Juanito's Mexican Kitchen

Great local place, very nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the food and hot beverages after we froze in the mountains. Service is great and a very reasonable price!

This place is truly a Gem. I usually eat at a restaurant multiple times before I review. Everyone knows that I am brutally honest when it comes to food and customer service. I have done those jobs in the past, and I feel all customer's should have the best experience possible. I figure, if I pay for a service, I expect to get a damn good one. So here we go. 3rd time- Greeted by Maria. She said " Welcome. Sit anywhere you like, feel at home. Well, we were a rowdy bunch and Maria,and Juan were right there laughing along with us. The food was Amazing. Pancho was our server, and a damn amazing one. Always making sure we were happy, and joking around with us. 4th time- Again, greeted by Maria,Pancho, and Juan. Again,the food was Amazing. Just gets better and better. Played a joke on Pancho, and starting to feel more like family. I asked Pancho if he could make my chili a bit hotter, he said " I got you". When My food came, the chili was truly one of the best I have ever eaten. My daughter is extremely allergic to just about anything under the sun. She had an allergic reaction, and all the staff was truly worried about her well-being, and even went above and beyond to help her. Owners are the best. Food is absolutely great, and I didn't mention, an awesome bowling alley as well. I seen a couple of bad reviews, and here is my opinion on those. Again, I am brutally honest. Who ever left the negative review Is Full of it!!!!! These owner's do not have a mean bone in their body, and they run a very clean business. You have to try this place. It is a must!!!!! You will Love everything about it.

I honestly do not believe I have ever had better customer service. We arrived at about 815. Ordered, had our drinks which were awesome, and then ate. Kids loved their food. I have been wanting a chimichanga for forever and this was exactly what I had been waiting for. This experience in itself was good enough for a 5 star review. However, during dinner we had noticed some sombreros sitting on the bar and asked if the kids could take some pictures in them. When we were done with dinner it was already after 9 when they were supposed to close. Still the gentleman there took us into the back room and got us pictures of everyone in the sombreros. We were there until 9:30 laughing and having fun. They never made us feel bad about being there late and were so kind.

Staff so nice and welcoming, the food excellent, great flavors. Serving sizes are big, 3 tostados completely filled the plate, piled high with crisp lettuce 👌 definitely eat here again.

The food was delicious 😋. The service was awesome 😎. Will be coming back.

Our Chimichangas and shrimp Fajita dinners were excellent.

I had a delicious frozen strawberry margarita and my husband ordered the 32oz. WOW! Best ones we’ve had.

The owner was very friendly and gracious.

Wish we lived in the area as we would be regulars at this restaurant.

Recommended by Sunset Inn. Everything was excellent. We had beer, tacos, beans and dessert. If we lived here, we would definitely return.

One of the best Mexican food restaurants I have ever enjoyed. Maria came to our table, talked with us, met some of the family, it was truly a family evening and we will go back tomorrow and every time we are in or near Alamosa. Thank you to everyone for the wonderful meal, service and friendship.

Wow! This is the first restaurant that I ate at that the Owner came out to greet us and shook everybody's hand, sat us at our table, and introduced us to our waitress. 1st class, white glove service!! Too many businesses take their customers for granted and they lack Customer Service. Well, not here. They made it a priority and the food was good. We will be back!!

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our server went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed to enjoy our meal.

Staff here are so friendly and helpful. Very good food with generous portion sizes. Love the sopapillas. They have an all you can eat platter, which my boys thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

Delightful restaurant close to our hotel, offer many traditional Mexican dishes. Very friendly staff, spoke with us after our meal. We felt very welcomed and our tummies well satisfied!

We didn’t go to the restaurant part but did do bowling. We walked in and it was dark but once we saw a worker he turned on the lights and put music on for us. I just don’t think this place gets busy but if you are looking for something to do like bowl it is a great place. Thank you for a good time here :)

I never write reviews, but this place was amazing. I got the fajitas and it’s the best Mexican meal I’ve ever eaten. I’ve eaten Mexican hundreds of times in multiple different states, but this one was the best. Service was amazing and food was amazing. The chips are some of the best I’ve had also. Would 100% recommend to eat here.
