Went in looking for a used adult mountain bike and I wasn't disappointed. Decent selection and prices are fair. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm a returning customer. My first visit was in the early ti mid 90s, and I bought a Giant Iguana from them. I definitely recommend the bike barn.

I took in a very old Motobecane bicycle for a serious tune-up. They gave me a quote after looking it over and said it would be done in 3 days. The quote was quite reasonable, and became even more so when doing the work they found extra parts that needed to be replaced and they did the work (parts and labor) without adding anything to the bill. The work was done on-time, and they even cleaned up the bike, tested it out, and adjusted the seat properly. They were very pleasant and professional. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Came in because my friend broke a his brake lever on our trip to downhill parks across New England. They took the time to take a brake off one of their bikes for us to replace ours and did the work within a few hours. People were amazing and because of them we can continue on with our trip, on to the next mountain!

Always treated me great. Repairs. New accessories of a higher quality. Locks, mirrors, and of course tune-ups!

I purchased a vintage 1959 Schwinn from eBay and glad I took it to The Bike Barn for assembly and other work.
Jim did a great job with assembly and installed new tires and brake pads that I ordered from Amazon as the original tires were dried-out and cracked and original brake pads had hardened.
He got it cleaned-up nicely, working properly, and inspected for safety.
I'll be going back to Bike Barn for future services and highly recommend them (Jim & owner Tom) if you're looking to purchase a new / used bike or just need service.

Who would have thought Bike Barn did hockey skate sharpening? Thanks to some local hockey moms at the rink I was directed to Bike Barn for skate sharpening. My son needed a very specific machine (Sparx) and a certain cut. The owner gave me the best customer service and went above and beyond with taking care of the skates. So grateful we found Bike Barn during our hockey tournament.

Saw an ad for a used road bike on Craigslist from the Bike Barn. Stopped in to check it out, it was exactly as described. I liked the bike (and the service!) so much that I bought it. The guys were super helpful, walking me through the important parts of the bike and helping it get set up before I went on my way. Couldn't have asked for better. Thank you, gentlemen!

Everyone at the shop was very kind and knowledgeable. I had never bought a bike before. When I told them what I was working for they showed me two different options and let me take both around the block to see which one I liked best. They also helped me pick out the accessories that would fit the bike and my needs best and installed them for me. They also adjusted the seat and handle bars to fit so I could ride it right out of the store. Probably the easiest shopping experience I've had.

Had such a great experience with The Bike Barn. Originally saw one of their beautiful Huffy bikes on Craigslist and wanted it immediately. The original price for it was $199, but I offered $150 and they took it because they knew how badly I wanted the bike. With the shortage of bikes around and the popularity of these kind of cruisers, I was super lucky to find a bike in such great shape. I talked to Pat on the phone and he was extremely nice and is clearly very loyal to his customers. He had many people calling and offering him full price for the bike, but he had turned them down because he had already promised me the bike!!! That’s a professional business right there!!!! The two hour drive to get the bike was extremely worth it and I would drive that again to buy another bike from them! The bike was all tuned up and ready to go by the time I got there and the owner, Tom, was extremely nice and very professional. Definitely recommend this place!!! Thanks again!!!!

Just purchased a Specialized Vedo. Tom and his crew are awesome. Tom and his team made a couple of changes to better suit me. Another set up the app on my phone and walked me thru. They gave me more info than I can handle. Tried the bike and could not be happier !

Great local shop! I visited due to a brake issue, and they were able to address it right away. They made a number of adjustments and explained what the likely cause was. Affordable, attentive, and super quick turnaround.

I went down last week to see If I could rebuild my early 20s Enduro. The guys looked it over and although they said it could be done, it would never be the same. They were VERY SMART AND KNOWLEDGEABLE and honest with me about my bike. Thanks Guys!
I decided to go new with the Stumpy as it fit my budget. These guys walked me through every piece of the bike and had a couple of extras that I wanted in stock..

Found this to be the affordable place that does inner tube replacements. Also realized how thorough these guys are. Went to some bike shop a few months back and got brand new tires only for them to be warped by my wheel that at the time was also broken. They couldn’t give me a refund so I went here and they immediately found that my bike wheel was the problem, offered solutions, fixed my bike in maybe 20 minutes, and walked out with a new tire and a fixed wheel. This is now my go to bike shop in Manchester.

Affordable prices! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Since we purchased my son's bike there we get a 10% discount on accessories, they helped him pick out exactly what he was looking for in a bike as well as fitted him for the perfect size helmet. Always someone to greet us when we walk in and assist us with whatever we need. Highly recommend purchasing your next bike here!

I owned my own business for 11 years in manchester nh I know what good customer service is. I have been doing business with the bike barn since the mid 90's. I recently brought my 2 Mt Bikes in for service. They were fixed promptly, tested, and were returned to me in a matter of a few days. I was told by others that they were not repairable and to buy 2 new bikes. They are now as good as new thanks to the boys at the bike barn and at a very small cost. I will continue to do business at the bike barn for another 25 years. they are the best.

Must love dogs! I was immediately greeted by their dog that wanted to play fetch. A real sweetheart. As a bike mechanic it was great to talk shop and geek out over their vintage bicycle collection. The shop owner and his son, I presume, took the time to answer all of my questions. They have a great selection of Specialized bikes and accessories. Prices were very reasonable.

A bike mechanic's bike shop!
You don't need to be a bike mechanic to benefit, but these guys are good, whether or not. On a three-week "busman's holiday" bike trip, I stopped in to replenish my inner tube supply, and wait for passing showers to abate.
At many bike shops, I am happy if they have 700c presta tubes. By contrast, these guys had four or five 700c widths of presta valve tubes to choose from. (For efficiency, I pack the thinnest, rather than those fit for my tires.)
As the rains were predicted to ease up, they were happy to let me leave my bike stuff while I lunched at a local sandwich shop. Though the rains never abated, I was a happy camper when I finally left.

The Bike Barn has excellent costumer service and a great selection of bikes. I purchased my first serious to me road bike a few weeks ago from them and enjoyed a stress free and insightful shopping experience. I was able to test ride numerous bikes by myself at my own pace. Every question I had was answered honestly. I value a hassle free buying experience where I feel like I'm interacting with an old friend. That is exactly how I felt at the Bike Barn.

Sent in my bike for a grocery list of repairs last week. The line was down the street so I knew they were backed up with orders, I was prepared to wait a while regardless.

They had my bike ready to go 5 days early from their estimate. Very inexpensive for what most shops charge.

Bought a new Mountain bike here... new to the sport so my knowledge hasn’t caught up to my excitement yet. After purchasing the bike and riding it a couple of times I realized it felt a bit big for me. I brought that bike in told them the issue. They exchanged the larger bike for the next size down and 15 minutes later I’m out the door with a properly sized bike. Great customer service!!!! Would recommend anyone looking for a bike to try this place out first!
