Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Rosslyn

This is my first ever Google Review. I have stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn Rosslyn on multiple occasions through the years and it continues to be a solid choice and very consistent. My most recent visit, I stayed six weeks, and this hotel became my home away from home. This hotel is a standout for me because of the personal attention from each of the staff. The customer service is genuine and made all the difference in my stay. The GM, Assistant GM, and their team, all made me feel so welcome and you can tell they take great pride in their job, this team is a real credit to the Marriott brand. In particular, the Assistant GM, Youness, was supportive of our family's needs. I got sick and needed to isolate from my kid - without any questions asked, Youness helped me move to a room where I could do that and helped us keep our whole family safe and comfortable. From the bottom of my heart, my family and I are so grateful for this level of support and care. In addition to the above and beyond customer service, the hotel is in the perfect location next to a metro, offers a great breakfast buffet, friendly cleaners, convenient laundry facilities on alternating floors, and all rooms are well appointed for families and business travelers alike. There is also a lovely outdoor patio where you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea after a long day. The top notch management team and their staff really make this place and I am a loyal fan of Marriott Residence Inn Rosslyn.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect for my visit. Above all the customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend. Shout out to Flavia and McKenzie. The entire staff was courteous and helpful, but they were standouts.

Superb location! Room dated and some cabinets need to be replaced. Front desk staff are very professional and friendly, 5 stars! Kudos to Mamhoud, reaching above and beyond , customer centric! Will definitely stay again!

Amazing time there, they have a security system on the elevator so everyone goes to the floor their room is on. Service amazing with good housekeeping. The room was also comfy and the TV had channels along with Netflix, YouTube and more. Breakfast was delicious but had less vegetarian options. Great stay! Location good too.

Great location and price! It was a pleasant check in experience and it comes with complimentary breakfast which was great! The coffee was decent and the food was good. It’s minutes of target if you forgot anything for your travels and/or to pick up drinks and snacks. Also. It’s a not a far walk into Georgetown DC or 5 min Uber ride. They are currently renovating the facility, which is great for future visits.

We arrived terribly late off a flight and were extremely exhausted. We reserved a room last minute. Bethlehem went above and beyond the call of duty for a guest specialist. She helped us and accommodated us last minute/ She truly was an angel. I highly recommend here. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Showers were great. The breakfast was very good.

I am a person who has to travel to the DC area annually with family for the Marine Corps Birthday and festivities at The Wall and Iwo Jima Memorial.
We hold an annual banquet for the 2/9 Marines Network as well in the hotel. So for years we have continually stayed at this hotel.
They have a great breakfast, gym available and clean rooms.
Also, if you are ever in need of any items such as toiletries or have any questions, they always have great resources. And will gladly give them to you with a smile.
As far as transportation, the Metro is a 5 minute walk away and there is a Target and Starbucks nearby.
Would recommend!!!

Awesome stay. Clean, responsive, hospitable front desk staff, quiet, and in an excellent, safe location. Great location for business and pleasure stay. Plenty of dining options and nightlife in the area. It's a hidden treasure.

I love this place, the staff is great, all bedrooms are so clean, and equipped, it’s close to rosslyn metro station, close to target and safeway, you can walk to georgetown, close to the island on potomac river, the breakfast is good, was better before, but still good…

Stayed here for 7 nights. Yes, hotel is not the most "modern"one. but I like that American style of hotel. Room was really spacy, everything was super clean, bed is really comfortable, room service excellent, guys at the reception are really friendly and always with the smile.
Breakfast is too much basic and food could be tastier, but it's complimentary so you can't expect too much from it, it would be enough for you not to be hungry and go out and explore the city.

They offered refreshments, wine, beer, water.
Room clean and cozy.
Was handy to have washer/dryer since we just traveled with a backpack each.
FULL buffet breakfast delicious and with multiple options.

5 to 8 min walking to Rosslyn station, which is 6 stops away from Smithsonian station where the mall is.
Definitely would go back.

Restaurants near walking distance and a Target too.

the rooms was great, kinda old but spacious. every room has kitchen set, dishwasher, iron board, and fridge! i stay for 8nights here and really like it. they have guest laundry in several floors. the breakfast was okay, for 8nights stayer i found the breakfast is different everyday. this hotel close to metro train station, target, starbucks, and metro bus.

Hotel is a touch dated, but the staff do a great job, the space is extremely comfortable and cleanliness is good. Convenient for a multi-night stay just outside DC with many great places to eat a short walk away, as well as being super close to a Target, CVS and a metro stop. Would certainly stay here again as its location make it a great Bonvoy points value.

Cannot stress enough how great of a value this was for the price. Staff was also very friendly!

While the hotel rooms aren't very updated, it sounds like they're about to undergo room renovations. My room was clean and quiet, breakfast was good, and service at the front desk was excellent. Great location within short walking distance of many offices, metro station, restaurants, and some shopping.

Excellent location only minutes to Rosslyn Metro station. About an 8-10 minute walk. Starbucks and Safeway are very close and within walking distance. Nice neighborhood. I got a one bedroom, and it was perfect for our family of 4. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff was accommodating and friendly to any needs we had. I will stay again.

We spent two nights at this Residence Inn and would definitely stay there again. It's located very conveniently to the Rosslyn Metro station as well as a Target store and Starbucks (if the need arises). As some of the other reviews mentioned, the hotel is showing its age in many cases. Chipped paint on the doors, the metal trim was peeling from the light fixture, and some other assorted things. However, the room was clean and was ready for us even with an early arrival. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Again, I would not hesitate to stay at this location again.

We had a great stay at the Marriott as we usually too. Only noticed that their breakfast options have reduced greatly and not a lot of variety. Otherwise it is still maintained and clean. The maintain vivid restrictions as much as possible but mask wearing is not compulsory in common areas

Stayed for 3 days while visiting DC. People were friendly and helpful, especially the check-in staff. The location was convenient, the room was spacious, and we used the full kitchen in the suite often. Will definitely stay here again when we visit next time.

Great stay! Waleed from the front desk really stood out and was so great to have around - he answered every question we had at check-in and during the stay and explained everything so well, he was so on top of it. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member I’ve seen a lot of talented customer service/hospitality professionals, but he has to be my favorite so far!
