An incredible school that transfers to every top school in the nation. Caring and passionate professors that are all very educated on their field of study. Spent three years here before transferring and I wouldn’t have changed it for the world.

5 stars bc I loved being there. It's really great especially for newly graduated high school alumni. Being in college as a very young legal adult is very important. There is, however, a few things I need to address. Tuition waived for born citizens plus financial aid on top of that is great but considering how much the cost of living is it's really not realistic the way it's set up. Basically as alumni I feel I have the duty to publicly make aware any kind of glitches par se. The certifications available for the various majors & the curated general education available depending on assessment is great if you can afford it. Meaning (as cliche as this sounds) in addition to the waived tuition, I had to figure out how to make my financial aid enough for my rent for housing, plus utilities, plus food & clothes & hygiene & transportation, etc. Obviously the response to that is get a part time job if you're a full time student (which is possible). What I'm saying is if you're a young adult undergrad going to school full time the only job you can get is a part time minimum wage job & unfortunately for me minimum wage at that time was only $7.00/hr. I was however able to get a part time minimum wage job for $7.50/hr plus free food (bc it was a restaurant) but there were no benefits & that's still not enough for the cost of living. Basically you have to be super privileged to even step foot on a college campus. Every little bit helps. Meaning you need a source of transportation, money for food, housing, etc all that. If you dnt have any one of those things, u will not b able to graduate bc the obstacles accumulates. I just feel that the way it's set up is not only do u have to b super privileged but it's also assuming that if something weird happens not only will u b able to report it but they per se will do something per se about it which they dnt. Like they say u just have to b smart. & I think it helps just hearing from other ppl networking trying to make the world a better place for future generations. What I'm saying is these r the things that needs addressing. Maintain the greatness but also make improvements by fixing whatever obstacles placed that way we can see a higher graduation rate & hopefully fix the school's credibility (which they ddnt have at least even I went). & also some of the teachers gives bad grades to students they're jealous of but there's a teacher review website for that so hopefully that is utilized. Anyway everything seems so corrupted but it's our duty to maintain the momentum of progression for future generations so it's really important that stuff like that per se gets addressed appropriately per se.

A nice campus for a CC. One of my two sons went there and transferred to UC without issues. Counselors were very helpful too.

One thing I really like about DVC is that it makes everything simple. You can get answers to all kinds of questions by reaching out to one counselor. Professors and staff are always friendly and helpful. If you want to start or continue your college education, this is the place.

I love this school!! It is so beautiful!! The teachers are friendly and so are the students. There is a clear ethnic mixture of colors and culture.... amazing school with amazing people. would love if they got more funding. It's the only restriction I have seen since my time there.

I enrolled at Diablo Valley College in the Fall semester of 2016 as an "adult learner". I hadn't been in a formal educational setting since high school, 20 years earlier. I was a bit apprehensive at the notion of returning to school after so long but that faded quickly. Everyone I met was very eager to help me find my way and be successful. I can't speak more highly about everyone in the Student Services department, the faculty and staff there, as well as the students. The environment is very welcoming and supportive.

Excellent community college, possibly the best in the Bay Area. Easy transfers to University Of California and California State systems. Diverse student base, excellent campus and facilities. Safe, peaceful and suburban college town neighborhood. Staff and co-eds are extremely liberal, but as can be expected from any higher education institution in Northern California. Highly recommended.

Loved meeting students from other countries and had some very memorable encounters that I'm sure they will never forget nor will I. Especially in study area and library with Keiko who helped me with foreign language and I showed her something also 😍

I'm currently a student at Diablo Valley College CA. I study here As a international student. The environment here is pretty cool and comfortable. I really love taking classes. They have food store , book store too. They also have tutoring on the campus in math & science center , which is really helpful. They can help you free in math bio chemical physics stats computers etc. They also have English reading and writing center on campus which is free and helps you in writing essays and improving it to. 💯💯 Some teachers also gives you extra credit for spending specific hours in math center / writing center.😍 Which is amazing. DVC IS ONE OF THE BEST AND AFFORDABLE COLLEGE IN CALIFORNIA.♥ They have two campuses one is in Pleasant hill and the other is in San Ramon. Pleasant hill is bigger and have more classes. 😎🔥 It's also the best college in transfer to a Cal state or University of California👍.I must recommend this to locals or international student to come DVC. 💯 They have amazing programs here for associates and transfer degree. It's cheaper than other community college and more reliable.✌ ♥

An excellent JC. Back in The Day I was enrolled here for classes, AND at APU in So. Cal. I just know that going away to school would have been a REAL CHALLENGE for me..so what happened? Great question!!! The choice was made and I went away to college in So. Cal. No, I'm NOT saying anything bad about this place at all. One of the best JC's you can go to in California.

As someone who went straight from high school to a 4-year university, my preconceptions about community colleges were absolutely blown away when I attended several classes here in preparation for another degree. Every instructor I had at DVC was equal to if not better than the instructors I had had at my previous university. Costs were much cheaper, too. If you're on the fence about college, I highly recommend DVC as a way to find out if higher education is right for you.

I used to go there in the past and always had a good experience. I was just there to get my Covid-19 vaccine. It was very well organized and I was in and out very quickly.

Great school. Great facility with fast wifi, great faculty, very vibrant community. Its like a miniature city, many services are done in house, such as police services, culinary arts, etc.
