The owners are warm and friendly. Great selection of beer and other adult beverages. Delicious pastries and fresh made sandwiches. They also have a small selection of fishing tackle. Try the baklava, it’s amazing!

Owners are what make it great. This little store has just about everything you need and is conveniently located in downtown Niles.

Mr. Mikey's is by far one of the best establishments in Niles. The family that runs the store here are probably the nicest people in the entire east bay.

They have a great selection of food and drinks, and they're always cooking up something special for their customers. I also really appreciate the great selection of craft beer available here.

I love coming here, it reminds me of when I was a kid in the 1980s, this store used to be called Kesley's.

This place is a true gem! It's rare that you experience this type of appreciation from staff of any store. They hired a new person about 6 months ago. And given the awesome history I've had over the last decade at this store, I was a bit worried that the new person could not possibly match the same level of customer service. But, he is awesome too! They truly make you feel that you're appreciated as a customer. They have great coffee in the morning, great sandwiches and other food, and a very good selection of beer.
I told the owner (very lovely lady) that when she gives me the winning lotto ticket I will redo the entire parking lot and make it all perfect! I can't say I've ever been that impressed by any other store that I would do something like that for them.

I stayed with my mom all last week in Niles and ended up going to this store for a lunch sandwich EVERY SINGLE day that I was there. The pre-made sandwiches that they make are AMAZING. The bread is so fresh as well as the deli meats that they use! I loved how convenient the store was to just stop by and find everything that I needed on that trip - and not to mention the woman working at the cash register was extremely sweet! :)

I’ve been coming to Mikey’s for years and it’s such a great place. Sam, his wife and son are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and the prices are very reasonable for a local market. Their breakfast sandwiches are great, as are the fresh tamales they have in near-daily. More, the store is very clean and that they carry fresh fruits and vegetables makes this market a quick win when you don’t want to go to the grocery store.

Best store in the Niles/ Fremont area. Everything a country store could offer. The main focus is the deli that has an abundance of lunch selections. There are pre-made sandwiches for the in-a-hurry crowd as well as super delicious handmade sandwiches. The coffee island has incredible good coffee. The owner is such a good man to meet he is worth the experience of going there. I really love this place.

The go-to market for ALL your day-to-day needs. Has an amazing selection of everything from pet treats to grocery necessities to grab-and-go snacks and drinks. The best, most caring store owner and staff. 10/10 Would highly recommend.

Best local Niles market this is a family owned business and Sam is amazing!! They have everything from deli to produce to homemade tamales also a great selection of beer and wine!! Come check it out you won't be disappointed!!

I love this market! Greatest, kindest folks run it and the locals know that they are, too! Convenient, well stocked, broad selection- this small business is worth the slightly elevated prices (comparing to safeway/lucky- by less than 25-50 cents!) just to know they'll stay around and give you the service we no longer see in markets and stores! LOVE THEM!

This place has EVERYTHING! Mom and pop shop feel. Great sandwiches all in house deli fresh made. Even homemade tamales! Rare and hard to find sodas and drinks.

Wonderful custom made sandwiches, plus piles of fresh ready made sandwiches always available. Big buckets of tamales steaming away at the counter, great selection of wines, and they have worms for fishing.

Great little general store. Has a little bit of everything from coffee to alcohol to groceries and a deli. And it has a small place to sit down and have some lunch. And prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it.
