If you want a memory of Monterey, this is the place to get it. They have metalwork, glass, clothes, stuffed animals, woodwork, and more. All high quality, supporting the aquarium, and some items even support other causes. Look for the tags and the markers as they will give you a lot of information on where your money is going.

A definite must on any trip to Monterey. Little kids may have a difficult time after 2 hours. 3 to 4 hours is enough time for most adults.

Attention for new Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz counties residents: admission for these three county resident is free in the beginning of December every year. For example, free admission from Dec 1-9 this year (2018).

The Monterey Bay Aquarium gift and bookstore are amazing! Tremendous service and amazing up cycled materials.

Too tempting and filled with amazing items. Daughter loved the stuffed penguin I got her.

Overpriced but still fun

Nice things but incredibly overpriced. There was a pen station where pen's had names inscribed on them and they were $10 each. It was nice because it supports the aquarium and they have cool stuff.

Gift store was not bad but really pricy I recommend buying from Amazon.
