Wonderful experience! The accommodation was comfortable and well maintained. The free breakfast was excellent, and Eureka at the front desk went above and beyond, being incredibly friendly and helpful during my late-night stay. Highly recommend this place in NY, especially considering its convenient walking distance to the subway.

Eureka is a valuable employee at Ft Hamilton Lodging. She was the face of Ft Hamilton during our weekend getaway. We appreciated how friendly she was every time we stopped at the front desk. She not only smiled but also highly professional and helpful.

They have an incredibly kind staff. Rooms were a great size. This was a perfect stay for our large family while visiting the city. We will definitely stay again!

The rooms are outdated, but obviously, the rates and for what it is are okay. The lady is always welcoming on the front, clean bathrooms, breakfast included, and kids always love co.i . here ,si ce they have their own sofabed. I'll 100 stay here I stead of Manhattan for the holidays if you come to visit. It's just 30 minute away!!!

After a long day in the road, the exceptionally warm welcome set the time for a great stay. The receptionist even handed us several menus of local restaurants that are able to deliver on to post. The room was spotlessly clean and the receptionist called after a few minutes to make sure everything was good to go. I would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient location. The room are nice but I tend to get the same room with the toilet that always leaks no matter how many times I've requested a work order for it. Depending on what time you check in or out and what day....you may encounter the best and worst front desk staff member.

A place of peace in New York City (Brooklyn). Great place to stay to see the city. The facilities are clean, laundry available, good basic breakfast. Only good things to say about my stay!!! Great customer service, Thx Yan.

In addition to the hotel being exactly like a non-Military hotel with all the amenities and feel of a regular hotel, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. From Frances who called me back to let me know a room had become available to Eureka (sp?) who lavished positive reinforcement to my daughter with special needs who was there to see her photo appear at Times Square. Not forgetting the two wonderful women on duty the night we checked in. All were warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was a one bedroom with kitchen and eating space. Ample, extremely comfortable and immaculate!

One of the best kept secrets of NYC, but not among the military. At least I hope not! It does fill up during weekends and peak season, so book early. And call at 6pm to see if there's a cancelation...before you book at NYC prices elsewhere!
And when you stay, hot breakfast is there for you in the AM. But tip the lady (usually it's a lady) who takes care of that for you! 🤑 Just like you should for the cleaning team when you checkout of the room. They all work pretty hard for not much money. A couple of dollars in a tip ain't gonna hurt you 😉

This Holliday Inn provided great customer service (which I am big on)! They helped us with directions around the area, accommodations around the hotel, parking and the whole nine yards. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. They also provided a roll away bed for our convienceince. They offer snacks and food for the rooms right in the main lobby. There is even a commissary and PX right behind the hotel in walking distance (3-5 min). The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the train station so you can easily get to NYC attractions. Overall great place to visit the city and fairly priced.

Stopped here for the night with my daughter after leaving Ft. Drum and before starting our journey to Washington State. Wonderful hotel with Great Staff and Customer Service. Ft. Hamilton is also where I joined the Army in 1983. I recommend all Veterans, Spouses and Retirees to stop here when possible when visiting New York.

First off I would like to start by saying this is the first time I have ever given a review. To describe myself I am a double arm below the shoulder amputee. The staff at this Hotel could not have been more accommodating and helpful to me. Everyone here has gone well above my expectations on helping me. For anyone considering staying here I would say you will have an amazing experience. Thank you to everyone from the maid service to the cooks and especially to the amazing people who work behind the desk.

My friend, my family and I have stayed at the Holiday Inn on Fort Hamilton multiple times and we just love it there. Every single staff member is incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are very clean, the beds comfortable, the breakfast good and one feels very safe on base. I can highly recommend the place and am always happy to come back.

Our family stayed at your hotel last weekend for a Yankees game! We absolutely love the staff from the front desk, to the kitchen staff and all maintenance and housekeeping! Everyone is always so welcoming. This specific trip we wanted to acknowledge Harnell with the kitchen. He was so warm and inviting to us. He talked with my mother for a while about her stay here and visiting from Washington State. He talked with my daughter about her shoe style! Haha! They had a great talk about Jordans! He made us all laugh and really enjoyed our breakfast experience and stay with you all. We will be back to see you all again soon!

Our stay as always was exceptional. The staff was courteous and attentive to my family needs. Yan and the other staff members made our stay a five star experience.

Clean and comfortable rooms with suites available. Great hot breakfast and great views of Verrazano bridge. Close enough to get into Manhattan in about an hour.
