Prices are outrageous. They over charge but the work is decent

I called ahead to check pricing and was told they do a free check which can take about 15 minutes, then it would cost $50 for the repair which could take an hour or 2 to complete and that they close at 6pm. As soon as I pulled up, just before 5pm, the guy in front made a face like, DAMN! Why did you come now?!!". I know I showed up an hour before they closed, but still it was off putting to see that reaction before I even had a chance to speak with them. I will say, he wasn't rude to me in his tone of voice and when I asked if I was too late he said no, so I asked if he could check why my sunroof was leaking when I go through the car wash and if a repair was needed I could come back the next day since it was so close to closing time. He had me open the sunroof then took a small bottle with water in it and poured some around the inside edges of the sunroof. The water came out from the drains, so he told me there were no clogs so the leak must be coming from the windshield. I explained to him how when the water starts absorbing into the headliner and leaking into the car it starts from the back edge of the headliner around the sunroof and moves towards the front of the car, so it didn't make sense to me why it wouldn't be going from the front to back instead if it were a windshield issue. He then tells me that he's been working on windshields a long time and that's all he does every day and he would know what he's talking about. So I let it go because I didn't feel like arguing and left. I felt like he didn't want to do the job and didn't want to do a thorough check for any leaks because of how close to closing time it was. It took him maybe 5 minutes to do what he did. I'm going to take it to another place and see what they tell me.

I decided to shop around for a sunroof motor replacement and found Southgate Sunroofs via Google. Granted, my car was still at the dealership but I had a video of the sunroof issues. He really was not only disinterested, but his shop was in complete disarray and seemed better suited for upholstery jobs; there wasn't even a service bay. i had read the reviews and while he wasn't really friendly he wasn't totally unwelcoming either. What was true from previous reviews was his OUTRAGEOUS QUOTE of $5500! Greedy and unprofessional; don't waste your time.

Something is broken we know that he said it $1500 to fix it so I call a wrecking
Yard an bought a complete sunroof for $150 he is a over price money hungry rip
Off an said the dealer those sell the parts to fix it really sad people like him is doing business in th the usa
