Bishop Village Motel

Some rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean! I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years, I love dealing with the same people every time. Adriana has stellar customer service and as I am in customer service myself…I REALLY appreciate how she goes out of her way. Despite there being newer places in town to stay, we like the fact that we can park directly in front of our room and it is located near the center of town but off 395 so nice and quiet. The Bishop Village Motel is always our home away from home.

We loved staying here! Really clean rooms, nice beds for an affordable price. They had nice soap and body wash too in the clean bathroom. Very friendly front staff. Would definitely recommend!!

The owner is super nice. She was very accomidating and friendly. For the price, you will not find a better place to spend the night. In comparison to the hotel next door, this place is clean spacious and the best deal for your money.

My son and I enjoyed our stay very much! We look forward to returning next year for our third visit to this lovely motel.

This place is 5 of 5 to me. One of the really simple and nice room we stayed at. You get all the basic things you will need. Has wifi, fridge, flat tv, microwave and coffee maker. The bed sheets, covers and towels are all clean. It is quiet. The bathroom smells nice to me. Parking area is safe. We are a family of 3. We will definitely choose this place again once we go back to Bishop. Oh, one more thing, the owner was too nice and accomodating to let us pack our stuff and not charge us extra eventhough we are beyond the 11am check out time. Thank you Bishop village motel. We enjoyed our stay!

We booked this place last minute after weather conditions just got bad out in the Mesa. Super friendly staff and met the owner too! The room we stayed for two days was completely remodeled and were very nice with two bedrooms and a kitchen! Hot water, clean, we had our own yard too to relax and played in the snow! Definitely recommend this places! Only negative was the electric stove was the best but did the job.

My favorite hotel in Bishop. Family owned. Very nice and clean! Rooms with kitchenettes too. They have suites as well. Pool is open year round and super clean, excellent place to hang out. Walking access to everything you could need in town. McDonalds and Giggle Springs are one block away. Fish cleaning station as well. A block off Main St, 395, so traffic noise is diminished. Stayed here 5 times so far, never been disappointed!

I’m thrilled! We got stranded traveling with road closures and this was the last motel on the list, I wish it was the first it would have saved me a lot of trouble. We called, they held the room for my family and I. It’s better than the photos! Remodeled and extremely clean! Super super friendly staff. I’m feeling really grateful that we were able to stay here.

Off the main road so very quiet. Felt safe here.This is an older motel that is well worn but clean and with a good bed. Wife was happy so I can recommend it

Love this place! Simple nostalgic no frills throwback Motel. always clean, our room was a single queen bed which was new and comfortable. There’s a nice pool. don’t let the exterior fool you ( I actually like the old original neon sign) it’s not luxury but I’ve been here before and they’ve definitely put money into some of the interior of the rooms with new floors and other amenities. Liked staying here then and it’s gotten even better. No problem with Wi-Fi for me.

Super comfy, the pool really makes this place awesome

Room was exceptionally clean, quaint. Kitchen perfect for my needs. I was worried about the Thermador vintage heater but it heated the cold room so fast, I soon had to turn it down. Efficient! And a heater in the bathroom made showers pleasant. The front desk lady was so kind and helpful, and friendly. She made sure I got a quiet room away from the parking lot. Felt so homey. Very worth the cost, in fact with the money saved from not eating out, it was a deal.

After driving from Vegas towards mammoth, i had to get a break in between this two destinations! So came across this place and One of the greatest nights i spent was at this place and what made it more pretty is outstanding costumer services the lady provided, i booked the very last minute and I didn’t get to ask her name! I call her the good human being ! The room it self was great! And worked perfectly for my family, j couldn’t ask for anything better! Thank you friend and if i am ever in town i am staying here again!

Really enjoyed staying here. Rooms were very clean and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Great rates! We were able to talk to Jack’s for breakfast easily. Water pressure in the shower was great! Staff was friendly. Our phones were not able to connect to the wifi, but our 5g worked just fine, so no problem for us. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great mom-n-pop motel, run by people who care! We suffered auto problems while staying there, and Adrianna was more than willing to accommodate us when we couldn't leave when originally intended. We love the rooms with a full kitchen, have stayed here a couple times, and will always contact them first when we pass thru the area.

This hotel is simple and quaint, clean, and a bit nostalgic. What puts it over the top for me is the person running the place. Adrianna is incredibly kind, accommodating and professional. Without a doubt, this is always our first choice hotel when we’re in the Bishop area.

So cozy and welcoming. Our room has a king bed, soft and cushy, kitchenette with full size stove and fridge. Closet space and a good sized bathroom. Our parking space is right in front of our room. Brick walls, so you don't hear the neighbors very much, and it's off Main St, so much more quiet and relaxing!

Bishop is an extremely charming town and the Bishop Village Motel fits right in. Great price, extremely clean & tidy, great location, and, simply put, cool. It's exceedingly rare to find an older motel that is not run down or carry some sort of negative connotation. This motel, however, has avoided the pitfalls of corporate ownership or delayed updates.

I admit that I originally looked for a bnb, but could not find one that was available in my time frame. BUT. I am so, so happy that my original plan did not work out. There is a certain satisfaction knowing that my dollars went to a family ran business opposed to some wealthy second home owner, which ultimately helps keep these rural Western towns so unique.

Highly recommend, and I'd stay again.

Love this place! Very friendly owners and extremely accommodating facilities. Excellent for fishermen! Well kept up fish cleaning area and BBQ for grilling up your catch. Pool is very refreshing and clean after a long day fishing.
