Eclair and Cafe

I was looking for a coffee experience and not the usual franchise. So delighted to find this place. Starting with a lovely French greeting, soothing background music, a food case filled with homemade pastries and quiche's and the enticing smell of coffee, I was in heaven. The spinach quiche was so fluffy and fresh. It was served with roasted potatoes and a small delightful salad. My coffee was all the decadence I was looking for. Honestly one of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time. Bringing my family back this weekend! Treat yourself!

Authentic French breakfast without traveling to France. Large selection of pastries, delicious coffee and the best French omelette in the neighborhood. Their home made hot sauce is pure flavor, without the spicy punch. Come by, sit in the patio, sip some freshly brewed coffee and enjoy the weather.

Great place for breakfast and coffee. It's a family run business. Clean and neat. They have their bakery, so even the baguette is baked fresh. Portions are good, not too much as other places. I loved their coffee eclairs, so yummy 😋. The Orange juice was freshly squeezed. Will sure go back if I am in town. Also, all their stuff is halal, so you don't need to worry about that. I highly recommend this place great atmosphere, friendly staff and I especially loved the outdoor area on a sunny nice day!

The food was delicious I got the Olivia ( croissant egg turkey sandwich) and it was incredible highly recommend it! Super tasty the side salad is really nice and the croissant was just perfect.
You'll experience a little bit of french too, it was a very nice vibe. The outdoor patio is also nice and has shade.you don't just go for breakfast you'll get an entire experience:)) merci beaucoup!

Gosh, this couscous is just fabulous!!!

I came for the pastries and certainly enjoyed my almond chocolate croissant and cannelés. Still, I couldn't resist and with my friends we ordered the egg on croissant and then the weekend couscous and there are not enough stars to qualify the taste of those lunch plates.

A wonderful spots to get macaroons for office friends, to get a quick savory lunch or to grab something on the go.

I went to this Amazing French little heaven! The owners and staff are very welcoming! Top notch service and food quality! We had a sandwich ( mouthwatering), the dessert , we had eclair and chocolate croissant: fabulous! I loved their coffee , it was phenomenal!!

Food is amazing! You can taste the quality of freshness in every bite. Definitely a place I’ll be going to for lunch and desert very often!

The best couscous, eclaire and baguette i have ever had in LA so for, I highly recommend the place the atmosphere is amazing I highly recommend visiting the place.

Finally I found it, the place that makes me feel at home. Born and raised in the country of baguette makes your expectations quite high in terms of taste, texture and flavor. Pastries, breads all the way to espressos are at the level of the products I grew up with. The team is very welcoming unlike some places in Paris 😉. An authentic slice of Paris without the downside of it…

Was told this cafe had the best sandwiches - it’s in their bread. The baguette sandwiches taste like the bread just came out of the oven. Maybe it did! We had the egg sandwich with onions and hot sauce, and it was so delicious. Absolutely a must stop. And don’t get me started on their desserts, the eclairs and pastries. Owners came out and chatted with us - really fun experience.

Visiting and was looking for a Bakery; SO SO GLAD we walked found this. Owner was the sweetest and so courteous. My friend and I each got a croissant, me a butter croissant and her a pistachio croissant. Both were amazing and the owner offered to heat them up while we waited for our other food items. My friend got a spinach quiche and she said it was amazing. I got the chicken sandwich and couldn’t say enough good things about it. Highly recommend this place.

A warm and welcoming family-run cafe serving both sweet French pastries and savory breakfast plates! My husband and I stopped by for a bite to eat on New Year's Day, having been intrigued by reviews touting the authenticity of the bakery from people who had actually lived in France. This was further confirmed when we walked in to hear the customer right in front of us chatting away with the owner in French. We were warmly greeted by Laura, who showed great patience as we navigated the menu for the first time. She picked up on the fact that I could speak a little French and encouraged me to practice using the phrases that I could remember, which was a challenge as it has been decades since I took classes in high school! But I truly appreciated the invitation to speak, as I usually feel intimidated by the prospect of butchering another person's native language.

We opted for the breakfast panini and a veggie omelette, accompanied by a warm pain au chocolat and 3 choux (chocolate, vanilla, pistachio), and a cappuccino for me. The pain au chocolat was the perfect balance of buttery, savory, flaky pastry and semisweet chocolate. Not too sweet at all, which I really appreciate. The breakfast panini came with thoughtful touches like finely sliced caramelized onions and a homemade tangy hot sauce which was an excellent counterpoint to the hearty potato and egg filled main dish. I was surprised that the panini came in an oblong wrap as opposed to sliced bread, but the shape helped hold the fillings in and it was beautifully crispy on the outside.

Take note that the hot entrees are prepared fresh to order, which means it does take a few minutes. It was well worth the wait, but if you're hungry definitely pick up a few pastries from the glass case as an appetizer. Laura stopped by after our breakfast was served to offer up extra roasted potatoes which was a wonderful surprise as well.

All in all, this was an unexpected find for an otherwise ordinary shopping center in Torrance. I usually expect (perhaps unfairly) places advertising French fare to be overly pretentious, but this cafe is genuinely friendly and down to earth and we're looking forward to coming back to try more!

My friend told me about this place and I wanna go there. Everything is amazing. The food is fresh it’s French and it’s very good. Specially, the sandwiches.

I had the chicken sandwich and a flan . The chicken was excellent. Flavorful - a real surprise.

Flan was quite tasty also.

This has become my go to place for coffee, tea and the most amazing pastries. The croissants are light and flaky, the eclairs are creamy and the macarons are to die for. The quiche lunch is fantastic as well.
