Big 5 Sporting Goods

I always like coming to this Big 5 in Hayward. Plenty of parking there has been this young man named Sam he been there for a while now . I think he is the manager now . He is great, helpful, and very nice. Well, as his customer service skills. That's a plus for me. I always find what I'm looking for. Beats going to the San Lorenzo store by far.

Sounds strange but this was the absolute best customer service I've received from a big five.

I don't remember his name but young Asian guy was very friendly, and David the manager was shockingly attentive Pleasant and helpful

I literally but two knives instead of one, just because the customer service was so good

Their shoe sales are a good value all the employees seemed friendly and helpful

I shopped here two times this year for Christmas gifts. Everyone was nice and helpful.

Employees were knowledgeable about fishing and what the different crab traps do. Very helpful for someone going craving for the first time.

I've been going to this location since I was a child. The customer service is always great and you can generally find what you need. I usually go here before trying to find a larger Sporting good store.

Very clean store nice associates. I came here for a fishing license update/duplicate with my correct address. Not only did they help me update my address in the system but they also got me a new printed copy of my fishing license. Very happy!

I rarely venture out to brick and mortar retail spaces anymore. I have found the service so poor that they really give me no reason to shop online. I was presently surprised at this Big 5 location. Service was really good. I will definitely shop here again.

Nice and clean store .. staff is very helpful and ask you at the entrance if you need any help . I went 1st time and don't know the store but rep helped for my need . Provided all required info and comparing with similar products. Prices are also better and comparable with other similar sports goods stores. Lots of parking in front of the store.

It's been a long time since I last went to a Big 5 store. This one in Hayward is a little on the small side, but they had what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the didn't have enough of them, so they checked at other stores. Very helpful. And very knowledgeable about their products.

You walk into a store, and you have no idea what kind of customer service you're going to get. And then you walk into this store and you meet Sam. He is amazing! He is knowledgeable, very friendly and genuinely wants to help. I left thinking that even though this store is far away from me, I would definitely come back to it!

Friendly and helpful staff! I wish the "Protester Planks" would be removed because it looks like the place is closed, until you open the door and realize they're open for business! I'm DEFINITELY returning to this store!

Excellent service! The manager named Sam is super helpful & knowledgeable on the equipment. I purchased 4 pairs of rollerskates here for a decent price, & I will order high-end wheels online. The rollerskates are the Roller Derby high ankle kind & they feel amazzzing. Before looking online for better wheels I will check out this store one more time...if they don't have an item in stock they will order for you. Don't bother going to the one in San Lorenzo...the excellent service you get here makes it worth the trip.

This place is really good only coz of the customer service. Never have i walked in here and not got any help. I in fact didn't get what i was looking for during my last trip but the associate who helped me kept looking till the very last minute. I found that so professional. Plus its a very well organized store. Prices are always reasonable too esp coz i always look out for their coupons and save them.

This Big 5 I loved. The woman (I don't remember her name now)was SUPER polite, informative, and helpful. She made useful suggestions. I didn't buy anything because they didn't have the size I I needed but I would definitely shop here again.

Love the selection of shoes. Only place I've bought them in a decade! Very happy with the Coleman Rigid line of work boots. Quite comfortable and durable!
