Fantastic Stay at The Richland Hotel – Perfect for Business and Family!

We recently stayed at The Richland Hotel in Orange, CA for a business trip with the family, and our experience was nothing short of excellent. The location is unbeatable, conveniently situated near restaurants, shopping, and easy access to major routes, which made both business and family outings a breeze.

From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodated our every need. They were professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive to both the adults and children in our group, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Our room was spotless, and you could tell that great care is taken in maintaining both the common areas and guest rooms. This was especially important for us traveling with family, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail.

Overall, The Richland Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you’re traveling for business or with family, this hotel offers the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We got married at The Richland and we loved every moment of it, from the moment we toured till we checked out of their attic suite. Sarah, Bree, the 24 Carrots Catering team and The Richland team were so attentive and so helpful in communication throughout the planning process and the day of. Our stay was so relaxing after our hectic but beautiful day. All of our guests kept complimenting the venue as well.

Awesome hotel! Our family stayed here on a family trip for Disneyland where we wanted to get some quiet time at night away from the parks. Great location about 15 minutes from the parks, plus Old Towne Orange seems like a neat neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The Richland staff was super-nice and helpful. The room was wonderfully clean, amenities were solid and the beds were comfortable. Easy parking situation. Zero complaints. Would stay here again without question.

The Richland has exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail. The location offers ability to walk to all the shops at the Circle and to Chapman University. Very convenient and charming. And the room was simply stunning—elegant and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a top-notch experience!

This place is amazing! I have stayed a couple of times now and I feel so at home and relaxed here. I have now stayed in The Cottage and in a King room. Both were perfect. They are decorated so nicely and everything is so fresh and clean. Perfect location as you can walk to Old Town Orange and enjoy all their cute little shops and a wide variety of restaurants. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

The Richland is such an Orange, CA GEM! I've photographed two weddings here, have more on the books and absolutely love how quaint this little venue is. The staff is always prompt, friendly and don't even get me started on how incredible the food is. I can't wait to be back for many more weddings!

We booked our wedding here after having a very poor experience with our previously booked venue. It was honestly the best decision we could have made! It’s an all in one ceremony and reception space. The staff was super responsive to any request, and the overall experience was simply amazing. The venue itself is impeccable, stylish, and gorgeous! So many accommodations and just an overall beautiful venue. Highly recommend this venue!

We had a wedding here and it was awesome, our guests loved it.
Food is catered by 24 Carrots and owns this venue, so the service is seamless. Bree was exceptionally helpful and accommodating for our wedding.

Our stay at The Richland cottage was outstanding! The rooms in the main hotel are great as well! We loved the thoughtful design aesthetic. The location is perfect and we enjoyed walking to the many shops and restaurants in Orange. Such a cute town - so glad The Richland is now an option!

Our stay at The Richland was beyond amazing and blew away any expectations we had. The staff was SO accommodating and friendly and we can't say enough how welcomed we felt. They thought of every little detail in the design of the room, and it was so comfortable and cute.

The bar/restaurant was just as fantastic and we has a wonderful dinner both nights we were there - paired with excellent cocktails.

My daughter and I stayed at the Richland in June 2023 for one night. We arrived early and they very kindly accommodated an early check-in for us and also allowed us to store our luggage in the room the next day as we spent the day in Disneyland and didn’t return until that evening. They were super generous with advice about the area and getting around via Ubers. They also took the time to genuinely inquire about our activities while we were in Orange and Anaheim. The room was also lovely, chic and well appointed. I truly hope to stay here again in the near future.

I just spent last week at The Richland Hotel in Orange, CA. It is a fabulous, stylish, comfortable and trendy new boutique hotel within walking distance of downtown Orange. There is also a great onsite lounge and restaurant with creative cocktails and delicious food. Book this hotel if you are in the area. You will love it. The staff was really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful too!
The room is super comfortable with luxury details. Everything was so clean! The design, sheets, bedding, furniture and amenities are top of the line. AND each room has its only steamer which was so convenient as I was on a business trip. There is also a refrigerator, bathrobe and high end toiletries by Cowshed. Really great stuff.

It’s almost like stepping back in time between the horse drawn carriage days giving way to street cars and the 60’s -70’s vibe of the local Chapmen university artsy culture.

This hotel stands out because of the genuine hospitality of the staff.

There is a lot of great food and intriguing shopping opportunities near by.

We had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend stay! The room was very cute and a short walk to the square with coffee shops, restaurants and stores. I did not see the onsite bar open at all while we there, so we did not take advantage of that aspect and checked in after hours through an app for room access! The mocktail welcome drink waiting for us in the mini Smeg fridge was a sweet touch.

This is a great little boutique hotel near Chapman University. Would highly recommend it! We didn't see the bar open while we were there, but would have enjoyed having a drink there, too. Also, the two people working the front desk (one was Katherine) were very kind and helpful!

Visited The Richland tonight and what a wonderful experience. We stopped in for a cocktail after walking around Orange’s delightful downtown. The bartender was fabulous and we tasted several of their special drinks….My favorite was their take on a spritz…so delicious, refreshing and aromatic. My husband loved the vodka, Pimm’s and ginger cocktail. The space is in a lovingly restored/reimagined historic home. It feels like a private club without feeling precious. We had a few of the shareable menu offerings and really enjoyed everything…but you must order their chocolate chip cookie and salted caramel ice cream. The cookie comes out still warm and gooey…a perfect ending to a terrific evening.

The Richland is a must visit & stay in quaint Orange. The overall vibe and attention detail is unmatched, exactly what you want from a boutique hotel. The guest rooms are cozy, unique and the beds are extremely comfortable. The food and cocktails are delicious and the "living room" is the perfect place to hang with friends. Can't wait to visit again.

From the moment we arrived until we checked out, we were always greeted with a smile and a willingness to help if needed. The ladies at the front desk were awesome and suggested some great places to eat during our stay. The location is great centrally located by the "Orange Circle" giving us lot's of choices on things to do.
We would 100% stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.

Absolutely loved every, single bit of my stay at The Richland - from the friendly staff, to the pristine rooms (and everything in between) - I cannot talk highly enough of this gorgeous place! The location is just the cherry-on-top because you have everything within walking distance and John Wayne Airport a quick Uber away. I cannot wait to return in the future!
