The Westin Arlington

Smooth, friendly check-in. The room was spacious and well-equipped, to include a mini fridge, makeup mirror and clock, which I like but which aren't all that common nowadays. Room was also clean! The bed, sheets and pillows were comfortable. The toiletries were high quality. The shower had plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Two bottles of water included, gratis. Temperature control worked well, which is also a must. One of the better experiences I've had in Arlington.

The Westin offered a gratifying experience this time, with its impeccable cleanliness and spot-on ambiance. Room service was remarkably efficient, and the location couldn't be better—right across the street from Carpool bar, which boasted an awesome vibe for evening relaxation. My only wish is for extended pool hours, as having access until at least midnight would have been the cherry on top of an already delightful stay.

Great hotel, very clean and good service. Location is hardly walkable from the Virginia Square metro station during the winter at least, so if you’re relying on the metro for transportation I’d recommend somewhere else, but otherwise good stay. Also on the lower floors there was traffic sounds and a dog barking from within the hotel until 10ish, but after that it was a non-issue.

Great location in a safe neighborhood, close to mall and subway. Mohammed at check-in and check-out was super helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of hot and cold options. Super yummy fresh fruit selection was a highlight. Swimming and spa pools were great, but hours a bit limited. Would definitely return to this property.

During my stay, I had the pleasure of meeting the sales coordinator, Vanessa, who took her time to show us around the hotel. Her thorough tour and engaging personality provided a deeper appreciation for the hotel's offerings and amenities. Vanessa's dedication to ensuring guests are well-informed and comfortable is commendable.

A highlight of my stay was the visit to the hotel's restaurant, "The Commentary." At Vanessa's recommendation, I tried the Commentary Burger, and it did not disappoint. The burger was delicious, and the dining experience was made even better by the service provided by Waluka, the restaurant manager. Waluka greeted us with a bright, welcoming smile and ensured we were seated comfortably, reflecting the high level of service that characterizes the Westin Arlington.

I stayed at the Westin Arlington hotel with my family of four and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and very well located, close to many attractions and public transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Unnati from the front desk awho made us feel welcome and took care of our requests promptly. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Washington DC.

Stayed here for a conference. Very pleased all around - nice facility that is well maintained. My room was clean and had a coffee maker and refrigerator. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful the few times I had requests. Conference food was good - nothing special. Neighborhood is nice and seemed safe to walk around.

Unnita and Maria, the front desk ladies, are absolutely the best at what they do. They work with limited space and make the magic happen. These ladies are true professionals.

Went for a friends bday staycation and had a great time in the pool. Tje room was very clean and all the staff I encountered was very polite. Parking kinda sucks in this area and it's $40+ for the garage.

My room sucked. But I was there for a conference. The people who worked making sure that the rooms that we had our meetings did a fantastic job but the rooms where we slept that's a whole another story I stayed on the 9th floor and soon I stepped off the elevator the stale smell of smoke hit me. I guess since I'm not a smoker, it really was disappointing that this supposedly up scale hotel was kept like that. The beds and pillows were way too soft. I feel like people should have a choice of soft or firm.

Absolutely loved staying here! Even though we had a few rooms across from us and next to us with school age kids we did not hear them. I didn't hear doors shutting or didn't hear when someone want to walk down the hallway. Several beautiful outside seating areas. All the way around this was a awesome hotel!!!

The staff could not be any kinder. Everyone I had the pleasure of dealing with went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room was clean, comfy & quiet.

Hotel is in a perfect location- easy to walk to many restaurants and night life. Hotel rooms are big, cozy, and quiet. The front desk staff was also very wracking and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel when you are in Arlington.

I stayed here for work and had the most amazing experience with Michael house man for the event’s department. I mailed boxes to the hotel and he was the only person that was able to find them for me, he was kind and you can tell he took pride in his job. He is the heart of this property and I believe is an incredible asset to the Westin Arlington staff. Thank you Michael for your wonderful attitude and all of your help!

It's my favorite place to stay in Arlington! I love the staff! The restaurant and its staff are just wonderful!

The daily room service provided was great.
We got two double beds for 2 adults and 2 kids for 3 nights

The rooms were very good size. We had a hair drier, weighing machine, iron, iron stand, vanity mirrors, hangers, and coffee machine in our room. And also some other item.
The hotel had a pool and fitness center.
There were lots of restaurants and shopping near walking distance.
Hotel paid parking was expensive, so we parked outside nearby hotel.

I recently stayed at The Westin Arlington and was thoroughly impressed, making it deserving of a five-star review. The room's cleanliness and comfort, particularly the bed, were exceptional, ensuring a restful stay. The service stood out with its friendly and helpful staff. Employees like Unnati, Jimena, and Mari went above and beyond to assist with my needs, making my experience smooth and enjoyable. The hotel's location is another high point; its proximity to restaurants, shopping, and key local sites added convenience to my trip. While some areas, like the shower design, could use improvement, my overall experience was highly positive, solidifying my choice to return in the future.

We stayed at the Westin Arlington for a family spring break trip to DC. We chose this location b/c of it's proximity to the metro, ease of getting into the city, and on-site pool. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property was well-maintained, and the rooms / beds were comfortable. We noticed that the hotel rooms were very quiet and you couldn't hear anyone in the rooms next to us (our friends with kids stayed next to us and I know the kids weren't quiet so that's how I know this!). The hotel is within walking distance to numerous restaurants, a grocery store, and Target, so we were very centrally located. It's w/i walking distance to the Orange and Silver lines, which is great for getting into the city or out to Tysons Corner for Shopping or Dulles Airport. We highly recommend this property for families. The hotel pool was great, albeit the hours were limited (3-10 on Weekends; 6-10 on Weekdays). The hotel had several school groups staying on property but this didn't impact our visit, although the pool was popular depending on the time you went!

The staff is simply amazing. I came in late and right before the room service cut off after flight delays. Not only were the chat functions on the app useful but the staff in the front desk made sure I got a good meal and threw in a few goodies from the gift shop as a courtesy. Talk about service and hospitality.

Then, the entire stay the staff was courteous,and super helpful. 6 stars.

This has to be one of the top five luxury hotels in the Balston area of Arlington. I've stayed here on two separate occasions. My most recent experience was this past week. I checked-in on Sunday and I will be leaving tomorrow to head back to New York. The location is absolutely perfect for my job, and my office is just a few blocks away. The metro is also steps away which makes the location even better. All of the Staff here and Front Desk people have been exceptional, and have really demonstrated a desire to be sure their customers are happy.
