J Alexander Fine Jewelers has real jewelers on the premises, unlike most chain jewelry stores typically found in malls, and the only thing better than their excellent custom work is their very excellent customer service. Here are pictures of my custom engagement/wedding rings set done by J Alexander and their sister store, and of a custom diamond Initial necklace they made for me. They also customized some pieces of inherited jewelry for me, using diamonds from some pieces I inherited (and did not wish to keep) that they set into other pieces I inherited (which had no stones), one of which (the Star of David) is also pictured below. The last picture of a very unusual piece is a necklace with a pendant containing a fire opal and druzy with both natural (textured) and polished (smooth) portions of the same piece of druzy.

John and Christine are wonderful. I recently had some work done on my ring. When I got it back one of the prongs caught on things. I brought it back and they reviewed and fixed the problem! Great experience, and they are both so easy to speak/work with. I've been looking for a good jeweler, but I found my new jeweler at J. Alexander Fine Jewelers! Thank you!

JA was so good to us! I had inherited a ring from my grandmother with a beautiful stone, but an outdated setting. He worked with us thoroughly to design a custom setting. Every day we see it, we're thankful for it!

Along with the custom engagement ring, he made a matching wedding ring that fit perfectly with the unique design.

JA is very good at what they do, and are excellent to work with as customers. Getting engaged is a lot of work, and a lot of stress. Getting a ring, because of JA, was not only stress free, but one of the most exciting parts of the process.

I had never had my engagement and wedding rings cleaned or rodium-plated in the almost 4 years that I have had them. They were looking quite dull and had a serious gold tint to them. I brought them to J Alexander Jewelers on a Wednesday afternoon to have them re-plated, polished, stones checked, etc. To start, the staff there is SO nice and welcoming. Made me feel very comfortable right off the bat. My rings were ready to pick up first thing Friday morning and they came out so so beautiful!. They literally look how they looked when I first got them. They do amazing work! 10/10 recommend them if you’re looking for an amazing local jeweler :) will definitely be going back. I go to John for all my Jewelery needs weather its for a new piece, repair, cleaning, or trade in. I have always been treated well and payed the right price. Ive had bad experiences with others, but never had any issues with J. Alexander. Top notch if you ask me!

I went to John several years ago looking to fix some jewelry. I met the most wonderful people there. So not only have they fixed some of my jewelry, but now over the last several years I have had him make custom jewelry, and even find hard to locate pieces if they couldn’t make them custom. I have only had wonderful and positive experiences with John and his staff. John knows my personally and always knows what wears nice on me. He can get merchandise in on time. Prices are great. He has repaired, replaced, and sized many things for me. I will never go any place else. So friendly.

Thank you John for restoring my rings to their original beauty. I lost a diamond a while back when one of my prongs broke on a sweater. We never found the diamond. I was heartbroken. Fortunately my childhood best friend got engaged to an awesome jeweler. I'm finally able to get her back and I got my band freshened up as well. John you did an amazing job, not only did he replace the diamond but fix up all the prongs so I won't be losing anymore. It's like brand new. When he saw my wedding band was yellow he offered to rerodium and clean my wedding band included in the price. If you were closer I would recommend all my friends, but despite the hour and a half drive for me I will be back for all of my jewelry needs. I only trust J.Alexander!

I wouldn’t trust any other jeweler with my jewelry. I have gotten multiple family heirlooms restored and refer all of my family members. my now husband worked with them to make custom engagement ring and helped me restore my grandmothers wedding band. Alexis and John are the greatest, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The owners are very friendly. Love that they do repairs on the premises. Alexis is their ‘Lady Jeweler’. She is very into vintage and estate jewelry and researching it. John is the ‘go to’ guy. He will meet you at your home, at the store before or after hours to accommodate your schedule. Design and custom work is their specialty. Such a great family owned and operated store.
