This is one of my favorite spots to go close by. A beautiful hike alongside a waterfall abundant creek. The caves are a fun little spot to check out as well. The trail down to the main falls is very easy to traverse. The stairs down can be a little sketchy. Please supervise small children closely. Ive known of 2 instances where a child has fallen off of them. Luckily they were not seriously injured. Keep an aye out for the little orange salamanders on the trail. Lol

Excellent trail with a quick payoff. I "hiked" this trail (many) years ago when I was a kid and it was little more than a muddy path to some limestone caves and a waterfall. There have since been serious improvements made. You do need to watch your step in a few places, but this would be a great option for families with a taste for adventure, but maybe not the time or stamina for a long, difficult hike.

For a very short hike this has a lot to offer. The hiking trails are located in a gorge as a result there are many waterfalls. The tufa caves are also located along trails. These caves were featured on a mural in the 1939 World's Fair. Finally, there are many historical sites as well. Some of the waterfalls like the Cheesebox Falls and Sawmill Falls are named after these historic sites. For such a short hike you can't ask for much more. Stop by and take a hike!

Absolute gem of a place! The trail is located down behind the school and the parking is in the school parking lots, so you may want to plan your trip here when school isnt in session or you may not have a place to park.

The trails are well marked and its an easy loop trail and its not a long trail, but plan on spending some time here taking in the beauty of the waterfalls and woods. Trail can be muddy after a good rain especially near the side falls that will flow across the trail if its rained hard enough

There are several waterfalls here, and there are even more side falls that will appear after a good rain. The stairs down to Creamery Falls (as of July 6 2024) is closed because the 2nd half has come unattached. All the falls are accessible to view if you are careful, you can make your way to them. All of the falls are just spectacular.

The caves part of the trail, located near Creamery falls, was pretty neat. I poked my head into a few of the caves and they dont go back very far, but still pretty neat.

Only negatives are the bathroom here is absolutely disgusting so maybe pass on using that. And there is way too much trash being left by people. Please pick up after yourself!!

Park is free, but there is a donation box, so please leave a donation if you can. A few picnic tables at the start of the park. No camping, no fires, no swimming

Beautiful hiking trails and picnic areas. Lots of waterfalls and climbing rocks. Historical postings and remains of old water powered Mills are all along the trails.

OMG!!! I had so much fun here! I have been wanting to hike in an area where there were waterfalls, and not only were there several of those, there were caves! Obviously, be extremely careful around all of these things. The ground was somewhat muddy and a little slippery, even for my hiking boots. Just take your time and be careful and you can explore all the awesome things here. Many different ecosystems, lots of signage on the trail to inform you about what you are seeing, and at the very beginning there is a great map and you can take a pamphlet to help you identify what you are looking at.

I loved this place. It is nice and no one tends to bother you.bif you want to be completely alone go early. Even on a sat there is jit much people there. The water is ice cold at times. There is ample parking and bring a bathing suit. You can also just go in the trash hiking, can be pretty steep bit most have steps made. Great for cardio
