Love James Hardware. Small business that has the big items and the little things the big guys don't bother to carry. Quick and easy in and out with knowledgeable people to help when needed.

They have items that h depot and loughs don't stock. James does cost a bit more but it's a different experience with guys that actually know how to assist you and can answer questions

Always helpful and always knowledgeable. This place is highly recommended for any hardware or lumber or new windows/doors, etc... Customer service like this doesn't exist anymore so take advantage!

I can't begin to describe how helpful all the employees at James True Value were. They took the time, a bit of time, to assist me with my plumbing problem. Diagrams we're drawn, parts were put together. I left confident knowing I could resolve my plumbing problem that has plagued me for so long. A very big thanks to all at James True Value! This is now my go to store for home repair.

I ordered retro fit windows for our home and the average per window cost was approximately $250 cheaper than a window installation company quote.The estimated delivery date was 4 to 6 weeks and we received the windows less than a month later. The salesman at James Hardware also helped load the windows into the bed of my pickup truck. I went to 2 of the nearby big box stores and received no help from anyone in the window sales area. I went to James Hardware window sales area and received prompt and knowledgeable service. I ordered the windows immediately because I had the sizes and types listed for them. I will ordering an additional 4 windows soon.

Very knowledgeable & helpful. Sales person explained the difference between items I needed to complete a bathroom project. I would highly recommend James True Value Hardware, La Habra, CA.

I purchased front doors along with 6 other doors & screens. I received exemplary service from the entire team with a shout out to Fred. He handled all my needs, along with my many changes, with kindness, professionalism and a "no problem" attitude.. If he wasn't available, there was always another member of the staff to step in. He also coordinated my needs with Dave in the Hardware store. He, like Fred, went over and above. It's so nice to receive this kind of service when "big box" has taken over. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND James Company!!

I was in the area and really needed a gas line to hook up my new dryer that will be coming in tomorrow. I had called prior to driving over there since a lot of other places are out of them. When they answered the phone they were so pleasant to speak to. When arriving I saw a gentleman stocking a couple aisles and approached him to ask if they had what I was looking for and where in the store it was located. The worker Dennis stopped what he was doing in that moment and took me to the exact aisle and section where the item that I needed was. I just wanted to take the time to write about the experience because he was such a friendly, patient, helpful, professional worker. He was very informative about the products as well. Thank you Dennis for your help.

Based on other reviews I know I will have a good experience. I'm looking for an entry door and look forward to walking into an old school hardware store. Takes me back to when I was a kid. Loved walking the isles of my neighborhood hardware store.

The best little True Value Hardware in this part of LA County, the end of LA county and Orange County starts. Had a couple keys made by a couple of young guys. Didn't look like they knew what they were doing but oh, lo and behold they did. The keys were great

Wow these guys know their stuff! For questions? Lowes and Home Depot don't have the time for you. These guys have all the answers and all the time you need to process. Especially the door specialists in the adjacent warehouse. I feel like subtracting a star for their mom-and-pop hours in a 21st century city of 60K people, but it works for them. And I'm just spoiled.

I was greeted warmly and quickly. I was directed to the person that could help me with my question. Even though David was with a another customer, he still acknowledged me and made sure I didn't feel ignored. David took the time to really answer my questions without talking down to me or rushing. This resulted in a sale for them that was over $500. Thanks for the great service!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS FANTASTIC! What a wonderful and unexpected experience! I had made an online purchase and came into the store to pick up my order. There were so many staff members offering help as I moved through the store. Wish I lived closer to this store so I could shop more frequently there.

This is an awesome hardware store, they have everything you need from nuts and bolts,sand paper power tools , quality door hardware, windows , doors, molding's. The employees are friendly and will to help from cutting a key to helping you purchase doors and windows for your remodel project.

James Co is the best of the best to find anything and everything building or maintenance related, especially the hard to find older parts and materials.
Just between David, Steve, and Greg, there’s got to be over 250 years of experience, and that’s pretty serious.
Makes me just want to eat some hot and fresh golubtsy and shashlik and think about the great service this place provides.

I came to James True Value Hardware angry, frustrated, tired and upset because Lowe's did not carry the parts I needed to connect stove they sold me.
Arriving at James True Value Hardware and in my frustration, I was kindly schooled on how to make the connections I needed with a back up plan just in case. All for a few dollars. In which, I appreciate very much.
Brings to light the forgotten adage; 'A smart customer is a good customer'.

We bought a screen door at James Hardware store. The staff was very helpful, especially Steve Earl. We highly recommend this gentleman's service if you go to this store.
