Great school for transfers! ELAC has given me so many different opportunities. I have always been supported and guided by counselors and alumni alike. Given opportunities for internships, networking, federal work study, financial aid assistance, transfer talks, field trips with MESA, clubs, a safe environment, free food passes, a free shuttle, free tutoring, free merchandise, not to mention the low cost of tuition and other fees. Most of the professors here are really great. As of now I am attending UCLA to pursue my major in Linguistics and Computer Science. ELAC continues to strive for the best in helping ALL students succeed. I couldn’t have asked for much more. You receive so much assistance here and it only continues to grow.. but you do have to go and reach out for it. Stay engaged and you’ll reap the rewards. Best community college in the entire district.

Go Huskies!

Throughout my time here, this campus is a must for students from all walks of life. The atmosphere of this place is that the staff and faculty genuinely want the best for their students. I've attended two other college campuses in the past, let's just say (in the most mildest of words), it's a bit different. Here, on the other hand, the faculty are more or less, people who either came from this community or attended college here. Now, they want to contribute back. I'm near thirty years old now, and although not a man in my late teens or early twenties. I've learned quite a bit from my errors, and it's not too late. In fact, I'm nearly done with coursework. What happens after that, I'm not too sure. But for now, I'll be patient.

I studied here for 3 years and it was a very nice experience. The professors, facilities, and environment were absolutely wonderful, and the amount of services they have available for students is incredible and very helpful. Not to mention the big catalog of courses they offer. I would totally recommend this college to anyone.

Great place if you it in the effort no matter what your goals are. They have a variety of technical programs or if you want to transfer and Continue your education you can!

I've great horrible stories about counselors but if you are determined and surround yourself with positive like minded people then you can achieve your goals!

Ever since the renovations, the school has been looking good and easier to move around the campus. I'm studying different languages and have had no problem getting my classes, plus there's plenty of parking available.

Great college, great proffesors. You can get your classes done and transfer out to CSUs, UCs or privates. The compus is just getting better and better. 😁
I got my Associates of Arts in just 2 1/2 years and transferred to CSULA where I got my Bachelor of Science. 😎✝
It's relatively cheap a unit per semester and of course if you get Financial Aid is better but if you don't, it's always better to attend to a college and then transfer to any 4 year university.
As a responsible student I always checked my classes to graduate soon with more than one counselor and of course I did my own research. Be smart and don't be a super super super senior because of lack of interest. It's your education not anyone else. Don't make excuses and it's up to you to make things happen!

Great environment for students and staff alike. There are plenty of resources provided such as a library, study rooms, and tutoring for anyone who needs it. The free wi-fi works like a charm and there are a lot of stores within the school and around the area.

Its a nice campus, BUT, as a newcomer, It looks like a Jail, not a college!

Why so many gates?

It makes me believe you're unsafer then DETROIT!

COME ON NOW, LOOSEN THE GATES!

I'm 55 and I don't appreciate that behavior, AT ALL.

This school has changed so much in the past 6 years. New buildings everywhere. A few more in the works and more planned for the following years. It is starting to look like a university. ELAC is actually the biggest Community College in California with so many resources to help you. If you have not taken advantage of these programs you are missing out. Get involved and use tools given to you. Do not expect them to do the work on their own. Hit me up if you need information.

My experience has been great with ELAC . In the recent years its gotten much better, communication between administration and students is definately there now. The programs are more available and students know they exist . Staff and full time professors are always willing to help in any way even when you are not their student anymore, Thank you for that . I recommend going to see a counselor atleast every semester .The reasons why we get stuck in Elac is because we dont ask for help and just take random classes that dont help us transfer or finish AA degree. I learned the hard way as well so ask for help, were to many students how are they suppose to know what each of us want or need .

The first thing I like about this college is that everybody treats you friendly and you will receive alot alot of help with the consulars from elac if you stay in touch with them. I about to start my classes for the first time here at elac elac and I think this college is better than any other colleges. If you want to succeed in this school you have to put effort and focus in class.
