Delicious starters (pork belly n dumplings) to entrees (ribs n skirt steak)

Service was great, small space but love the plating being done just outside of the kitchen. Great entertainment

It was our first time dinning here and with no reservation but they were able to accomodate our party of four. They have a cozy atmosphere and the food was so good. A little bit pricey but its worth it IMO!

Exceptional. If you haven't eaten here, do it.

For apps, our favorites are the sweet potato dumplings, lobster mac and pork belly. For main course, we love the Wagwan pepper steak, Jerk up the skirt steak, pork loin or shrimp and grits (they are all killer, but I don't believe there is a bad choice on the menu). For dessert...anything (again)...but my personal faves are the cornmeal bread pudding or the beignet.

If you haven't gone yet, you seriously need to.

This place is truly fantastic all the way around. I had my birthday dinner here and the food was absolutely delicious. One of the best meals ever. The service was excellent. Food came in a timely manner and delivered with a smile! Everyone in this place was so friendly. I loved the fact that my dogs were welcome. The pet menu was not in place yet but what a great excuse to go back and enjoy the laid back rustic atmosphere! A definite must.

Bistro 49 is a family! As soon as you walk in wait staff immedatly seat you(if room is avaiable, they are famous around these parts) take your drink order and constantly check in to see if you need anything! Prices are normal and food is worth more money honestly they could seriously be charging more and Id still eat there as often as I do. The chefs come out of the open concept kitchen and greet you and joke around! Moral of the review, just go! Stop reading and just go💚 Photos are of the blackened salmon which was a special and the deconstructed strawberry cheese cake which is on the June dessert menu.

Excellent service! Their chicken is amazingly flavorful, paired with local Amador Brewing Company Dirty Blond.

The quality of the food was far higher than I was expecting. The dumplings (gnocchi) were transcendent. One of those experiences where you stop eating and laugh out loud because the flavor is so spectacular. The waitress (Vanessa) was fantastic as well. Very knowledgeable about the menu and area in general (she is a local). She helped us pair our meal with some great red blends that matched our taste and overall made the dining experience very pleasurable. Will be coming back to this place in the future and definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Sutter Creek.

Coming to this restaurant, for a comfort food, it's a great idea! Stopping by, know to expect a professional service and casual atmosphere. Do you like to go out with friends for a drink? Take a lover to a lunch date? Have the whole family taste memorable meals? The eats are top notch, and I think you will enjoy.

Great food, wonderful service, beautiful venue. Ignore the 2 pages of "please read" instructions. Everyone in our party of 8 was totally satisfied. The appetizers- Mac & cheese, pork belly, and dumplings - we're all perfect. The salmon was cooked perfectly on a delicious sauce and topped with pickled vegs that made the dish. The jerked chicken was enjoyed by others in our group. So happy that Chef KC has found a new home!

This place never disappoints. The flavor profiles are amazing no matter what you order and the presentation is top notch. Kudos to the chef, your talent is amazing, I would say the Taste restaurant has an avid competitor!!

Outstanding. It's hard to believe we have restaurant of this caliber in our little town of Sutter Creek. Chef KC awed our party with preparations of favorful delights. Both food and service were superb.

Hands-down, my favorite restaurant in Jackson! the burgers are the best I've ever tasted (that's a tall order) and the reuben is outstanding. The hours are weird, so check that they are open before you head out.

What an awesome hidden jewel in Jackson, CA. The food and service was fantastic!! The food price point was good as well. The owner of the bistro was very personable. We will definitely eat there again. 👨🏾‍🍳

By far one of the best restaurants in Amador County! The food is outstanding and the presentation is exceptional. All of the staff are very friendly, their interaction with customers gives the family feel. I highly recommend Bistro 49, beyond the standard!!

New menu each month prepared with creativity and skill. Seafood - A+. Excellent service. Amador Brewing, Espresso drinks and quality desserts too! Great wine selection as well.
