Bishop Town House Motel

This motel isn’t new or fancy but it’s clean enough and had everything I needed. Best of all, checking in was extremely fast and easy. I’ll stay here anytime I need to work in the area.

Stayed here on my way back to Mammoth from traveling and was super excited on the price, location, staff and the property itself was awesome I will definitely be staying here again the place is now are go to spot thank you guys for letting us enjoy the pool also!

I’ve stayed here before and would stay again. Staff is nice and rooms are clean. Location is great as well. I was able to walk to many restaurants instead of driving. That is a plus because after driving from San Diego I was tired. I liked the parking and the bathroom. Price was excellent as well. Thank you!

Stayed overnight while visiting the area. Check-in was smooth, and the attendant was friendly. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There are restaurants within walking distance. I would consider staying here again if in the area.

I stayed here two weeks ago and loved the room we got! So clean and big with nice decor and an perfect size bathroom! This time my kids were with me so we stayed in a room with two beds! I called ahead and they held a room for me until I got there, staff is so incredibly nice and welcoming both times we came. Price is great and the rooms are exactly what I need after snowboarding all day:). Parking is the best right next to our room and easy to grab something from the car if needed. Others staying here are kind and welcoming! I will definitely stay here every time I come to mammoth! Thanks Bishop Town House!

For the price we paid, we got a clean room in a great location - walking distance to Schatz bakery. The rooms are clean and sufficient for a comfortable 1 night stay. We had a microwave in the room.

There’s nothing remarkable about this place.
But that’s the reason I give it a good review. It’s clean it’s on the main drag and I was just looking for a place to sleep for the night. Had I’ve been with my grandkids I’ve might’ve looked for one of the places that had continental breakfast, and was a little more upscale.
But if you’re looking for a place to stay no frills, I recommend this motel. Just in case, the management of this hotel reads this, I need to say that the fella behind the counter his name is Jay did a really nice job and because of him I did not drive any further looking for another place to stay.

Pretty standard motel. The pool is nice and clean.
Life hack: you can walk into the creek area at a nearby hotel which is absolutely amazing.

I'm a traveler on a budget and this was the best deal in town! The fella behind the counter was a very polite host and the room was clean! The location is very convenient and within walking distance of restaurants, gas station, stores, and the brewery!

I stayed on the top floor (room 28) for 1 night and it was very nice. Water pressure was good, room was clean, and the whole motel has a cozy feeling to it. DirecTV included in each room. Owner is very nice and quick to help! I would recommend. All the hotels in bishop and mammoth are pricey, but this is the best deal.

Cute old school motel in a quiet town surrounded by beautiful mountains. We stayed in the upstairs room number 32 which seemed like the nicest one out of the bunch, very clean, wood paneling throughout the room, very comfortable bed and soft sheets. The staff were very sweet. Cheapest place around but I would definitely recommend it.

Good price and really nice and inviting. Plus staff here is real kind and helpful. A personal plus for me is that the AC is close to the bed, so if you've got a sunburn like I did, you can lay on the edge of the bed and have it blow cold air on it lol

This place has really turned itself around with the new owners. It used to be a meth cave with horrible disgusting people but the new owners kicked them all out and redid the rooms. Thank goodness for them. I don't know if it's too its former glory but it's definitely better and good for the town. If only we could get rid of the tweekers completely.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! It's authentic, a nice experience and the price makes it that much more fun. This is real California, OLD HWY 395, this is how the real people live and historically, it is exactly what it should be and nothing more. If you love Owens Valley culture, history and the beautiful mountains, then you are going to love this motel. Get over yourself is you think you can only have a 5-STAR hotel because this is a 10-STAR experience. The vintage fixtures and period furniture. It's not trying to be anything other than what it is and that is what I appreciate about it. Pay attention to the details and especially be nice to the SUPER NICE MANAGERS because they are real people being themselves.

They were great and saved me a few bucks. Everything is within walking distance and the people are always friendly.

So my car broke down in Bishop and The mechanic wouldn’t be done until 12:30, Bishop Townhouse Motel was very accommodating, allowing me to stay an extra hour and a half after checkout without fee.
It was a Holiday Blessing

While in God's country- a great place to stage and regroup. Take the wife n kids to make memories!
