Mary Falkingham Floral Designs

I am so impressed and delighted by the beautiful custom arrangement Mary and her team created for a loved one. The design is stunning, and I will definitely use them again next time!

I hardly ever write reviews but Mary and her team did such an amazing job for my birthday party that I had to post their work. They were recommended to me through Town and Country Party Rentals' Camille, who said Mary has one of the most reasonable prices in town. I was speechless when I saw my favorite peonies in the centerpieces in November! The flowers even dried beatifully. It's now a month after my party and I still have them displayed!

Mary Falkingham's floral designs are original and stunning. Mary and her staff mix succulents with traditional flowers, finding hues and shapes that are delightful and timeless. In addition, the *containers* are carefully chosen - she even matched the exterior of the floral boxes to a paint color I brought in! My most recent purchase was for a corsage and boutonniere for a high school dance - and she fixed magnets on the boutonniere instead of pins -- genius! Such a lovely addition to Altadena.

Mary is truly an artist. There is a reverence and tenderness toward the moment at hand apparent in everything she does. When my husband passed on, our house was full of flowers from a host of family, friends, and co-workers, and while each and every one of these arrangements spoke to me of sympathy and love, none were nearly so articulate as those prepared by Mary. For his service, she incorporated the deep, bright blues and vibrant greens my husband loved, as well as elements representing his love of the outdoors and the area of the country where he was raised. I was awed by how she so harmoniously brought all these aspects together which we had discussed. Her arrangements sang to me of his ongoing, spiritual presence and were a comfort and a strength to me. It doesn’t get any better than that.

I’ve used Mary for when it matters (otherwise I’ll arrange my own flowers) for years. She prepares creative arrangements according to my requests, always extremely fresh, always timely, always lovingly. I could not recommend her shop more highly. The friends I’ve sent to her, too, have been highly satisfied.

Pleasant, attentive staff; immeasurable quality and attention in their floral arrangements and other work. A true gem of Altadena.

The staff and selection here are first rate. I just sent an arrangement to a sick friend and was very pleased.
