Piccola Ristorante Bar

If you are looking for a delicious and relaxed meal, Piccola Ristorante is the place to go. Authentic Italian food that reminds me of what my grandparents made when I was younger.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. To preface this, my wife and I have family that are from Italy. We have eaten at numerous authentic Italian restaurants as well as home cooked Italian meals. We are in town from Georgia on vacation, and we stumbled upon this gem.

With that being said, this was the BEST Italian food we've both ever had. Perfect portions and everything was perfectly cooked. The Bruschetta was out of this world. Risotto that my wife loved so much it upset her because she can't make it that good. Homemade Fettuccine noodle Carbanara was fantastic. Visit if you can and order anything you'd like, I'm sure it will be superb.

The waitress and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food wS excellent the chef even came out to talk to us and shared how fresh the food was and how he made homemade pasta. The Martinj was excellent and made with extra care and presentation. We are new regulars.

Just got home a few minutes from a fantastic dining experience! We’ve been here before, usually on special occasions. Arrived at 3:35, parked right up front … love using the passport parking app. Walked in and were told to sit wherever we wanted. Hmm, there’s a nice leather booth. Waters we’re poured, and we ordered our wines, house whites, which were delicious. We started out with a Calamari appetizer, it was perfectly fried, the meat was tender, and the dipping sauce amazing. For our dinners, I ordered the Gnocchi Del Piemonte. Man, that hit the spot! My wife wanted Carbonara, which was not on the menu, but; our very pleasant server said she could have anything she wanted, and they would make it! She loved it, and we cleaned our plates! Oh, fresh bread with a fantastic dipping oil was brought as soon as we sat. We highly recommend Piccola and can’t wait to return to try out the other fantastic dishes!

Chailyn and Kendra helped us organize a last-minute private lunch for 30 guests of all ages and appetites. The food was stunning and everyone loved the generous family-style dishes. The service was so smooth — Chailyn anticipated all our needs, especially since we organized this within a couple of days. I recommend Piccola for private functions: they curtained off the back of the restaurant for our party.

The food was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and fast. Overall, it was a great experience.

Some of the best risotto I have ever had. I ate their three nights in a row and ate the risotto dish every single night! The limoncello cake was also excellent.

We had dinner here for New Years Eve... Not too busy, but the service started slow... Eventually, the service speed picked up. The meals/pasta were all fantastic. We have eaten here before and always have had great meals. A good pick for New Year Eve dinner!

My girl and I made reservations here. This was my first time being here, the customer service was good, the atmosphere was relaxing. The martini was delicious! The scallop and lobster dish was creamy and exquisite! The meatballs were full of flavor and the sauce was very well seasoned! This place is expensive compared to other places. But, if you want to go here for a special occasion, I highly recommend it!!

Outstanding food and service! Awesome drinks. Can't wait to go back! I had the Fruiti de Mare, and all the bits of seafood were fantastic! I'm not even big into mussels, but these were just delicious! So happy with the scallops, and the shrimp, and the calamari, and the lobster too! I have to make a special note of the marinara sauce - it's perfect. So happy. Thank you!

Today I had the best meal ever in all my times going to Piccolas. The food was excellent, came out hot and fresh and beautiful presentation. The espresso martini was a work of art and the best one I ever had! The waitress was excellent, friendly and attentive. The whole experience was lovely and I am looking forward to going back there again soon.

I had a fantastic dinner. Everything was delicious. Food came on time. Waiters were very friendly towards me.

Best Italian restaurant we have ever been to. Super staff that work as a team. The food is delicious!! They are very customer service oriented. Tiramisu is the best we have ever had! Stuffed mushrooms were awesome!

Had another dinner at Piccola's. Oh my! So so good.. we had tableside Caesar for two.. Ally made it for us. She did a great job!! We shared the Veal Piccola Italia.. Veal wrapped around Maine Lobster Claw meat and Asparagus with a sherry wine sauce and pasta. So so good!

I've been dining at Piccola since it opened years ago. I dined there today and had the best food and service that I've had in many years. It is very evident that the owner, cook and staff are all serious about doing their best so you have delicious food and service. All of our food came out to our table hot and fresh from the kitchen. Even the bread was hot and fresh out if the oven. The seasoned olive oil is absolutly delicious and they automatically brought it out without our having to ask for it which is another positive change I noticed right away. The quality of ingredients was evident in the flavor of everything we ordered. The drinks and desserts were also delicious. Our servers were exceptional and friendly. We will definately be going back more frequently now that they have stepped up their game so much. Thank you Picocola for striving for excellence instead of just mediocre.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner here for 24 people…it was the busiest night in Manchester and a line waiting for tables were out the door. We had a lovely spot in the back of the restaurant with the option of curtains to dampen the noise (which it did). They were ready for us, spot on service, the food was fresh and fantastic. We did a selection of dishes; scallops, steak, chicken and haddock…the food was cooked to perfection and served hot! Everyone was pleased! Thank you Chailyn and those at Piccolas!!

I've been eating at Piccola's for years and just noticed I've never written a review. I always enjoy bringing special people here for special occasions. Chef Johnny creates each meal with the love and passion only he can give. Every bite is like a packaged smile and the atmosphere is quiet and classy. Some of the employees have been there for many years which makes each visit like a trip home.

The food was perfect.
Bread on the table and dipping sauce-watch out there’s some kick to it.
Apps: Fried calamari, perfect, not rubbery or like you’re eating a rubber band. Oysters, I’m not an oyster fan and yumm!
Dinner: haddock, amazing and great, risotto w/scallops and shrimp-wow, lasagna, omg fresh made pasta and perfect layers. No room for dessert ☹
Cocktails: mule, blueberry, old fashion and Vanderbilt-yup, get them.
Service was amazing, lots of attention and making sure everything was okay.
We’ll be back.

We love Piccola Italia! Traveling has prevented us from being here for quite some time, but I love reporting that top quality remains consistent! Fabulous homemade pasta... Great sauces/gravy... And they will prepare items to suit your preferences. So delicious! They never rush guests who want to linger, yet they will serve you rapidly if you are in a hurry. Awesome, Johnny & company!

First visit. Nice environment, amazing service and everything you’d expect and hope for in a small town family run Italian restaurant. To be honest I was a guest and I’m not a big Italian Food fan especially dishes heavy with cheese or tomato sauce but if you are this is your place! As one who has cooked Italian most of my life for friends, I know what is a crowd pleaser and it’s no wonder this place is always busy. I had the egg plan parmigiana and others at the table had veal, chicken, marsala, and piccata. Dishes were finished and enjoyed. If you love Italian and are in town, this is your place!
