David is very patient to help me to find what is best for my needs. He keeps me updated for the shipping status. He makes extra effort to wait for me to pick up my electric fireplace. David is a great guy with lots of knowledge in the industry. He will work with you to get exactly what you need at a fair price. Contractors home owners or anyone else looking to upgrade or replace their existing wood burning electric or gas fireplace should definitely talk to him!

Dave has been very very helpful, even as we were making up our mind where to buy the insert. We checked in Vacaville, Fairfield, Benicia and Martinez. Back and forth. Ended up with RCS as they had the features we were looking for.
Give them a chance. Right now until the end of February, you save on the cost of the chimney pipe, which you will need. A savings of just under $400.

David is a wealth of knowledge and not pushy, if your in the market for a gas or electric insert this is the place.

Very helpful and not pushy

Was placing an order, got an email confirming my order with an order number. Then they said I had to get authorization to pay by CC. I get a link to a send a person money, no invoice, no amount and it said the transaction was in British Pounds. The sketchiness only got worse. Sent no money because this is a scammer pretending to be a closed down business.

Possibly a scam! They took payment from me on an outboard motor, and now will not answer the phone or respond to emails. I even had them on live chat, and when i gave them my order number and asked about it, they left the chat...

I made a 2000$ purchase 4 days ago for an outboard motor and still no confirmation of my purchase, shipping or other and unable to contact them through chat, phone, email and am beginning to believe they may be a fraudulent online storefront

I was interested in an outboard motor and couldn't get a straight answer about their phone which was not in service. I couldn't speak to who was listed as the sales manager except through chat. Decided to buy elsewhere.

Update. David took my $3000 deposit. Shipped me the wrong stove. Ignored my calls and the installer's multiple conversations with him. I had to return the stove as it didn't fit and ended up having to get a replacement from a different shop. Never got my deposit back. The credit card company said they couldn't help because too much time had gone by - 6 months for the stove to ship, then more time trying to get David to come through.

Horrible experience overall. Now it looks like he's closed up shop.

David is very knowledgeable and helpful. He freely shares his wealth of information on fireplaces and stoves. You can tell he enjoys his job. His prices are very competitive and, after visiting a couple others in the general area, we decided to go through River City Stoves for our new gas fireplace.

This is probably not a legitimate company. They will not tell you what they sell because they say they sell outboard motors but their website is rivercity stoves. Buyer beware
