Oak Knoll Barber Shop

Unfortunately, due to some scheduling issues, I had to follow my Barber Alx to Sams barbershop in Alhambra, but I wanted to say thank you so so much to Evita and the rest of the Barber is there at Oak Knoll. For the last couple years it’s felt like Home. The environment and hospitality reminds me of an old-school barbershop, which I love so much thank you again for everything and I’ll stop by from time to time to see how you guys are doing.

3M, M, Tech worker. Found my barber here after trying many places in Pasadena! New to San Marino. Walk-in or booked, always an efficient haircut exceeding expectations!

They were able to schedule me on Valentines Day! No small feat.

Top quality haircut seems better and better each day I look at it in the mirror. Very clean n friendly shop. Inside, there are 3 barbers' very old school approach to barbering. My Barbara lady ended up my cut with hot cream and a shave on the back of neck and then a great scalp and shoulder massage. I was a little short on cash, so I'm shamefully under tipped. I do intend to make amends on my next visit.

Moisés jokes were well.... Great. Felt like home. Walked in and said I was a tired of my current hair style and let him decide what would work with my hair loss. Went with a hybrid Pompadour and faux hawk. He said it would look best with bead head. Laughed and he said no seriously the messier the better it will look. Everyone there was friendly. Great experience!

Found my Barber Alex is the man to go to for a excellent clean cut! I go every 2 weeks & Alex has cut my hair & has done a great job every time. Its always a clean cut the first time. I recommend him to everyone. He is the best! No barber out there like him. So glad I found him!

If you are looking for an old fashion Barber Shop look no further. Prices are on the higher side but worth every penny. Worth the wait for Evita, she is the BEST. They still do the straight razor and a massage. Since leaving San Marino for college I will wait to get my haircut until I come back!

Premium service from real professional barbers. Not inexpensive but less than salon or non-traditional barbershop prices for great haircuts. San Marino community customers can be an interesting mix too, not found elsewhere in San Gabriel Valley.

When the governor isn't closing salons and barbershops to save the human race from extinction, I get my hair cut here. I've been known to wait 2-3 months while busy or traveling just to be sure Evita is the one to cut my few remaining hairs LOL. I'm not the only one who's a loyal fan. Lots of San Marino and SGV residents and their kids come here for cuts. They also offer straight blade razor shaves and a customary post-haircut shoulder massage. The prices have been steadily rising to offset their pandemic-related costs and losses, but they're still fine with me.
