Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

I was hesitant to do Disneyland at all. However, this stay really brought it all together. This hotel is incredibly beautiful. The direct access to the park made it so easy to leave a family member to nap and then swing by to get them. As much as I love Disney world- it's so large that you'll never have the level of convenience that theirs hotel can provide with access to the 2 parks. The staff was amazing! The hospitality, exceptional. I would definitely do it again.

This was oir first time the parking was 3 hours free, we went to dine the all you can be buffet with the characters. Tips: The characters aren't always available, so check prior to making a res that you're getting what you want. The food was amazing but a little small for a buffet. Could be cause it was breakfast. The characters are nice, and they all keep going around to the table the entire time. There are so many pictures and memories now. It's a bit pricey, but considering what you get, including parking, it's well worth the bucks. Highly recommended, especially for the younger ones. Ages 2 and under are free, and it was roughly around 155 for 3 adults to kids under 3.

Pricey, but worth it! The entire experience is worthy of a Disney hotel. Can’t beat the early access to the parks (make sure you know which days have access since that has changed) the valet is full service hotel meaning they’ll unpack your car load up your stuff and take it to your room. 5 star service!!! The rooms are amazing and amenities are great. If you want to treat yourself, choose this hotel!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had the most magical experience ever. The food was incredible. The room was incredible. I would stay here again even without plans to go into the parks!

Did a family trip with my SIL and her 2 boys. What a fun experience this was. I've never stayed in a Disney property before, and I was impressed with the service. Everyone was so gracious and helpful. That is 1 thing that Disney does well. Service. We were made to feel special and our every need met. I do wish that I was told that there was a microwave on the floor in the ice room when I asked for a microwave. I was just told it was only for guests with special needs. Which I understand, but letting us know there was a communal one we could use could've been very helpful.

Beautiful hotel! It has a gift shop and amazing lobby! Great restaurants! You are able to walk to Downtown Disney, California Adventures and Disneyand! They offer valet parking and self parking options

We love coming to this hotel. There is a great atmosphere here. In the lobby they have a TV playing Disney cartoons the kids can watch on little chairs and 2 little rocking chairs! The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. The pool area is really nice. We love the Craftsman Grill food. I also really like the fact that there is an entrance directly into CA Adventure Park from the hotel. It makes it so easy.

Amazing place to stay. The staff is incredibly helpful and are fun to interact with. Hotel rooms are nice and clean and the amenities they provide are very useful. Will definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time and experience with our stay here. I had heard mixed reviews from family and friends that had stayed previous and I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the price tag, but it was worth every penny. Depending on your style of attending Disney this hotel has everything. If you’re going to spend all day at the park and rope drop this is it. If you’re going to spend half day and lounge by their incredible pools this is it. If you’re going to dine for the breakfast or drink and dinner at night this is it. You’re literally right in the middle of everything so after a long day at Disney you’re never too far from your room. We dined at the poolside outdoor restaurant for lunch and the nachos were perfect for the two of us. Our room was great, nothing too special but the bed was comfy and the shower stayed hot and that what I care about most. Having the director entrance to California adventure is awesome.

Absolutely wonderful! We were hesitant that it wouldn't live up to the reputation or be worth the extra cost, but it definitely did! Best Hotel we've ever stayed at. The beds were incredibly comfortable, it was beautiful inside and out, the lobby is just gorgeous and even with a lot of families moving through the hotel it was still relaxing and not too noisy. The pools were fun and the Storytellers Character Breakfast is a MUST DO!

Rooms are cute and themed. Some details are in need of an update, however, it's understandable given the amount of traffic that comes through the hotel. The room is pleasant but not where I would expect most folks' time to be spent. Service is top notch, of course, and the location cannot be beat given proximity and magic hour early entry.

Everyone on the staff was very friendly, enormously helpful, and cheerful. The room was clean, neat, and we'll designed. The hotel's location gave easy access to Downtown Disney. The restaurant and room service food was all fabulously delicious.

Wonderful 2 bedrooms with view of the park and also view of the beautiful trees on the 3 rd floor.
The 2 bedrooms are so spacious for our party of 4 guest and so charming.
On evening in the lobby, the pianist and the young singer were excellent.
The swimming pool are in a very nice area but are very crowded after 2.00 pm on afternoon.
It’s was not our first time … we will definitely book again this one in the futur

The hotel has a great locaton with a wonderful view of Downtown disney. The Digital key feature was really stressful and you have to use the app to get in your room and doesn't work smoothly. Staff was very wonderful and Rick was helpful and gave a mini-tour. I did love the hotel in all, 5/5 stars.

Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff are friendly, especially the room service employee Reshmi. Thank you very much for the chocolate and the card. The hotel takes time to get to the Disney parks. There is a beautiful swimming pool and there is music in the afternoon. I loved the hotel.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The service, rooms, location, and cleanliness far exceeded our expectations! The rooms were incredibly nice, modern, and clean. And, the fact that you can walk out of the hotel and directly onto one of the Disney parks was a HUGE perk!

This is a premium resort where you will pay for the experience and customer service. Everyone is there to help you and the grounds are spectacular. The views of the parks are great and the extra benefit of your own private entrance is worth the extra cost. The atmosphere you experience is second to none and the spa on site is definitely world class.

Always a treat to stay at the Grand, and this time for my birthday weekend! Had an incredible time, our views of the courtyard were lovely, and it was nice to have the monorail buzzing around since our room was so close to the track (didn't take away from the experience at all, for those who might be concerned). In order to make a stay here fit in the budget, we did a hybrid hotel trip. Two nights off-property at our favorite affordable hotel, and then two nights at the Grand. It's so hard to stay anywhere else on property!

We have stayed at Disneyland parks multiple times, but never had an opportunity to stay here. It did not disappoint! Great service, awesome staff and close walk to the parks. Going to be our go to from now on!

Rooms are clean, comfortable, very homey. The bars are not too pricey and the drinks and food are great. Some unique items like corn dog nachos too.
The hotel has great places to lounge and relax with a drink, fantastic decor and atmosphere.
