I (we, my cousins ) spent an entire weekend in Plymouth and had dinner in the PH&K Restaurant. We enjoyed the special cocktails along with the delicious meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. We happen to be there on a Friday with the locals for dancing. I will definitely be back there again.

Took a drive and found this place. Who knew this fun place was in little Plymouth. Great bartender - Erin. Great server - Mary. Delicious wood fired pizza. We live 40 minutes away and will definitely go again 😋

Simply put, a gem of the area. The Plymouth Hotel never ceases to amaze and always finds new ways to make both the menu dynamic and the community come in unison.

A place where people may rejoin, friends may rejoice, and guests may relish. Salt of the earth, through and through.

Also, the food and drinks are really good!

The food is amazing!!! The pumpkin curry was delicious! I love the sharable bites concept.
Great drinks too!!! I love that they use fresh mint for their mojito.

Fun place to visit. Great drink variety. Very friendly, attentive staff. The owner has done an excellent job juggling busy peak hours with staff shortage. Food was hot and fresh. I had the beef ragout over polenta, excellent! I'm sure it's a struggle to run a restaurant in this town, so I wish them the best.

This review is for the current restaurant and bar. Great food and innovative drinks. This is the only full bar in downtown Plymouth and does not disappoint. Menu is unique, with a Philippine influence. Lots of small plates, perfect for sharing. Will be one of our go to places

My wife and i arrived in Plymouth around 5:30 PM after touring the wineries and a nice outing. We wanted something fun, local and not too stuffy. The Hotel appeared to meet our needs. We sat at the bar - not our normal preference but seemed comfortable here - and enjoyed a Panini grilled sandwich and salads. Oh we did have glass of local wine too. All nicely presented but not ostentatious, appropriate portions and excellent value. My challenge was the specials board with "bread pudding and rum sauce" featured. I am like a Labrador on a duck when it comes to bread pudding. I ordered the dish with some caution, but the first bite was transforming. Wonderful texture and flavor with the amazing enhancement added by the rum sauce. The sauce was made fresh as the owner took a bottle of rum to the kitchen. The owner (we found acquired the hotel 19+ years ago) has some fun history herself. The owner is delightful and her pride in this historic foothills business shows. Still has the funky feel but very comfortable and worthy of 5 stars in our book. This is not "Toast" but worthy of a relaxed excursion into California small town history. Oh, take some time to chat with Luke. He is the bar-keep and can spin a pretty good story when invited. We will be be stopping in again. Actually, my wife is already planning a group outing with friends to enjoy their large patio area.

Not only did we enjoy great drinks and delicious pizza in the blooming garden, but our server, Marina made our experience unforgettable even before she brought my forgotten cell phone back to us at our campground!

Excellent food, stellar cocktails & attentive staff. Can't wait to visit again!

Eat here! I was completely blown away by this gem. Such delicious food, accessibly priced, in tiny little Plymouth. The menu is eclectic- we tasted lumpia, tacos, classic wedge salad, roasted brussel sprouts & wood fired pizza. I often fear a menu this diverse reflects an unfocused kitchen, & therefore mediocre execution. Not the case here! Wow! I felt like I had take-out from five different fabulous restaurants. All in a glorious garden setting. The dessert menu was very compelling. So glad I saved room for the banana lumpia with
coconut sauce.

The cocktail program was shockingly good- cardamom bitters in a Manhattan? Yes please! If this is the standard of restaurants in small town CA, we can all leave the city. I will be back soon!

Incredible hospitality! Food and drink on point as well. If you are craving a craft cocktail, come here. Great selection of spirits. Order the lumpia, oh and the pizzas are awesome. I'm not a pizza person, and we shared two!

A really great place to just drop in, chat with the patrons and have a couple of drinks. I was traveling and had to wait a while before I met someone, hadn't been to the hotel for years since we left the area in 2005 but it was really like coming home.

A really great place to spend part of your day when you're in Plymouth or the neighboring Amador county wine country.
