My daughter attended this school for a few weeks kindergarten year. The staff was rude and the noon duties didn't help much. She would take her lunch bag but only had snacks in it and wasn't let through the lunch line to get her lunch. They would take her out of the line just because she would carry her snack bag. Talked to office about this. They didn't do anything since it reoccured. I also heard from another parent that her daughter got her drink taken away by noon duty and the person who took it away drank it. She heard from office person who knew the little girls mom. Don't know how it is now but glad we moved.

Thank God my children are grown and don't have to attend such a close minded school. The Principle should be ashamed of his actions. But in the Politically Correct Society we live in he probably is more concerned that Boys can use girls bathrooms rather than tormenting a young boy!

After reading the report how the school not only violated the First Amendment rights of a poor defenseless 1st grader. I realized fascism has been uncovered in the American school system. Desert Rose Elementary took the totally non-political correct step to involve the police to intimidate a 1st grader to stomp on the First Amendment through government policing for further intimidation-- have never broken the law. The school broke the law.
Desert Rose Elementary is teaching students what fascism is all about.
