In the 10 years we have lived here LOW True Value has been a lifesaver. Need a replacement part for that leaky sink? They’ve got you covered. Want to replace that high maintenance warping wooden deck? They have wonderful products. Want to keep it and get more years out of it? They can help you with the perfect paint on product for that as well. We’ve also rented a variety of equipment through the years to help with our projects inside and out. Their staff is courteous and ready to help with whatever you need. My most recent purchase was floor paint for our laundry room, picture attached.

It’s great to have a small locally owned shop so close to home. The staff always takes great care to make sure their customers get questions answered and the correct items needed for their project. I especially appreciate their detail to maintain a safe shopping experience during COVID. Highly recommend!

I can't begin to express how impressed I was by the store in its entirety. First, while it seems small from the outside, it's quite large and nicely laid out. Practically anything you can think of that you might need is inside. The variety, prices, and service provided by the owner and his staff are second to none. I have lived in Locust Grove for over a year now and only set foot inside last week, but I can safely say it has quickly become my favorite store. I don't need to drive all the way to Fredericksburg or Culpeper to purchase things from corporate stores like Lowes anymore. Everything I need to take care of my home is right up the road and locally operated by members of my own community!

The lady at the register was so helpful. She found the right batteries for my car remote keys and even put them in my remotes for me. Patience of a saint. Hard to find good customer service like that these days.

Dan is the most amazing paint-color specialist! He can match anything. He also shares tips and techniques to give you the best chance of success with your project. He's helped me numerous times and, without a doubt, he's the expert on color!

My absolute favorite store...no matter what issue I need resolved, they know the solution. They have an incredible array of DIY, replacement, and or upgrade hardware, tools supplies. They also provide a variety of rental equipment ranging from moving vehicles/accessories to party activities/consessions. Above all, their staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Good service and staff here. Prices are a little higher then big chain store but service is far better. They also are a Benjamin Moore paint dealer and it beats going downtown.
