I highly recommend Canton Computers. They did an excellent job of communicating, increasing my RAM, adding more memory to my C: drive, and getting better wifi reception for me. Prices were reasonable as well. They were very quick in getting it fixed and back to me. I can't recommend them enough!!!!

I pulled up to the computer drive through and I got all the specialty cables that nobody else within a 90min drive has on hand! Great customer service wonderful people thank you so much! Killer prices too!

Bought some parts for some solid prices very nice place

I came in a month ago to repair the backing of a 2-in-1 computer with popped out screen from broken hinge. This was determined an issue with make a model of computer I posses according to the manufacture and forum boards before coming to this location.

The clerk was concise and respectful with attending to concern along with cost of repair.

The repair took a little over 3 weeks including the part to arrive for them to complete the order. The device was repaired.

A month later, the screen did it again but on the opposite side of initial repair; this time no breakage of hinge.

I came in today and disclosed the issue they were kind to review the receipt and device with their technician by another respectful clerk. I received half of payment for repair because it was a manufacture issue even though they disclosed this before a month prior but were determined to fix the item.

I was quite surprised by their integrity and gesture even though they did not have to and I do thank them for even offering and doing such an action.

I pray more success and continued integrity for this establishment. The men are well informed and concise in their services offered.

Great local resource. I had some failed hardware on an older computer that appeared out of nowhere. They were willing to diagnose it but it made more sense to transfer the hard drive into a refurbished more powerful unit as a second drive for the expenses anticipated. They gave me proper advice instead of going for a diagnostic fee gouge. That was appreciated. So I'm spending another $800 upgrading my son's video card and internal hard drives...lol.

Then like an idiot I could not find the data files and the secondary hard drive just due to Windows security issues with the new operating system. I brought it in and they showed me where it was for free.

Not that I'm needy but companies that are honest and have integrity in their work should be a staple for the community.

If you have old computers and peripheral cords that you were just going to throw away, they usually accept those items recycling the bad parts and adding to their cheaper miscellaneous bins for Budget wise customer needs.

I know just enough about building and upgrading systems to be dangerous, but when something breaks, I'm almost entirely useless. Thus, I walked in with my behemoth of a computer thinking I had a motherboard issue after installing a new video card. Techs determined my brand new video card was DOA, but after some tinkering they also discovered that my CPU cooling pump had bit the dust as well. The techs were upfront and honest, recommending a significantly cheaper air-cooling solution for my CPU rather than another liquid cooling system.

They executed all these repairs, tied back a few of my loose cables, re-mounted my SSDs into a single bracket, and did a thorough dust-out of my system. They left me out the door with a reasonable price for these services, along with a detailed write-up of what they'd done and other non-critical findings I might want to direct my attention to in the future. The entire time, everybody I dealt with was incredibly courteous and deeply knowledgeable, and I walked out the door with a system that almost ran like brand new.

It's hard to find reliable computer repair services nowadays, but the techs at Canton Computers hit the mark on every level, they provide fairly swift services, they're very communicative as to what they've found, they're honest in their recommendations, and their service prices are reasonable. I would bring my system to them again anytime.

(And the new air cooling system has LEDs on it which makes the tiny child in my heart super happy.)

Very knowledgable and helpful. Bought a new laptop from them as my old one needed an upgrade; had it for over 8 yrs and it was getting quite slow/a few other issues. Very reasonable prices and great service directing me to what I needed in my laptop without overselling. Overall quite satisfied. Family has used them for repairs in the past as well or for an extra monitor, etc. and have been very pleased. Canton Computers will have my future business.

Went here to have my Chromebook repaired. The initial estimate they gave me was very reasonable. Parts for my model were unfortunately unavailable, even second hand. Upon pickup they refunded my diagnosis fee since there was nothing they could do. Super nice and professional staff. Hopefully I don't need computer repair any time soon, but if I do I'm going here first

Excellent service! Dropped off my dead laptop Sunday at close. Eric did a great job explaining the potential issues and how to resolve each. He gave quotes for each resolution, answered all my questions and was very professional.

It was ready Tuesday and they did everything promised at a very reasonable cost. It’s now better than new with a solid state hard drive and all my data restored! An excellent experience from beginning to end.

I was able to put together a great entry level build for a friend in just 20 minutes or so. I've built my own machine before so a lot of what they have to offer I'm familiar with. Some prices were listed above what I was able to find online, but they were able to give me a great deal on my components, and this ultimately was going to be less than having the same parts shipped.

You can't find everything ever in any shop, but I was absolutely FLOORED to see they had graphics cards at the time I showed up. You can't find anything in the 1000 series normally (even through online retailers).

I made minimal compromises in this build and managed to stay under budget. These folks know what they're talking about, and can help you to avoid overpaying on components that don't suit your purposes. I was given a rough idea on what labor would be for a PC to build it, and I thought it was incredibly reasonable.

If you're not interested in building your own PC, but want someone else to do it for you, this is a great place to give a try. If it's a limited budget, you'll get straightforward answers about what you would need to do, and if that's not your cup of tea they do have a lot of prebuilt machines to purchase as well.

I would personally rather gouge my eyes out than go to Best Buy, and this is my store. They treat me amazing, give me advice, and do things that just make you feel good about going to a business that isn’t a conglomerate.

An honest review from a former employee. The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. It is seriously like a family here. I've learned so much from these people over the past two years working here, knowledge that can't be learned in a classroom, but can only be learned from years of experience and dealing with the systems hands on. The staff is honest when working with customers, they aren't out trying to sell you something you don't need. Anything that they recommend is in the best interest of the customer. I am so glad I was given the opportunity to work here, and I will definitely recommend Canton Computers for both sales and service.

Always have the adapter or cable I need

I have been coming to Canton Computers for years. The staff is very friendly and they really know their stuff. Picked up a used laptop for a decent price and they took the time to tell me all about what to do. It is really fast and I am happy with the value! I will be coming back when I need anything else, and you should, too.

The very friendly staff helped me find exactly what I needed. All products are sorted neatly and clearly displayed, which actually helped me remember that I needed a few more things than I actually went in for. It didn't end up costing me very much more at all, either. Definitely visiting here more often, and I have a solid recommendation for anyone needing some tech help or computer components.

My husband and I both had our PCs custom-built here, and we're extremely happy with the end result! The entire process was quick (done in a few days), and we were able to get everything we wanted from our PCs at a lower price than a pre-built, thanks to the staff's great advice. I highly recommend them if you are looking for parts/advice on building your own machine or to have one built for you.

I love Canton Computers. I first came to these guys in the late-90s at their Redford Location back when they were just "Discount Computers," and that was the only shop they had open. I was lucky enough to work with these guys too, when they expanded into their new HQ in Canton. They're top notch! They don't oversell or try to sell you something you don't need... that was one thing they made a point of teaching me when I worked there. These guys are good, they're honest and they really do care. I've even sent friends from overseas to order from these guys. Competitive prices, great service.
