I'm trying to figure out how Jamie Carper attended 5 community Colleges and still made it to law school. CCC is awesome.

I purchased a textbook and a lab kit at the college bookstore. I dropped the online course that needed these materials the first week of class, on Friday at 4:30pm. I was not expecting to drop this course, which is why I didn’t do it sooner and returned the books. As soon as I dropped the course, I contacted the bookstore with the intent to return the course materials I had purchased. Their return policy states that “A full refund will be given in your original form of payment if textbooks are returned during the first week of classes with original receipt.” The bookstore refused to issue a refund because they did not receive the items during their hours of operation on Friday. I do not live in the area. There is no way I could have sent the textbook and lab kit I purchased in time when I dropped the course the first week. Their return policy does not state that the books need to be returned during hours of operation OR how online purchases are to be returned.

Their return policy is terrible and I feel robbed!

Save your money and buy your textbooks elsewhere!!!!!!

I have attended five community colleges, one university, and law school. Coastline's bookstore manager, Martha Morales, is thee rudest and unprofessional employee I have ever encountered at any school I have attended.
I ordered two textbooks to be sent to my friend located in another city--who's correct shipping address was inputted. I then input my billing address. Yet, somehow, this bookstore screwed it all up and got the shipping wrong--and they want to charge me for another $9.99 for S&H.
What a joke. I attended a few online classes with Coastline years ago and frequently recommended them as a great online option for those wanting to further their education. Never again will anyone get such a recommendation from me.
