Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/University Area

I love staying at this hotel. It’s an easy check in and check out. There is plenty of water and coffee or tea as desired. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have anything you need to help you feel like home.

We had a great stay after visiting out of state for a concert. We even walked back from the concert ( not recommended but possible) at the Schottstein Center. The breakfast was great & the kids loved the indoor pool. Check in/out was super easy with the Hilton app, my phone was the room key & check out time was noon, which was nice. I only really interacted with employees at breakfast but everyone was nice & helpful. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels & the temperature was easy to control. We even had a nice view of the river. I definitely recommend this hotel!

This is a wonderful property with a wonderful staff. There were very large events going on in town (and our hotel was filled with teenagers!) but the staff never missed a beat. The hotel was clean, breakfast was great and well stocked, they answered all our questions and met every need. With a smile! Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel with extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly and checked-in a large number of people in a very quick time. No issues at all and would definitely stay again. Very convenient for OSU football games or concerts at Ohio Stadium.

Sevice outside of breakfast was great on the other hand lady with hair pinned up or pulled up not very nice to her coworker. As well as customers at times . Seamed short with many in the 2 days I stayed here. And the next question do they have to wear a hair net . Most all places I've been to restaurants or even other hotels.

Just me being in management treat people how you want to be treated. If I done that with her she would not get it .

Mike at the reservation counter was excellent in getting us a room at 10 pm. Everything was booked in town. We had a family member in Riverside hospital ER. Very clean rooms, awesome breakfast. Christina was super nice and attentive on the free breakfast. All hot and delicious!!

Was in Columbus to visit OSU and catch a hockey game at the Schott .. great location, spacious room, and excellent service from front desk associate in addition to the view of the Olentangy River from our room .. also pretty good breakfast and overall good value hotel option

Awesome customer service very clean and neat, spacious rooms well lit very comfy hot showers and a great breakfast. Don't forget the pool

Was a great experience! Checked in through phone, and used phone as room key, very cool! Able to choose whatever room, so top floor it was, which had an awesome view of nearby river, and a peak at the city skyline, and was just a nice clean room. Breakfast was great, and the guy working the chow hall was upbeat and engaged pretty much every guest. Kudos. Highly recommend this establishment!

Very clean hotel, great front desk service. Breakfast in the AM was nice-- and we were a short ride away from our destination! No problem getting a Lyft/Uber in the area. I was very happy with this hotel-- rooms, service, etc.! If I'm in Columbus in the future, I would definitely stay here again!

We were in Columbus for the Ohio State Fair. I loved the cleanliness of the bathroom, the shower had awesome water pressure and the shower doors were very nice. Beds were comfortable, (I brought my own pillow). The room overall was clean. Breakfast had a variety of choices and was good.

One of the best Hilton hotels I've stayed in overall. Everything was up to date and the cleanliness of the room was unparalleled compared to my other recent hotel stays. The only complaints even worth mentioning were the breakfast running out of hot items at 9:20am when it was supposed to run through 10am and some areas in the room were slightly dusty, but I would much rather deal with a little dust than other poior experiences in hotel rooms! Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I had to make an unexpected trip to Ohio due to a family member’s illiness. We stayed here for 2 nights. Let me just say this is one of the nicest and cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. I want to personally thank Carmen for absolutely everything! She made our reservation when we called and told us about restaurants near the hotel. She was so informative and an absolute gem. Thank you Carmen!! We appreciate you and all the staff who made our stay so pleasant. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel.

Our room was very clean. Breakfast was great.

The staff is great. Tyler was the one we dealt most with. So friendly and always had a smile on his face. Room was great and clean. Food wasn't that great but with the location, there was plenty of options for food. The whole staff was very friendly to our dog too. Who also enjoyed Tyler. When she heard his voice, she would run to see him. He always took time to pet her. He also answered any and all questions we had

We stayed at this hotel so that we could attend a concert at Buckeye Stadium. We planned on catching an Uber, but found that it was an easy walk both ways. Hotel staff were awesome, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend for events at the stadium. It is just under two miles, but an easy walk.

Tyler took great care of us!! We came in late night with the school band that had just competed at The Buckeye Invitational!

The front desk here is top notch - sooo friendly and always looking to make your stay better. Special shout out to Tyler who was a smiling face especially awesome to our toddler. Breakfast spread nice and indoor pool was perfectly warm.

Close to Riverside Hospital. I would highly recommend staying here if you have family at Riverside. The staff is wonderful. Robert and Tyler were so helpful during our entire stay. The breakfast was tasty and different every day. We were here for a week and would definitely come back. My mom has mobility issues. We booked a handicap accessible room and the room was perfect. Tyler and Robert were so good to us.
