Winfield Grill

The food was great with very generous portions. It's a bustling restaurant and bar. We went after the lunch rush and it was still quite busy, which speaks well for the restaurant. Our server was excellent, as well.

Although we sat in the dining area, the bar looked very nice. A good atmosphere for adults looking for a nicer bar that isn't full of twenty-somethings. Nothing wrong with twenty-somethings, but the types of bars that appeal to them vs adults in their 30s and up are often quite different.

1 st time going, and it was honestly great! The food and drinks were superb! There were obviously conversations, but the volume was comfortable. We both had the shaved steak sandwich with peppers, mushrooms and onions. The bread was soft with the perfect crust. The flavor was great it didn't need added sauce. We split the truffle fries and they were amazing. I had two mixed drinks and both were tasty. The waitress was on point! Great lighting. Large booths. Will definitely return again and again.

Fish fry, buffalo bites and aranchini. All good. Professional service. Thank you. We sat outside. Eastside in front. Very good , clean tables and chairs with umbrellas. It was evening so we were out of the sun anyways. Piped music. The five tables out front were all taken. It was Friday. We saw plenty of happy traffic into the grill. Great experience with Mum. They have a selection of cocktails as well.

Ooh Winnie’s (Yes I’ve given them a nickname) 😂 I love it here!.After a longggg stressful day at work Winnie’s is the place to be! A few green tea shots do the trick! lol The atmosphere gets crowded for sure but the bartenders are really good with keeping up with everyone!

Side note: Parking is good and the chicken wings are good too. 10 out of 10 recommend See you soon Winnie’s 😉

Amazing pizza and wings. The server was very friendly and I would absolutely go again. They were kid friendly and didn’t mind I had an infant with me. Specifically the white pizza is definitely worth trying.

Yum! Great spot for brunch and lunch! Lots of tables, always busy though so consider reservations on weekends. Parking is tight but there are two parking lots available and street parking. Bathrooms are clean. Food is delicious. My favorite is the buffalo chicken sandwich with their steak fries!

The quality food is high, the service is good and always friendly, and they offer a large sized parking lot for the area. Recommended dinner spot. Been here multiple times, and I've always been pleased with all my orders. Their burgers, hot sandwiches, and Cajun fries are recommended.

I have come here a few times and it always is amazing! The French Onion soup here is one of the best I have ever had. I also went with their Cobb salad and added steak to it. For an added blast of flavor I also added craisins to it. The staff was great and I didnt have to wait long for our food. I would recommend this place.

Had a great first date there! We sat at a high top, and our server gave the perfect amount of privacy and checking in. The food was served timely and was delicious! Thanks, Winfield!

We popped in here for dinner on a Monday night at 7ish and there was a pretty good sized crowd. All the food smelled amazing and the beer was good. I completely forgot to take a picture of my dinner that's how good it was. I had the salmon dish and it was perfectly seasoned. Some places overly saturate their salmon in a sugar glaze but this just had a hint of sweet. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were good. I'd definitely come again when I come back!

I eat lunch here a few times a week. Wonderful staff, good food!

I've been going to this restaurant for many years. A cozy and peaceful atmosphere, great food and service! Yes, the price Is right! Outside sitting if you prefer! The bar is separate, as you enter it's towards the right. At times I do order to pick up.

Absolutely the best restaurant experience we have have had in years! Our waitress Tiara was very polite and helpful. We ordered the fish fry, Signature burger, and white pizza. The portions are HUGE, money well spent. It’s hard to find establishments these days with excellent service AND food.

I’m still thinking about the fish fry (unfortunately they are closed Sundays and Mondays) or else I’d be there right now grabbing a to go order.

Ate at Winfield Grill many times when I was in Rochester from 2005 - 2017. Always had a great meal at the Grill. The hamburgers were always phenomenal; but when I brought my (grownup) kids here and they said that the burgers (in particular they had a blue cheese and mushroom burger) may have been
- the best that they've ever had at a restaurant - I thought it was worth sharing! If there is one type of food those two know, it is burgers - as they've had them all over the USA! If they said it may have been the best - ever - that is saying something!

This is a must if you are in the Rochester area. Staff are amazing. Even when very busy they were attentive and friendly. Food is amazing. Highly recommend the Winfield Burger. Will definitely be coming back next time I am in town.
