Elms Motel

I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel on a recent snowboard trip to Mammoth. Right off the 395 highway, super clean rooms, comfortable bed, shower was good, the owner was kind and funny and the check in/out process was super fast and easy. Only good things to say about this place - I plan to stay here again on my next trip to Mammoth, hopefully sooner than later! Thanks again for a great experience

Owner has great hospitality. Trucker friendly. The rooms are very clean. Not fancy but they smell clean, they feel clean, and are clean. It looks like they are investing in remodeling as the tile, bathroom and flooring seemed new. Along with the new beds. Rooms are cozy. It’s nice and quiet here. Again, I cannot express how great it feels to be able to sleep in a room, take a nice shower and sleep good at night for a great deal. I’d be staying here again. Thank you so much! 😊

This is prime location for exploring Mammoth, the White Mountains, Hot Springs, and the Eastern Sierras. Everything is within a 45 minute drive. The property has recently been remodeled and the rooms are quiet, clean and cozy. The best part of our stay is how kind the property owners are. Extremely friendly and accommodating. There are restaurants and a bar within walking distance in Bishop from the Elms and a beautiful park in their backyard. We will be back! Thank you for our awesome stay!

It's been a few years but I'll always remember the hospitality of the owners and the no-nonsense, clean rooms. Not fancy but just what we needed that night--a safe, clean, reasonably priced room. We'll definitely stay there next time we spend time in Bishop. Loved the owners and loved the rooms. Thanks.

Clean, quiet, friendly. Located a couple blocks off the main street, a clean, quiet, cozy room with coffee maker and nice walk in shower. Wall heater kept me toasty in the chilly night. Breakfast was coffee and donuts or cereal for an early morning start. I will stay here again. 35 mins from Mammoth Lakes. I had to get off the mountain because an overnight storm was approaching and this was my refuge. Very glad to have found it. Thank you to the friendly owners.

We just booked a last minute room at this hotel Feb 24 2023 on our way to Mammoth lakes, by the outsidelook you won't expect much... front desk staff friendly, the room was super clean, it didn't have any bad smell at all, the shower and bathroom served its purpose, parking just in front your room, (I wish it came with a microwave oven), walking distance to restaurants and shops... overall a good place to stay if you are in this area.🙂

2nd time staying here. Cool staff. Cool cottages.. close to everything. Nice rooms , very clean. I will definitely tell people it's a great place to stay. The breakfast was great. Everything was fresh, plenty to choose from.

Great internet, spacious room, close to restaurants gas stations supermarkets and bars.
Very good place when combining Yosemite and Death Valley.
Breakfast is included and the motel is far enough from the main street to not hear anything at night.

Quaint motel in on a scenic side street in the post-card town of Bishop, CA. Small room but cozy and the bathroom was extra clean. Certainly recommend this place for anyone traveling to Bishop. One day, I will certainly be back to this place.

Five months after my stay, I realized I may have left my camera's battery charger in the room. I called the motel and was kindly taken care of by the woman who answered the phone. She got back with me the next day, but unfortunately it was not there. However, the customer service was impressive.

Cozy cottage feel atmosphere. Easy accommodations with last minute change to add our grandchild to our room for our mini vacation. Quick and easy access to the main road, and pleasant staff.

This is a kind of off the main drag place that was very clean and cost about 90 dollars a night. Seems to cater to people doing outdoors stuff. Place is older but then again it is very clean. Not the best place in the world but the owner works the desk and was very friendly. Would stay there again.

You’ll never do better for the price. Super clean, modest accommodations. The owner-operators live on site and are very gracious. If you’re into neon, it’s worth it for the sign alone.

Brand new remodeled rooms! Such a nice motel within walking distance of all restaurants and stores in town, we'll definitely stay again!

Owner was super nice, I was traveling for work and didn’t expect to stay here, rooms are super clean and comfortable 10/10 recommend this motel if you are staying in Bishop.

Cute little motel with bungalows off Main Street. Courteous staff. The rooms are small, but have everything you need, including a hair dryer, AC, ice nearby, coffeemaker, etc.

Manager was helpful and nice, the rooms were clean and the grounds were well kept, I felt safe and the place was very quaint and quiet, sitting at the back of the property at the tables is very nice next to the park will be staying here again

The owners are very very nice, and honest. We had a very pleasant time, we are planning our next trip in Sept and will hopefully be able to get reservations.

It is what it is. Easy place to crash after fishing and having fun all day. It's not the Four Seasons it's the Elms. Think "late night del taco chicken soft taco", it's satisfying like that.

We always stay here on our trips to Palm Springs from Placerville Ca. Friendly staff and love the roomy double room.
