Villa Privata

What an amazing find. Got lucky as I was just trying to go to the dog park at Wheel Park and passed this gem. Spacious outdoor area to meet all COVID guidelines. A reservation really helps. I didn’t know but as I was alone they were able to seat me almost immediately. Peaceful, beautiful, wonderful homemade food! Even the house wine had a premium feel. Dogs are welcome. People (guests) are friendly and the staff was perfect. This would be a perfect venue for a wedding.

The Villa Privata has quickly become our family's favorite restaurant in Amador County. Their wood fired pizza has just the right amount of sauce and a great tasting crust. Our daughter loves their chicken bites and fries and our son always has a hard time deciding between their moist and tasty chicken sandwich or prime rib sandwich (both with homemade buns). My favorite recently has been their garlic pesto pasta (the pasta is homemade and melts in your mouth!). If you love garlic you need to try this dish and the breadsticks that come with it are so delicious. For an anniversary date we came here and had their special - beer battered shrimp and fries and loved it! So far we haven't tried anything we didn't love on the menu and the atmosphere outside with the waterfall running is so peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful! We are so happy we found this restaurant! The building and grounds are gorgeous! There were 6 in our party and they were able to accommodate us. All of our meals were amazing! The food had wonderful flavor. We were able to taste the fresh and quality ingredients. Portion sizes are good as well. The service was perfect. We enjoyed the nice ambience. The fettuccine alfredo, the burger, and the fish were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back!

My partner and I enjoyed an outstanding meal at this surprising Mediterranean villa themed restaurant on a quiet street in Jackson. It was as though we were transported to rural Italy with all its charm and beauty. We sat outside in the rear patio area. I suppose that was for the restaurant to maintain social distancing for the safety of ourselves and others. The sound of running water from the architectural pools was soothing and contributed to the Mediterranean ambiance. My partner never completes a full meal. She did here. She had a local wine and I a local beer. Very reasonable pricing. The food, however, was the highlight. I had the best pesto pasta I've ever had. The breadsticks were outstanding. We saw and enjoyed the aroma of fresh wood baked pizza. The customers at a nearby table were locals and told us they loved the food and came often. I understand why and plan to return even though we live about an hour away in the Sacramento area. If you're hungry and looking for an excellent meal in a surprisingly exotic setting, give it a try.

We had Valentine's dinner at this wonderful little restaurant. We go to many different steak houses and exquisite dining restaurants. This place was beyond our wildest dreams when it came to taste, quality, customer service, price, and Wine selection. It was our 1st time eating there yesterday but we will be coming back for sure. The only thing I would change is more variety on the menu. Overall this place deserves a 10!!!!

Great place, amazing hand made rolls melts in your mouth!

Was out for a drive when we saw this place and decided to give it a try. Wow, is all I can say, just amazing! We found our new favorite little get away. Beautiful Italian villa with great food and service. We sat outside and enjoyed waterfalls and a cool breeze while we ate to Italian style music. Best experience we have had in quite a while!

My husband and I went for lunch. I had Fettuccine Alfredo and my husband had Butterflied Shrimp with slaw and fries. My Fettuccine was so good i tild my husband im never making it at home again. Homemade noodles. My husband's shrimp also good. Nice indoor area or very nice courtyard. Looks and feels like your in a real Villa.

If you want an excellent setting and superb food Villa Privata is your place! The service is excellent and friendly. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!! It’s a treasure you shouldn’t miss.

The food here is extremely good and as a customer there I'm very pleased. Ive never been disappointed with the food or customer service. Everyone is extremely polite and the customer service is absolutely amazing, i will continue to go here.

Loved this little place that's out of the way, about an hour out of Sacramento, but worth the drive, excellent food, great service, the real eye candy is the grounds, take a walk
