Dunes Harbor Family Camp

Dunes Harbor is an amazing campground! We are definitely coming back next year. All of the grounds are very nice and well maintained. Lush grass areas and flowers throughout. The store and ice cream shop are great also. The pool area is nice and clean. The playground is also nice. The lots around the outside (where we stayed) are vey scenic. This is a very familiar oriented campground with reasonable rules to make it enjoyable for all ages. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing experience with our small family at Dunes Harbor! Facility is very nice and extremely well maintained. Plentiful staff was all very helpful and kind. Bath houses were cleaned daily for an hour and a half and it was noticable, sparkling clean and no smell!
Daily activities are available for the family. Anything from horseback riding to crafts for the kids, to inflatables. Staff communicated daily through text messages about activities, checkout information, and helpful tips!
The camp ground is run by a Christian organization and it is noticeable as well. They have rules about noise, alcohol is not allowed on the premises, and modest swimwear is kindly requested at the awesome pool/kids splash area!
In addition to the pool area, they have play grounds, swings, hammocks, corn hole, sand volleyball, hiking trails, kayaks, an ice cream shop, gift/convenience store, and much more!
Can't say enough good about this place and we will definitely tell our friends about it and hopefully be back in the future!

Had a great time for the fall harvest weekend. We brought our 3 yr old grandson. He loved the tractor ride, pony ride and trunk or treat, and ice cream. We've been at the campground before in the fall and the ice cream shop was not open, so loved that it was open. The park is very family oriented

This campground is absolutely amazing! The sites and facilities are very clean, the staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Our site was enormous, and there was a large common area behind us that made it feel even larger. This will be the only campground in the Silver Lake area that we will be staying at when we visit that area. Holiday Lake is a great place to fish as well.

I am a wedding photographer and I love staying at Dunes Harbor Family Camp whenever I have to go to Silver Lake Sand Dunes (whether for an engagement shoot or elopement) and it’s by far the nicest campground! Close to water, the dunes and plenty of activities. Very clean bathrooms and the most amazing pool I’ve ever seen for a campground!! I will definitely be back again someday!

We found this place online and it was wonderful! The atmosphere was very family friendly, we didn’t feel crowded at our tent site and it was very clean! I also loved their trash pickup service. The had lots of areas for the kids to play and they were close to the dunes! We definitely plan to go back. :)

Third year in a row and never disappointed! This is such a beautiful campground with the best staff and very clean! Lots are spacious and easy to back into. Pull through available, as well. Will continue to be an annual trip for us!

We rented a cabin and it was clean and spacious. They give you two rooms, one with a queen bed and one with two bunk beds with one bed on the bottom being a queen as well. The living area was open with a fridge, microwave, and a spacious counter. Covered porch with a picnic table outside. Park was clean and kept up nicely. It was during off season so not too busy. Would reccomend tho!

AMAZING place for families!! The facilities are clean, the pool is like a small water park, and the playground/basketball courts are very nice. No pressure programming provides fun activities to engage with your kids in different ways. We didn't want to leave!!

There did seem like there was a lot of rules. But that was GREAT for family camping. No drunks or loud partying when the kids were sleeping.

Everything was clean, nice and new. Beautiful pool. Very close to the dunes.

Update. 2 years later.

We went back and stayed in the rustic cabins. It was a good time. Not as good as being in the motorhome, as the rustic cabins are a little farther from the playground and pool area.

Very nice campground. Clean and prices were reasonable on souvenirs and ice cream. It would be nice to offer complimentary service to the dunes and beach area.

This was our first time camping at this campground, We absolutely loved it!! So clean, friendly staff, so many fun things to do!! We definitely will be back next year❣

This is by far the best place to camp near silver lake sand dunes...clean, family friendly, great family activities, horse rides, trail rides, hay rides, lake, pool, kayaks, trails and close enough to everything but far enough away to be peaceful...won't stay anywhere else now...thank you.

Amazing, Family Friendly Campground!! Just down the road from Mac Woods Dune Rides and everything Silver Lake has to offer. This campground is so clean and grassy, with tons for the kids to do. The staff is friendly and the bathrooms were the cleanest we've ever seen. The onsite candy store, laundry, heated pool, and ice cream shop were all added bonuses. You can even drop your kayaks in from many of the sites. Hammocks were set up for us to use, and the volleyball and basketball courts came WITH balls to use. We will be visiting again!!!

This was an incredible place for our family to camp for the week. The bathrooms are as clean as can possibly be, the lots are flat and clean, lake front lots are steps away from lake fishing and kayaking, "clubhouse" has great prices on items, the ice cream shop is perfext, and the pool is ideal for kids of all ages. Couldn't ask for more out of a campground facility. And all of the people here are the nicest people you will ever meet.

Awesome place plenty to do amazing staff extremely clean only down side is the pool is small mostly kid play area and deep end is taken up by the small but fast water slide a hottub for the adults would be a great addition 😀

Stayed a Dunes Harbor for a few days with our grandkids. They loved the swimming pool. Played on the playground, played a game of corn hole.
Went fishing behind our camper. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Staff was very friendly. Bathrooms and showers were very clean.

This camp is amazing! Friendly, clean., lots to do. Friendly waves from the office every time we came home from the day! Upkeep of the sites was great! Texts to keep us up to date on happenings. The collaboration with the ranch next store took it right over the top! Our new favorite campground. Can't say enough good things about it.

This is a great campground! Tons of very well maintained grass. Both shade and non-shaded sites. Lakefront sites. Cement pads. Lots of stuff for kids to do in the evening. Great pool during the day. Could be a little bigger for the size of the campground but it works. Will definitely be back!

Dunes Harbor is our happy place! They opened Memorial Day weekend 2016, and we discovered it and visited that June. We have visited every summer since then, and sometimes twice in a summer! After 7 years, the campground is just as beautiful and clean as it was that first month. Bathrooms are always clean and well-stocked, the campgrounds themselves are free of garbage, and all of the other facilities (pool, store, playground, ice cream parlor) are continuously being tended to by the staff. In our 10 visits to this campground, we have always been greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff members who are always willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs- all the way back to Vincent back in 2016! Dunes Harbor is the safest campground my family has ever visited. I have never thought twice about allowing my children to walk up the playground or the gaga ball pit without adult supervision. My family looks forward to our Silver Lake camping trip every year. We just got home a few days ago from this year's trip, and we're already getting excited for next year! Thank you, Dunes Harbor, for providing such a memorable experience for my family!
