I needed a little customization for my fireplace insert which the competition couldn’t provide. The whole thing went flawlessly and the field guy, although he didn’t speak much English, he was skilled, conscientious and pleasant. Ryan came out previously and clearly knew what he was doing. The whole thing exceeded my expectations. We are really enjoying the unit. It looks good and it pumps out heat.

We replaced a wood-burning insert with a gas fireplace, including a new surround, and we’re very happy with the end result. Ryan was our main point of contact and we worked with him from beginning to end. He was very easy to work with, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The crew (John, Vince, Jose) who did the actual work were also excellent. They’re knowledgeable and have a lot of experience at what they do and are easy to work with. His team did a fantastic job taking down the brick facade and hearth with a small jack hammer and fixed all the surrounding area perfectly. Very professional…They came out to the house to measure our fireplace to ensure it will fit from the model we picked. The gas line was installed first, then the insert fireplace was installed the next day. After the inspection and installation was completed, the owner came out to test and explain how to work the fireplace system. It looks great and we used it all winter in our family room. We didn’t need to turn on the central heating system.

It's rare to find businesses these days that provide this level of service. We purchased two fireplaces from Walnut Creek Fireplace. The staff was wonderful to work with, and also knowledgeable. Damon was always available as we worked to find the right fireplaces for our home renovation. Years later, we had a small issue with one of the units. I called to get a referral for a repair shop, but Damon insisted on coming over personally and fixing the issue. He was here that same day, diagnosed the issue, resolved it and declined payment. The entire process was wonderful from walking into the showroom through the installation process. We love our new fireplace insert and are thrilled we got this done to enjoy during the recent stormy weather.

We had a 25 year old fireplace insert with issues and went in first to discuss options. Were told probably repairable, but aged. Asked for a replacement estimate and got a ballpark number. We decided to proceed with a new insert. After a visit to assess our situation, we received a detailed estimate which was very close to the original ballpark number. Ordered, set an installation date which arrived along with the installer who was very efficient. One minor glitch in our set up which required him to return later in the day with a special part, but he did and all done and functional on schedule. Looks good, works well with a user-friendly remote control. Very pleased with the insert, the service and the outcome.

We had an old 80's style fireplace that we wanted to change from gas to electric (since we have solar) so we called Damon. He was prompt and helpful. His team installed the electrical, fixed the drywall, did amazing stone work and now we have a beautiful new fireplace! I'm so happy with our new fireplace! We have another fireplace in our family room that will be fixed up and beautified by Damon and his team in the near future! I highly recommend this company.

Really love our new fireplace! The folks at Walnut Creek Fireplace were very helpful, from start to finish helping to align on a final design that fit our space. Even with a manufacturers delay due to the pandemic, they were great about communication all along the way. The installers were very conscientious of the installation space, keeping it clean and were careful with social distancing. And when they patched the wall where the gas line was connected, they brought in the perfect touchup paint. You can't really tell there was ever a hole there. We are very happy.

Damon and the team have this down to a science. They are a well-oiled machine. From the first e-mail to showroom visit to prep to install everything took about 3 weeks. Damon patiently answered our questions and gave us clear pricing and made it all happen without any surprises. Would highly recommend them to anyone considering upping their fireplace game.

Damon (the owner) and his crew did a spectacular job on our fireplace wall remodel. Our old wood burning fireplace was replaced with a beautiful, modern gas burning fireplace. In addition, Damon went down to the stud walls to rebuild it so we could mount a television above the fireplace. (We used a special down & out mount to keep the TV well above the fireplace when not in use and yet can lower it for viewing.) Damon used his second skill set to recommend a "Venetian Plaster" finish on the firebox and his skilled workers installed it flawlessly. He also helped us out when another contractor doing other work for us was less than cooperative. Damon made a call and 5 minutes later, the other contractor contacted us and the issue was solved! Damon and his crew were fast, efficient, courteous and overall, a pleasure to have in our home. Very highly recommended.
