The Catalina Cooking Store

This is an amazing cooking store that will fulfill all of your desires, whether your refreshing and upgrading your cookware or giving in to a last-minute cooking whim. The staff is knowledgeable and will advise you on what you need without necessarily steering you in the most expensive direction. Most of their brands are made in US, France, or rest of Europe.

If you miss South Bay's permanently closed Sur la Table, this is a great spot to fill the gap. It has smaller square footage, but is packed high with products including Nordic Ware, OXO, Le Creuset, Breville, Microplane and other cookware heavy hitters

Locals have an on the day option here, they are well stocked with kitchen goods you might need a spare of or are missing on the big day. This store has the smaller kitchen tools that other big box are missing, too. Friendly staff.

They've also got specialty sauces and salts which is helpful. Wish that had a bit of overlap with penzies jars of herbs and spices.

Fun cooking class in back room with chef plus owner to answer questions. Everyone gets a taste. Small shop with wide mix of knives, tools, decor, serving stuff. Also knife sharpening.
