My son goes to this school and it's ok. The staff seems friendly. I just feel that they do soo little for the students. I'm not sure if it's the district but, these kids get barely any field trips, they don't get a ceremony when they graduate Kindergarten or 6th grade I don't think they've ever heard of career day. When I was in school we had field trips all the time, we had huge carnivals and fundraisers. For career day we had judges, ambulances, police cars, fire trucks, a HELICOPTER!! It was great! And that was just in LAUSD!! I think they need to show them more of what's out there. Palmdale is already not great as it is, the scholars need better to be better.

The classrooms are crowded, they staff is not helpful. They don't have very many elective programs. The office staff is NOT friendly! Some of the staff are racist & discriminate against anyone that are not hispanic. Low test scores. Your lucky if you get a GOOD teacher for your child. Over all experience not so good.

My 7 yr. old Son was bullied, He was in the restroom when older boys put urine in water bottles and pored all over his hair and clothes. School has absolutely no supervision. When I arrived, he was drenched, absolutely discus-sting. I immediately pulled him out of that School and transferred him too another elementary in the area.

My son goes here... I'm considering homeschooling him because he hates it. He doesn't feel like his teacher cares! She doesn't even ask him for his homework so he forgets to turn it in. I found a week's worth of completed homework in his backpack! She never asked for it! Nor has she reached out to me to say she hasn't received homework in a week... He's right, she doesn't care!

My son goes here I love the headstart pre k, but looking at the reviews scare me might continue my son in a better school next year for kindergarten..... Cause when I walk my son to school I see little kids cursing.. Not a good environment for my child if staff are gonna continue to allow that behavior..

As a former student of this school, please don't send your child here. In my entire time here I went through harsh bullying, fights, teachers that would go "Oh your desk is to messy" and throw it at me, and an even less helpful staff. Don't do that to your kids.
