type of independent and used bookstore we're looking for.

If you're visiting Tustin or a local it's worth your time to visit.
